After a week of work with perfect sunny warm weather the weekend has arrived and it is cold and raining, I was out in it and needed to escape. I am tired and cranky and the last thing I want is to be in a busy crowded café.
With only 4 small tables each with seating space for two, Randwick's Cafécito is just what I needed. It is a warm small intimate space offering the smell of fresh roasted coffee beans floating up my nose. It is warm inside, with a simple, unpretentious and comfortable environment. Also they have a French barista, which instantly bonus points in my books.
Although Cafecito mainly seems to exist as a takeaway coffee shop, it is also a relaxed place to sit quietly and read the paper over a coffee and crossaint or muffin, however they also serve breakfast and lunch. There is also shared bench seating along the wall, fully utilizing their small space.
After my cappuccino and muffin, I was warm and less cranky, ready to take on the rain again. read more
