One of the things I wanted to go see when we were in Spain was a flamenco performance. A lot of the high-rated popular ones I found online were pretty pricey. With some Reddit browsing, a couple of people recommended Cafe Ziryab which had a more intimate setting for a cheaper price. I checked them out and decided this was where we were gonna go.
Originally, I reserved this place for a Thursday, but we wanted to change around some of our travel plans while in Madrid, and luckily, we were able to easily change our reservation to Wednesday a couple of days before. It was super easy to change online, and it worked out so well with our schedule.
We got to the place maybe 30 minutes before our reservation which was great since there were plenty of seats closer to the stage. They checked us in and sat us down. There are different tickets available if you wanted a bottle of wine or a cheese spread. We got the cheapest tickets which already comes with a drink included. The server was super friendly and welcoming. I got a beer and my bf got grape juice. You also get a small dish of olives which was nice.
They started the show shortly after 8:30pm hit. It was amazing! The vibes from the performers and the staff were great! One of the workers even joined in for a flamenco dance circle at the end. The venue was small, but that contributed to a more fun and intimate setting. My bf and I absolutely loved it!
If you're looking for a fun flamenco show in Madrid that won't break your wallet, I definitely recommend this place. read more
