While the ice cream isn't house-made--it's Hershey's--they have a huge selection of flavors, and they clearly list what they have along with the sizes. And let me tell you, even the "baby" size is BIG! The staff was pleasant and friendly, and honestly, if you can't find a flavor you like here, you have an issue. Parking is on the street, but if you're in the area, give this little spot a whirl!

The establishment its self was pretty neat looking. Small building with a drive-thru on either side of it. It was very easy to place an online order. Once we were there, the staff was pleasant, and our order was already ready. I am a sparkling water lover, and the Spa Day (strawberry, watermelon, and kiwi) sounded like a combination I would really like. To my dismay I was sadly disappointed. The drink had no real flavor to it, with minimal carbonation. The only real flavor that came through was an unpleasant after taste that I couldn't really make out the taste of. My drink was also mainly ice with a small amount of liquid. I will say the price of the drinks was very reasonable. My wife and I were able to get two of their larger sized drinks for just over $8. I would say I would try this establishment again in the future, but will probably try a different drink.

Decent assortment of ice cream flavors but it's incredibly slow to try and get anything in there…read more Only one person was working in there on a summer Saturday afternoon/evening, and it took close to half an hour to get 3 people some ice cream. The shop is very large and would seat a number of people comfortably, but looks a little spare right now. There were some annoying people in there discussing politics very loudly, acting like they were defending their own honor or something. They took up a lot of the counter time trying to engage the young server with their political discussion (I guess trying to get him to agree) and I think a more experienced customer service person would have been better able to deflect their questions and move things along. A manager probably should have been on site to make that happen. My daughter had Muddy Boots and liked it, my husband had Maine Blueberry and loved it, and I had chocolate, which was very good. The ice cream is good.

Truly a gem of a shop along the small strip of Carthage. My fiancé and I would walk past the store…read moredaily on our way to the gym until finally we decided to try it out. We brought our service dog along with us. Upon entering the shop, you are blanketed by a feeling of warmth and adorable sweet treat decorations that have a hint of country. The menu is visible on the wall and as we waited, because there was a line, we were able to pick out what we wanted: a root beer float, cookies and cream milkshake, and a small cup of vanilla ice cream for our SD. The cashier whom I'm assuming is the owner/wife was extremely kind and did not even take a second glance at our SD. She took our orders and we patiently waited at a table as the other owner/husband prepared our desserts. We realized they had opened their store in memory of their deceased daughter. Our ice creams were ready and my god, when I tell you it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had, I mean it! So creamy, so flavorful. My cookies and cream milkshake was packed with bursts of cookie cream and cookie bits. It was thick but not too thick to the point where I would have to eat it with a fork. Everything was wonderful. My fiancé enjoyed his root beer float, and I did too! We shared just about everything, even taking a bite out of our SD's ice cream cup, which he inhaled. We will be returning soon for a multitude of reasons.

One wanted peanut butter dip, but they were out, so he settled for his "usual," vanilla soft serve with a cherry dip. Another insisted on the biggest ice cream they offered (because apparently that's a personality trait at 11). He ended up with a banana split in the boat size. Their friend wanted the largest cone on the menu. I ordered him a medium twist instead, and he could barely finish it. As for me, I was deep in decision fatigue. Then I spotted the woman ahead of me with a sundae that let you pick three different flavors. Perfect. The universe had made the decision for me. I went with peanut butter cup sundae with Playdough (bright yellow vanilla ice cream loaded with colorful sugar cookie chunks), vanilla peanut butter twist, and classic cookie dough. The bottom was hiding a bunch of crushed Reese's cups, and of course the sundae was topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of my treat. Is this a gourmet, artisanal ice cream destination? Nope. Is it exactly what you want when you're on a trip, it's late, everyone needs a sugar fix? Absolutely. It hit the spot!

Not a whole lot to say about the place itself, just a standard ice cream stand with all the staples. Service and price were fine. The only thing out of the ordinary is the soft serve itself. It's gotta be the airiest, most fluffy soft serve I've ever had. It feels like you're eating cool whip. No regrets ordering it, in fact we went back another time when we were in the area. But in general, our allegiance falls on the other end of the soft serve spectrum, so we never made a point to come back.
