If you're in Höchst and have never been here, you're just not a local. This place has been there forever and it's always interesting to go in there at least once a year because the renovate the place from top to bottom. Decent breakfast/brunch (that's all we've ever eaten there) and usually not too crowded on Sunday mornings. A good selection of teas and iced teas along with all the other usual stuff. Right next to the weekend market so if you want you can stop off there first so you're not too hungry before you go buy everything in sight at the market! read more

I love a good beer and Wunderbar is where I learned about lent beer. A colleague took me here to get a beer and some dinner while I was visiting. I had a couple of beers and some surprisingly good Chicken Parmesan. The service was really good, especially as I fumbled around with my limited ability to speak German. When I end up in Frankfurt again I will be stopping here. read more

Seit 27 Jahren von den gleichen Inhabern geführt ist die Wunderbar ein Dauerbrenner im Herzen von Frankfurt-Höchst. You can buy coffee to drink in the cafe or a to go cup. They specialize in hot drinks. My American self wanted an iced latte and it was just ice in a latte. They don't have syrups but there's raw sugar you can add yourself. They also have oat milk, which was a win for me The latte was delicious but don't expect American sweetness!

They also have a lovely summer garden at the back. Their staff is A No. 1 too. The restrooms are clean. Very clean and they serve Frankfurt's famous Wacker's Coffee. Their Crumble cake is also very delicious. No wifi but there ARE outlets at the front of the cafe by the corner tables. If you ever see me their, stop by the table and introduce yourself. Cheers!

Die Wunderbar ist schon ein Phenomen. Seit 21 Jahren in Ffm-Höchst neben dem Theater gelegen und man ist hier mit der Zeit gegangen. Innovative Speisekarte (auch mit etlichen veg. Speisen), große Getränkeauswahl, die Bedienung freundlich und präsent, das Ambiente in warmen Farbtönen. Da es eine neue Schallschluckdecke im großen Saal gibt konnten wir uns bei netter Backgroundmusik angenehm unterhalten. Wir saßen auf dem neuen großen Ledersofa und haben den Abend genossen. Der frische Erdbeer-Daiquiri war vorzüglich und das Essen, ansprechend angerichtet, war delikat und gut portioniert. Es war gut besucht aber nicht so brechend voll, wie bei meinem Besuch vor 3 Jahren. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch und kann das Lokal auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
