Plenty of room outside as well as inside for small groups and some stuff to do for children there as well. Recommended for a quiet afternoon coffee or tea. And you can take a stroll in the woods next door if you feel like it afterwards or to get an appetite before your visit.

My wife and I got some dessert here after we saw the castle, and it was amazing. After we ordered, my wife took a bite and told me the icing was very good. I laughed and told her all icing was the same, just sugary and usually crunchy. When I took a bite, it truly was amazing. The icing melts in your mouth and has the perfect amount of sweetness. The pastry itself was flaky, and though it didn't have much filling, it didn't need it to be truly delectable. Everything about it was perfect. I have never tasted a pastry this delicious. We only spend a day in Helsingør, and though we looked for more pastries in Copenhagen, we never found one quite as good as these. I can't wait to go to Denmark to have these again.

We shared the passionfruit buckthorn (a bestseller, sounds exotic & tastes divine) + key lime pie (with a hefty + heavenly layer of torched meringue). We got the coffee (chai lattes included if that's more yo style) + cake special for 64 kr. I know it sounds on the pricey side but there are so many factors goin' for it: the slices are humonnngous, the presentation is lovely (the pistachio crumbles were a nice touch), and the beans are top notch (my americano was supa smooth). Service warm as well - from the patient baristas (ours walked over to the front of the display to patiently explain every glorious flavor of pie) to André himself seeing us out, we felt welcome the whole duration of our stay (+ free tap water & wifi wassup). It is located right next to the castle so it is a convenient dining experience to combine with a walk in the gardens or a castle tour. The brunch is a buffet and there are a couple of seatings. This means that at the start of the seating it is a bit crowded around the buffet, but after 5-10 minutes it cleared out since the whole area can only accommodate around 40-50. The buffet was moderate in size, but well stocked and with quality components (bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, pålæg, make your own pancakes, bread, fruit, yogurt and several pastries). The outdoor seating looked nice, but I didn't see anyone out there even though the weather was nice. I'd definitely come back on a future visit to the gardens or castle.
