Da kommt Urlaubsstimmung auf read more

The food was excellent (I had the pork knuckle) and while they had the requisite regional dishes, some of the game selections (boar, venison, hare) make the menu particularly intriguing. The price is quite reasonable and the atmosphere is quite warm. The multi-level seating and exposed beams make you feel like you've gone back in time. I would strongly recommend you make a reservation.

This place gets a 2 star rating only for the view and atmosphere. First it took 10minutes to be…read moreseated. We walked in and there was no one to greet but saw the guy talking to two other diners and obviously saw us and our confusion. We got seated next to the windows with a gorgeous view of the river. Again this was the highlight of the meal. We ordered the fish special, which turned out to be a white fish that was fried. Oh and it came with potatoes and a salad. The salad was the most flavorful dish. The fish was lacking completely in flavor no seasoning whatsoever, the fry wasn't even great as it quickly got soggy from a bit of lemon juice. I don't know how this place got such high reviews. None of the dishes the other reviewers mentioned were in the menu.
