My understanding is that this restaurant has been around for a number of years, and this can only be due to their testament of excellent food. I popped in here one Thursday evening, having already booked a table and letting them know that I had a tastecard. We were swiftly shown to our table, despite being about 10 minutes early. We ordered our drinks and had a couple of poppadoms with the usual condiments to start. I fancied having something different instead of my usual predictable chicken tikka masala main, and decided on a chicken korma. I shared a garlic nann and rice with my partner, which means I don't overload or waste food if I was to have my own rice and nann. The main dishes were placed on a hot plate. I was so pleased that I ordered the chicken korma - creamy in consistency, and coconutty in flavour I was in heaven! The food here really is excellent, and I throughly enjoyed my meal. The service is good, although one particular waiter never looks happy which dampens the service a little. If you fancy a takeaway they do deliveries too, the phone was pretty much ringing off the hook when we were there! However, he was very unhelpful and just said "it's spice". Therefore I opted for the safe option of a fillet steak. However, what I received on my plate, definitely wasn't a fillet steak, and I'm pretty certain it was a beaten pork chop! (My Jewish grandmother would have been furious might I add!). It was cut up into random pieces and completely covered in mushrooms and onions. As I was with a large party, I opted not to create a scene and somewhat begrudgingly ate it. Perhaps I was being a little paranoid, but I got the distinct impression that the waiting staff knew exactly what I had received, and the original unhelpful waiter even had the audacity to approach me, rather smugly, and ask how I was finding my fillet steak! Needless to say, I doubt I shall ever return to this restaurant again. Based on this experience, the 1 star rating is fully justified. I found it really disappointing, as on my one previous visit to the restaurant, I had a very friendly waiter that went out of his way to accommodate my health needs and suggested a very tasty lamb chop dish. So if any of your party are unable to eat spicy food, I'd unfortunately recommend steering well clear of this restaurant!

Gorgeous decor from the outside entrance and atmosphere felt upscale but not pretentious. Our server was Jordan who was very attentive and offered some great options. Super happy with my Achari lamb pizza and friends ordered the wagyu burger juicy and flavorful. Small touches like the magic dry ice in a golden bowl dropped with the food really added to the experience as well as the warm toilettes we were offered at the end. Great time and if I didn't live in nyc I'd be here more often!

The food is top notch, from the Indian mix grills and Madras curries to the fish and chips. The staff are very attentive and friendly. They serve a few good beers on draught including Cobra :-). The restaurant offers traditional Indian dishes - Bhuna, balties , and masalas with the usual sundries of rice and nann. The service here is top notch with waiters attending to your every need and swiftly clearing the tables. A fantastic cosy restaurant, good quality food and great service. Nicely balanced flavor. One person was working (maybe because it was sunday) and he was pretty friendly. I haven't tried other indian restaurants in the town so I'm not sure if this place is better than others but this seems to be a good place to try tasty indian meal. At least I can say that the food was far better than ones you get in most US for the same money.

On Trip Advisor, this restaurant had over 230 ratings with a rating of 4.5/5. My wife and I had the Chicken Masala, a chicken curry dish, a cauliflower potato veggie, and a coconut and almond naan- Peshwari Naan. And it was all excellent. Give this restaurant a chance. They have friendly, great service with delicious food. It was a welcome change from the "typical" English food that we had eaten while in London.
