We stayed in the hotel about a 7 minute walk from this cafe.
It was early morning and nothing else seemed to be open.
We stumbled in and were immediately greeted with warm and friendly welcome from the shop owner. She was a sweet older lady who worked the pastry counter and served in the cafe.
We sat for brunch in the dining side that looked like an older cafe. It was cozy, beautiful, and welcoming. It felt like we were invited into someone's home for breakfast.
I got the salmon Benedict, mom got the pancakes with fresh fruit.
The produce here is unreal! Everything is so fresh and naturally sweet!
I could eat here everyday for the rest of my life!
After breakfast we checked out the shop side of the store.
That had a lot of gifts, Knick Knacks and cooking/baking goods.
They had cakes by the slice. Of course I needed a slice of Black Forest Cake!
I took it back to the hotel for later.
It was heaven when I had it! read more
