So good!!! We stopped here for breakfast after checking out of an air bnb in Rincon and this place was amazing! We got cornmeal, 2 breakfast sandwiches, hash browns, oj and water for less than $15. All I got on my sandwich was bacon, egg and cheese, but something about it makes me dream about that sandwich when I sleep at night.

This place was definitely a local spot. The cashier was wonderful and very nice. We ordered two of the sandwiches. I got a turkey, egg, and cheese and it was quite standard. However, the bread that it was on was great. It was definitely fresh and very light and soft. While you won't get anything too crazy, you will get exactly what you ask for.

If you're going to be in these parts for breakfast save your self some $$ and stop by this little hole in the wall spot with great criolla food and quick service. The food is great the coffee even better. No nonsense.

I found this gem by accident. After paying $5 dollars for a cup of coffee in the square of Rincon (total scam) I purchased the exact size (Large Cafe Latte) here for only $3 dollars! The staff here are very nice and the coffee was delicious. So much so this is my third visit here in the last two days. They also serve Puerto Rican food (Rice and beans, pork, sausage, chicken, sandwiches, hamburgers, deserts, etc...) You want a great tasting coffee without stretching out your budget? Then come to Cafe Punta. You'll thank me.

    Very clean place!!

We were also addicted to the parcha lemonade. That is a must-order. The empanadillas are awesome and I couldn't get enough of the pork (Order the mofongo with broth and fried pork!) We both fell in love with the town and with this restaurant. The staff were really nice, too. But, honestly with food this good I would have been back anyway. lol

When the Churrasco Mofongo ($27.99) finally came out, the portion size was surprisingly small and did not reflect the price at all. For nearly $28, I expected a much more substantial serving and better overall value. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I also ordered four pastelitos at $2.99 each, and those ended up providing more food and better value than the $27.99 Churrasco Mofongo. It's hard to justify paying nearly $28 for an entrée when a few appetizers totaling less than half the price leave you feeling like you received more for your money. To make matters worse, the staff was largely inattentive throughout the visit. It was difficult to get anyone's attention, there were no updates regarding the long wait, and customer service felt like an afterthought, only because the question "Can I have an update on my order" was asked to the staff. A 44-minute wait can be understandable during busy times, but keeping customers informed goes a long way, especially when multiple families sat, ate, and left before receiving the order. Overall, despite the churrasco mofongo tasting really good, between the excessive wait time, the lack of attentiveness from staff, and the disappointing portion size, I left feeling that the meal was not worth the price. I hope management takes a closer look at both the service and the value being provided to customers.

The food was absolutely incredible, without a doubt the most flavorful meal we had all week, and honestly one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Order the chicken... WOW! Every bite was packed with amazing flavor. The service was truly exceptional. One of our servers, Allen, was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He took the time to talk with us & he didn't seem rushed. The teamwork among the staff was amazing to watch. There was a gentleman constantly walking through the dining room clearing plates the moment we were finished, keeping everything spotless without ever interrupting our meal. Everyone worked together so seamlessly, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed what they do. While we waited for our food--which actually came out super fast for PR--our daughters loved spending time down by the beach area. It was the perfect way to keep them entertained while we relaxed. And the view... photos simply don't do it justice. We had no idea just how breathtaking the setting and ambiance would be until we experienced it in person. If you're in Rincón, La Copa Llena is a must-visit!!

Unlike your typical Puerto Rican restaurants on this island, this restaurant is pretty white washed, so expect to be treated like it's mainland USA and they expect you to treat them the same. Water is not free. They'll bring you fancy water and charge you $5 for it. For food we got the Fish Curry ($32), Orecchiette Pasta ($28), and Tapa Poke ($20). The one dish not worth getting is the Tapa Poke as the portion is essentially bite size and you're paying $20. The others were pretty good, no complaints.
