We chose this spot for our first family breakfast, and it was a great decision. We had a large group of 14 people, and the staff took very good care of us. It did take a bit of time to take all of our orders (which is understandable with such a big group), but they handled everything really well, even splitting the check into three groups without any issues. We also had two family members with significant dietary restrictions, and although there were a couple of small mix-ups (cheese added to two dishes), the staff was very understanding and quick to fix the orders. We truly appreciated their willingness to accommodate our needs. The food was delicious across the board--the coffee was excellent, and the mimosas were a standout. Came to eat via a friend's recommendation. This place is set outside in the open . It was a hot day but the breeze kept us cool. The service was excellent. We didn't have to wait long to be served. We ordered the frappucino with amaretto flavor and a macchiato. The pancakes were beautifully plated. The eggs and bacon were good. The only thing I didn't like was the pancakes were very dense and not soft and fluffy. The taste was good just too thick for my liking. Best road-side stop I've ever been to and best pancakes I've ever had in my life! This food is amazing and you MUST stop here if you're on the west coast. We had the pistachio pancakes which were so good and the best I've ever had: they were so fancy looking and perfect! I had the chicken omelet with potatoes and boyfriend had the steak omelet which were both very good and filling. Iced coffees are AMAZING and just what we needed (we even got ones to-go before we left). Seating is outside on a shaded patio with a nice breeze. I got the Suculentas Potato. It was delicious! And a 16oz cup of natural orange juice. Hold on to your straw wrappers and napkins, the restaurant is located next to the highway and it's very windy but lovely. We were actually speeding down the highway when we realized we likely weren't going to find another restaurant before making the long windy and turvy trip back from Rincon to San Juan. We kept up on the highway looking for a vendor or anything to quell the ravenous hunger one would expect in that equatorial zone and by the graces above we saw across the median the ruddy frame that would be Suculento. There isn't much to be desired from the outside but we sat down and were handed a menu with their array of fruit drinks and food. We wanted breakfast and kept seeing these giant plates being delivered to the different guests and we opted to try it out, even though it wasn't on the menu directly. What we were delighted to see was a beautiful arrangement of pancakes and some other snacks. The pancakes were delicious, red velvet kiwi and like a chocolate. The assorted snacks varied in quality. The eggs, potatoes, and the French toast was nice and felt homey. The acapurrias, cheese curds, and something that tasted like fried corn bread had a diminished quality that almost made it feel like they were Walmart brand but I also digress. All in all I would say that if you were in the area and happen yourself on a highway and see this marvelous structure, go try it out, its worth it. read more
