The coffee is really good, though on the expensive side (based on my experience). However, the service is great, and its a pleasant place to pass the time fine sipping on a coffee and reading the paper. The cafe is near Kedron Brook, so handy if you feel like a walk, it need a recharge whilst you're out walking. They also have duck food for the ducks!!

So impressed with Espresso House Windsor. After discovering…read morethis cute little cafe tucked in behind Maygar Rd, at a help for homeless event yesterday I made inquires as to whether they are "Also" vegan friendly. This was the response I got- ---"Absolutely Kym! All of our bagels are egg free (except the gluten free bagels) and we have Gluten Free Grain Free Deek's multigrain bread for sandwiches. We do a lovely Mediterranean filling with roasted capsicum, eggplant, sun dried tomatoes, baby spinach and pesto. Naturally we can do a gourmet garden salad platter for you or we also have a chickpea salad with spinach, cherry tomatoes, cashews & macadamias throughout. For dessert we can offer a seasonal fruit plate with berries. Hope to see you Friday! If you have any special requests, please give me a call " The food and the indulgent treats looked mouthwatering yesterday. I can also vouch for the delicious coffee.. The owners really have put their heart and soul in to pleasing the clientèle, and helping the community too. There is 3 areas to enjoy your food, out front with street view which is very pleasant on this quiet location, inside with the delicious aromas and cosy atmosphere and also out back in a comfortable, clean and quirky courtyard. Highly recommended nice to know our money goes to people who genuinely care!

5 stars for subtle and stylish use of copper throughout the interior fit out. Yes, I adore copper…read morethat much. Copper accents aside, you might know the faces behind this new suburban cafe from their work at Dandelion & Driftwood just a suburb over. And while D&D is firmly entrenched in Brisbane's specialty coffee scene, Queen of Pops, with its aesthetically pleasing typography, feels like a more grown up D&D. She's chic and refined. It is clear attention to detail was given to every step of the cafe design. But you want the 411 on the coffee, pops and menu, right? Well, much like D&D, Queen of Pops operates on a tightly edited menu of cafe classic. Bagels, toasties and a selection of sweet treats. Yes, the baked cheese cake carries across and there's new additions like gingerbread biscuits in cute cutouts. The Pop in the name refers to their specially crafted coffee ice pops. They're made on a double ristretto and the beans are roasted by Peter Wolff himself. I tried my best to man up to a popsicle on this chilly Brisbane day but left it for another visit. Instead, my cafe chasing friend and I opted for traditional flat whites (all served in take-away cups) and a jam filled donut each. There's a small deck to enjoy your coffee from and blankets to wrap yourself in to ward of the winter winds. On a sunny day this will be the perfect spot to soak up some rays while plotting world domination. If you note the beer tap looking device on the counter next to the copper custom coffee machines you've found their on-tap nitro brewed tea and coffee. Adding these to the list for the next visit. With ample street parking in the side streets to this cafe, there's no excuse to leave the CBD and surrounds to venture to Clayfield and check out the newest member for this Brisbane Coffee Royal Family.

There were a few things that made Queen of Pops a must try for me. Firstly, the reports of copper…read moreaccents and also the proximity to home. Queen of Pops is a little coffee bar from the same team as Dandelion and Driftwood. They have a small menu featuring bagels and a selection of sweets. I had banana bread and a latte (in a takeaway cup which incidentally I took home because I loved the branding). The banana bread was absolutely delicious and the coffee was packed full of flavour and warmth. It was a freezing Brisbane day so I only sat on their deck to quickly scoff my banana bread but in summer I feel like it will be an amazing spot to sit and try one of their signature coffee pops or nitro coffee. Absolutely somewhere I would revisit for a coffee and snack on the go.
