Situated right next to the Liverpool Library, the Black Rose Cafe is a cute little place for if you…read moreneed a caffeine hit.
Their coffee is fairly strong (left my hands all jittery one night), and if you have a bit (read: a lot) of a sweet tooth, I recommend the Caramel Latte, or the White Hot Chocolate.
Black Rose also does fantastic, thin, crispy pizzas and delicious wedges, if you're feeling particularly peckish.
The staff is friendly, and their eyes fairly light up if you ask for an alcoholic beverage, almost as if they're just waiting for you to get drunk and rowdy so that they can have an exciting night.
The cafe is usually very quiet during the day, seeing as it's somewhat nondescript and doesn't appear to get much traffic, but that in no way lessens the quality of their fare.
At night, though, it gets a little busier, and you won't have to worry about the cold on a winter night, because they have a nice big toasty heater in the middle of the outdoor seating area.
Drop by and make their night with some drunken behaviour!
