As a local I have been waiting for the perfect Sunday morning to take my wife to this new cafe to give it a go.
Waited to be seated outside at a table that was not cleaned from previous customers.
Waited for while watching all the staff walk around trying to match the meals or drinks with correct customers and walking back empty handed.
Went inside to ask for a menu and some water, was told "I'll be right there" by what looked like the manager.
Another 10 mins went by, when he came out, asked again for some water, a green tea, an English breakfast tea and two orange juice.
Not to hold things up we quickly decided and placed our breakfast order.
Another 10 mins went by and rec. peppermint tea. Not to upset our brunch which was turning into lunch we didn't comment.
More time went by, and when I asked how was the English breakfast going was told that the order of peppermint tea was for another table and ours was coming.
Yes it arrived shortly after.i waited a little longer and then asked how our orange juice was going, only to be greeted with a vacant look, the young girl scurried away and returned with only one plastic bottle of juice to say sorry we are out of orange juice.
With that my wife and I stood up and told them we were leaving and not paying as we had already wasted 40 mins of precious Sunday morning time. We went to the next cafe 100 metres.towards Frankston and had a fantastic brunch with excellent service.
We know we're we will be going next time. With our friends.
There won't be a next time Cafe Moto
Ps I had to give it 1 star as this was the minimum read more
