Ordered pinto beans and no rice, received the exact opposite.
Stephanie C.

Both orders were incorrect. One was supposed to be pinto beans and no rice, received the opposite. The other order was cheese and onion enchiladas, and received chicken enchiladas.

I never leave Greeley, Fort Colins, or Boulder with out getting some cafe Mex! This place has my heart, the sweet pork is to die for. I can't get a burrito like this anywhere in Colorado! Hope for a location in Denver/Aurora some day...

This is a decent place for lunch. The place is clean. Avoid 12:00-1:00 pm as it is packed with local high school sports teams and such. My biggest complaint is that the chicken is AMAZINGLY SALTY and that has happened several times. They are generous with portions and smiling service.

Thick tortilla much?

Tried this place due to rave reviews from multiple people. I was unimpressed to say the least. The 6 or 7 kids behind the line all apparently had better things to do instead of engage with customers, or explain any part of the menu to. The kid running the register thought it would be a good idea to run and get quarters from the back while in the middle of a rush, the woman who was ready to pay was paying with a card. He had no urgency or any real care. When I asked for a water cup he just mumbled "over there." The food was pretty bad, I stuck with a chicken smothered burrito, with black beans, and hot chili sauce. Should have been a pretty safe bet. Unfortunately there were no other options on what to put in or on the burrito, you get chicken, lots of bad rice, and some beans. Then you get garnish on the side and its all smothered in cheese. The worst part of the burrito was the massively thick tortilla, it was about as thick as 4 other tortillas from any other mexican restaurant. The sauce was bland, it was no where near hot, not even spicy. Overall, I was disappointed, many people said this was a must try place in Greeley, but to me it was just another mediocre at best "step up from fast food" place, that I likely will not be back to.

Sweet Pork burrito smothered in white chipotle sauce

10/18/18: I have been coming here for a while now absolutely loving their food and I've never had a problem with their service, until today. I ordered my usual of sweet pork smothered burrito, but I normally get it without the Lettuce that they put on the side. By the time I got to the other side of the line where they put on all the extra stuff they had already put the lettuce and pinto de gallo salsa on it. I told them that I didn't want the lettuce on it and the lady just rolled her eyes at me in a very irritated way. She then turned to the lady next to her at the prep station saying she didn't want lettuce this is not my fault. They ended up just scooping the lettuce and pinto de gallo out of my bowl and thrown in the trash. She never said sorry, she never said would you still like pinto de gallo, and and she repeated herself another time saying this was not my fault. I really wish they would make their employees wear nametags so we could point out which employee my not be doing the best for customer service. First post: From someone that grow up in San Diego, CA, mexican food is on ever corner. This place reminds me of home. Homemade tortillas to start off. Nice variety of different kinds of meats, sausages cheese and salsa. My favorite is the sweet pork burrito smothered in there white chipotle sour cream sauce topped with cheese. They cook the pork in Dr. Pepper. Great job guys.

Best Mexican food in Greeley hands down. Sweet pork is the move every time. Quesolle's and smothered burritos are the way to go

We recently lost a family member who lived in Greeley nearly her entire life and her dear friend…read morerecommended the funeral party have dinner here for one last remembrance. It's a big place with lots of parking and tables but it gets BUSY in there. We had a party of a dozen people, and they had to push tables together in the bar. Kind of noisy if you intended to be able to hear each other so not ideal. That's not, however, something I'd ding them for. Just something to keep in mind for your gatherings. What was kind of a deal breaker is how long it takes for the host to get to your table to take your order and how long it takes to get your order. We were probably waiting a good 20 or 30 minutes for each of those events. That being said, the service is very friendly. But they must have been slammed. We saw smaller parties getting their order before us who had come in after us. I didn't get any feedback from the others on their food, but the portions are massive so there was a lot of waste. I had the large albondigas soup which was okay. It wasn't rich in flavor and got really salty if you dip the accompanying bread in it. The meatballs were just kind of greasy and the rice in them probably wasn't necessary. Soup contains zucchini which quickly begins disintegrating in the broth, some large chunks of potato and carrrot also floated amongst the many meatballs. Prices are on the more affordable side if you come from a larger city. Dinner entrees were about $14 - 17. Our entire party ate for only $123! I don't have any reason to ever return to Greeley so the question of whether I'd return is moot. I thought it was amusing that one family member got a margarita to go. WTH?

Our go to Mexican restaurant. Delicious food and large portions. The service is always exceptional.read more
