Yay! It's about less than 10 minutes away from me, so we were there in no time. Arrived no problem and we noticed they had a car park round the back. Car parked and ready for food. It was fairly busy for a Wed evening, few couples and a wee party of 6. Ordered our drinks and the waiter explained how the buffet works as we hadn't been before. We helped ourselves to the pile of poppadoms with a fab choice of different sauces. There were some really lovely flavours and poppadoms were really tasty. Our starter to share soon arrived and it was a really good mix and it was delicious flavours. I think they should add fish pakora to the mix and I think it would be perfect. Nom! As it was a buffet we headed up to the hot plate/cabinet things. It started from rice, mild curries up to spicy. I had some white rice and oooh the pilau rice. That was the most delectable pilau rice I've ever had. I piled on some chicken korma and chasni, it looked so creamy and smooth. When we returned to our table there was a big fresh warm naan bread sitting ready for us. I thought that was a really nice touch, a lovely wee surprise as I was looking for the naans. The food tastied amazing, the korma and chasni were scrumptious and the pilau rice really complimented it. For the third course of the buffet we were offfered ice cream or coffee. Ian had a coffee and I squeezed in a cheeky wee ice cream with strawberry sauce. It finished off the meal perfectly. I'm so glad I remembered here and I would certainly come back. I didn't know about all the publicity about the place and the award winning chef but after tasting the food I can see why. Yum!

The veg pakora and the chicken tikka karahi were nice however the Chicken tikka masala was a creamy slightly pink colour and had a funny floral taste. Unfortunately the pilau rice was the brown kind rather than the bright yellow saffron rice also it was overly fragrant, again like a flowery perfume, which didn't go well with the curry dishes. The garlic naan was a bit thin for some reason. The main prob though was after the meal I felt really bloated that night and next day my stomach didn't feel great, feels like fighting off something, so not sure if I would order again.

Located on the main road, a 5 minute walk from the shopping centre itself, it's a great, accessible location for most of Hamilton. It's also located within a 15 minute walk of most pubs I attend, so is a wonderful place to go for some drunken appetisers! The menu is enormous, with roughly 300 things listed on it, so there is absolutely no chance you could be struggling to find something you like. Delivery charge is £1.50 on all orders, no matter the size (a very fair price!), and the food matches this wonderful pricing, with 90% of meals on the menu costing less than a tenner! If you're going in for a collection or just ordering in store, the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable about the food, and good at what they do. There's also a TV on the wall that's usually showing a film channel or something if you're waiting a while; the food is made upon order. If you haven't been here or you're looking for a good Indian Takeaway to try, I would strongly advise you pop in here, or give them a call!

Was invited to a Dinner for a local businessman who had been honoured with an MBE. As I had not arranged the dinner or knew what the dishes would be, I was a bit wary (remember I am a Korma girl) but I should not have been. There were 24 of us to start with and as more people arrived the staff dealt with adding tables and moving people around in a lovely way and without complaint. We had a choice of 3 starters - Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka and Fish Fritters served with salad and 2 dips. I tried them all and although all were very tasty, my favourite was the fish fritter. On to the mains and here I struggled a bit. Lamb Nentara, Chicken Balti and Tarka Daal with rice and naans. All of them were a bit hot for me although everyone else appeared to be fine. Went for it anyway and really enjoyed the lamb, rice and naan. Was advised after I stopped feeling my mouth to drink water not orange juice. The only thing that would go against its favour is that it does not enjoy passing trade, and hey even if you have a vague idea where it is or have been before you may struggle to get there. It is just a little difficult to find through a few windy street. Although, it is right outside the train station which means you can eat easy knowing your car is safe. If its not safe there then I have no idea where it would be. I went here for the business lunch which was just over £5 and a fantastic deal. Yes three courses for that price! They are pretty small courses which would obviously be cut down for this meal but still tasty, fresh and good snacking lunch. The choices of curry are limited in the business lunch as is every other course. So here is what I had, pakora, masala ith rice and nan, and ice cream. All lovely and good for the price, no wait, great for the price.
