Located on the main road, a 5 minute walk from the shopping centre itself, it's a great, accessible location for most of Hamilton. It's also located within a 15 minute walk of most pubs I attend, so is a wonderful place to go for some drunken appetisers! The menu is enormous, with roughly 300 things listed on it, so there is absolutely no chance you could be struggling to find something you like. Delivery charge is £1.50 on all orders, no matter the size (a very fair price!), and the food matches this wonderful pricing, with 90% of meals on the menu costing less than a tenner! If you're going in for a collection or just ordering in store, the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable about the food, and good at what they do. There's also a TV on the wall that's usually showing a film channel or something if you're waiting a while; the food is made upon order. The restaurant is just one ambient room, with dimmed lights and elegant presentation but it isn't huge, so on a weekend it may be an idea to book in advance, especially given the quality of the food. Unfortunately Wednesday nights didn't seem to be too popular as we were one of just two sets of customers. I would, however, recommend this curryhouse to anyone and everyone regardless of how many people visit it on weeknights. I had heard that this place was really good, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that because it was just about to close, it was below par. The chicken was rubbery and freezing, and the sauce with the pakora was gloopy and watery. I was not impressed, but I genuinely am in the minority when I say that it was rubbish. It seems to have either changed management or been refurbished or closed and re-opened numerous times; I've never really managed to keep track. Although it's cheaper than many take-aways in the area (of which there are many!), it's also a bit sub-par. I know I'd much rather pay 7 quid for a curry over at Madras Cottage than suffer their stale, shrivelled up mushroom pakora ever again. The delivery drivers tend to have good banter, but as far as the food is concerned, I'd give it a miss.

Yay! It's about less than 10 minutes away from me, so we were there in no time. Arrived no problem and we noticed they had a car park round the back. Car parked and ready for food. It was fairly busy for a Wed evening, few couples and a wee party of 6. Ordered our drinks and the waiter explained how the buffet works as we hadn't been before. We helped ourselves to the pile of poppadoms with a fab choice of different sauces. There were some really lovely flavours and poppadoms were really tasty. Our starter to share soon arrived and it was a really good mix and it was delicious flavours. I think they should add fish pakora to the mix and I think it would be perfect. Nom! As it was a buffet we headed up to the hot plate/cabinet things. It started from rice, mild curries up to spicy. I had some white rice and oooh the pilau rice. That was the most delectable pilau rice I've ever had. I piled on some chicken korma and chasni, it looked so creamy and smooth. When we returned to our table there was a big fresh warm naan bread sitting ready for us. I thought that was a really nice touch, a lovely wee surprise as I was looking for the naans. The food tastied amazing, the korma and chasni were scrumptious and the pilau rice really complimented it. For the third course of the buffet we were offfered ice cream or coffee. Ian had a coffee and I squeezed in a cheeky wee ice cream with strawberry sauce. It finished off the meal perfectly. I'm so glad I remembered here and I would certainly come back. The veg pakora and the chicken tikka karahi were nice however the Chicken tikka masala was a creamy slightly pink colour and had a funny floral taste. Unfortunately the pilau rice was the brown kind rather than the bright yellow saffron rice also it was overly fragrant, again like a flowery perfume, which didn't go well with the curry dishes. The garlic naan was a bit thin for some reason. The main prob though was after the meal I felt really bloated that night and next day my stomach didn't feel great, feels like fighting off something, so not sure if I would order again.
