Cold, rainy wet, walking Rick Steve's City Walls and Neighborhood walk and maybe a little off track and found this hidden gem. The only other customers were a couple having an intellectual discussion in Spanish. The owner didn't really speak English but she can make coffee and explained a little about the Ottoman architecture of the near by Kasasker Ivaz Efendi Mosque (it's visible from out in front). It's right in front of a 15th century now non functioning fountain. 5 stars for having Kafka in Turkish. My favorite cafe in Istanbul.
