For airport eats, this was actually pretty decent. They have this sandwich around the terminal in the to-go sections but I highly recommend you wait the extra few minutes to order from the counter and get it toasted. Easy to eat. Delicious. Just overpriced but that's expected at the airport. read more

Cafe Con Leche - Turkey Sandwich - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Tampa, Florida

This has to be the slowest, most inefficient store front at TPA. Slowest moving employees and service known to exist in the airport.

With all the options at Airside C terminal at Tampa International Airport, this counter spot is quick, friendly, and efficient. The line moved fast enough that I got my Cuban sandwich during my layover in just five minutes. The sandwich was $14, packed well and filling. The flavor was on point and meaty, while the lady at the counter offered me a few packets of mustard and mayo just in case. Pair it with a cafe con leche or other drink of choice to make it a meal. I would choose to purchase from this place again over the other dining options at Airside C considering how tasty the Cuban sandwich was and the quick service. read more

Great little spot in the airport to grab yourself some quick munchies and coffee to provide fuel for your travels. I stopped here needing an extra coffee to get through my flight to Norfolk, and was happy to be greeted by friendly workers at the front who werre patient as I made my selection. I got myself a cafe con leche with toast. The cafe con leche is wquite large (like 24 oz), so brace yourself, but I love coffee, so I didnt mind at all. It was rich and creamy with good body and flavor. Paired with their fresh, hot, buttered Cuban toast, it really hit the spot before I had to say goodbye to my hometown. read more

Got my chocolate fix with the muffin and the coffee was good too. Service moved along quickly so I was in and out in no time.

Very rude and poor service. No English. Nasty woman running register. Had no clue what I was saying and then threw my order at me to leave. Wow. read more

A long line waiting to order coffee and an even longer crowd waiting for their order. So, I went over to the order-online kiosk that claims you can skip the line. The guy ahead of me was trying to buy a bottle of water, but the kiosk kept erroring out. We tried again and again, even using different bottles. No luck. He gave up. My turn. I ordered a coffee with creme. Guess what? A different error. Try and try, no luck. Gave up and ordered a drink at the bar next door. Get it together, CCL! read more

Terrible breakfast sandwich. Egg does not taste fresh. Coffee is ok but you're better off going to McDonald's.

Enjoying a nice hot cup of Cafe Con Mocha. It's pretty good. They put the right amount of sweetener in it and that's good. Usually I need to add it at other places. But they really do it right here. read more

Five star airport breakfast. I had the breakfast Cuban this morning, 12/25/24. Great staff. Great sandwich. Best food and service for airside C. Would definitely order from here again. read more

The cuban was very tasty and a very good size for the price at an airport while the cafe Ybor Ciry hit the spot! The service was great and their smiles left a better experience than TSA. read more

Tasty Cuban Style sandwiches, made to order. We were looking for something fast and hot before boarding our evening flight. When everyone else was starting to close up, they stayed open to feed us. Thank you! read more

rude staff and overpriced. I would eat before you came to the airport. also saw kitchen staff opening packets with their mouth

I didn't get a chance to grab a Cuban on this trip, so with some extra time at the airport in Terminal C (Southwest Airlines), I hit Cafe Con Leche. The biggest problem I had was it wasn't pressed. In fact, the sandwich press looked not to be working... But I'm not sure... As I started typing this, I realized I ordered my Cuban "hot", not "pressed", so maybe this was on me? On the menu it's "Hot Pressed" (see pic), so who knows? That being said, it as hot, but without being pressed, did not live up to my expectations. It was rather soft, but it was tasty. Bottom line: It did scratch my itch, but it was no La Segunda! read more

I like that Terminal F has a Gonzmart wing. It's nice for an airport to celebrate local businesses. That being said, I went to Cafe Con Leche only because I didn't have time to grab lunch elsewhere before my flight. And the food was only so so. I ordered a Cafe Ybor (strangely enough, the Cafe Ybor is more expensive than the cafe con leche for a single, but cheaper for a double) and a pressed Cuban. The Cafe Ybor was fine. It was actually a huge serving, and so I anticipate being wired for the rest of my day. The Cuban sandwich was not pressed. It was baked in an oven. Therefore, the bread was still fluffy rather than crispy. Also, they didn't use enough mustard or pickle, so the sandwich lacked acidity. The serving size was huge, way more than I could eat, but I'd rather a smaller sandwich made correctly. I will say that the service was pretty fast. While you are still paying airport prices, the serving sizes of the pastries on display were big. If I'm in a rush and boarding at a nearby gate, this wouldn't be an awful option. read more

This was delicious! Seriously! I wasn't sure what to order in the beginning but decided on the Cafe Ybor with almond milk. It was the perfect amount of coffee and milk. The service was fast and the quality of coffee was so much better than Starbucks! read more

This is a corner cafe in Terminal C for coffee/cold drinks/pastry/Cubans. I came for breakfast, and even though the guava filled pastry looked delicious, I opted for the cheese and egg on Cuban bread. The eggs and cheese were yummy, but it was a little too much bread for me. Since sandwiches were made fresh in one oven, and since so many of us were ordering this morning (5/10/23), service was slow. But staff was pleasant! read more

Cafe Con Leche - Waiting for my order - all made fresh! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Tampa, Florida

Glad when leaving from terminal F to know that there is fresh café con leche available and guava pastry. This location has many Tampa selections, but a nice coffee is always perfect for my flight. The service is friendly, it may take a minute, but it is worth the wait! read more

Tl;dr: Andrea C-R is an UHMAIZBALLS barista and completely changed the vibes for the rest of my day I just moved back to Tampa and it was a complete cluster and I hadn't slept in a week. I was about to board a flight back to Dallas (to clean up my old house to sell it) and needed a energy boost so I could #adult on the plane and track everything I've done, what still needs to be done, etc. To obtain said energy, I stopped by Cafe con Leche for an Almond Milk Cortadito. Andrea was just super happy and nice and bouncing her high curly ponytail around...there was a cosmic transfer of positive energy that I desperately needed! It was wicked busy and she was just so awesome! In a world where neighbors are evil and harass each other to the point of lawsuits, I like to take a minute and share the positive encounters with humans. We need more Andrea Cabreras on the planet! read more

This place the worst service of any place in the airport The coffee is good and the food is decent but the girls at the counter treat you like you are interrupting something important the are doing No smile, no thank you , nothing I don't care if I'm starving I will never stop here again read more

I don't know why I thought cafe con mocha would be an awesome idea. Probably because it said hot chocolate but it totally needs a better creamer selection or more honey. Yes honey I'm eliminating sugar from my life lol. Also I got the guava cream cheese pasty, taste manufactured and not homemade! St Pete spoiled me. read more

Found this gem in the Tampa Airport near the Southwest Airline terminal. I'm usually not a big fan of Airport food, but the Cuban sandwich here was well worth the wait if you have time before your flight. They also had several tables to sit and have a meal. read more

The staff at your TIA location was rude to my sister and dad this morning, they had a 6:30 am flight back to Chicago and got coffee and a sandwich there but will not be going there the next time they're in town. Recommending you retrain your staff or hire people with customer service skills. Disappointed Tampanian read more

I stopped here yesterday on my short layover and there was only one employee working so I did have a long wait (hence 4/5 stars). However, she was very kind and recommended the Iced Ybor. WOW. It was strong, and delicious. It definitely gave me a boost of energy with the amount of espresso inside. It contains whole milk, condensed milk, and espresso. Hope I have another layover there soon so I can go back. read more

Don't use the kiosk to order. Only 1 sandwich choice - toast. And order never registered with staff making coffee or food.

Today before our flight to Dallas/El Paso, we had a late breakfast or an early lunch at Cafe Con Leche. My wife had the ham, egg and cheese sandwich and I had the Italian sandwich. Everything was good and service was quick. read more

This place seemed like the best breakfast option available in the airport based on the options and prices so I went with it. Sandwich was hard in places (probably overheated) and very messy. Tasted okay but the price was hard to swallow for the quality. The iced latte was great and I highly recommend if you need a decent caffeinated beverage. read more

Deli ious coffee and the Cuban was amazing as well! My mom and I shared the Cuban because it was SO big.

I was soooo impressed by this cafe in the airport! I got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! I wasn't expecting much honestly. You know how the airport is- not so great food and overly priced- but this sandwich was worth it all. The eggs weren't plain, they had some type of seasoning, the bread was delicious, and it had just the right amount of cheese on it. Would definitely eat here again if I were in the same terminal at Tampa! read more

Ybor breakfast sandwich is amazing.............definitely will come here again when I fly out of Tampa

Inside Tampa Airport yesterday 12/3/2021 at 4 02pm I really needed something to eat before my 6pm flight. Saw the location along with a few other places that share the large eating area, and since I hadn't had time to have a Cuban sandwich while in Florida I gave it a try, really without having huge expectations upfront. Ordered 20oz Aquafina water, bag of chips, and the Cuban Sandwich, total was $19.20 and left $2 cash tip in counter tip cup. Register slip says - 56 Sara R. so hopefully one of the 2 very nice young ladies working. Would I return, yes! Pros- Quick service and both young ladies were very nice! Cuban sandwich was very good for airport food, served hot and good flavor. Good quality and taste of bag of chips they carry. Tables in the shared area for eating were all very clean even though lots of turn over and overall area was pretty busy. I typically spend more than $20 on food and drink before a flight, so since I liked the food and was under $20 I call this a pretty good value. Sandwich was good size and with chips I had a happy belly! Cons- None read more

Total garbage. Not sure how one can mess up egg and cheese but this place should win a prize for it. Seasoned with about half a jar of whatever spice they use (not mentioned in description) along with an abundance of salt and butter. You can taste everything but the egg. One bite and into the garbage it went. Be warned - Don't waste your money. Burger place next door is a better option for egg and cheese. read more

Okay breakfast choice for what is available. $20 for two breakfast sandwiches & an iced coffee Cuban breakfast sandwich & Ybor breakfast sandwich - both were soggy and about room temperature vs warm/hot. The Cuban had a decent amount of meat on it, which I appreciate! Most places skimp on the meat. The iced coffee had an off taste to it. They do offer half n half, whole milk, and skim milk on the side with the various sugars & sugar substitute. read more

A disgrace to the Gonzmart name! The sign says "Hot pressed Cuban sandwich," priced at $13.00 (!), but it wasn't until after I paid and the sandwich was bagged and given to me did they tell me it wasn't pressed at all, that the pressing machine was broken. Bad enough. But later I saw there was no roast pork, a single, puny pickle slice, and barely a dash of mustard. The worst Cuban sandwich I've ever had in Tampa. read more

Sometimes you just don't know what to get to eat, especially for early morning flights. I decided to get some breakfast and wasn't sure what to get. Spotted Cafe com Leche in the C terminal right by my gate and decided I'd try them out. Breakfast selection included breakfast sandwiches and assorted pastries. I decided to go for the ham, egg and cheese sandwich. The taste was just ok, especially for $7 but I was hungry so it didn't matter much. Service was fine with the cashier taking my order quickly and the food being prepped in under 5 minutes. Would I be back? Maybe...depends on how hungry I am and if the lines are long. There are numerous choices in the food court so I would probably try another spot first. read more

Coffe is excellent! The sandwiches, not so much. The egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is just microwaved. Way over microwaved. So hot initially you couldn't touch the package then the bread got rock hard. Just warm the sandwich, don't incinerate it! read more

The best coffee in an airport ever! Big surprise. Wish you had a shop in California.

Great way to start the day when you have an early flight! (6am ) The line was kinda long but totally worth the wait for a large cafe con Leche & an Ybor breakfast sandwich which consists of ham, egg, & cheese on Cuban bread. It was a big portion: very satisfying and delicious. I'm ready for my day! read more
