Grilled Octopus

Perhaps my favorite Italian restaurant in St. Petersburg. Genuine Italian food and service. The octopus was the absolute best i've ever had in my life and i've had octopus by the water in Spain... that says a lot. 1000% coming back. Tracy and Fernando are too notch Thank you!

Manicotti for one, I split with my daughter who got her own dish.

Cafe Cibo is a quint little Italian restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. There are ceiling fans in both locations for comfort. We had Caprese salad with very fresh mozzarella, delicious! My daughter and I split the manicotti and they prepared both of our dishes separately and provided us each with a side salad. Each table receives bread with dipping sauce at the beginning of the meal with was fresh and also delicious. Jonesy was our server. She was there before we needed anything, thank you for the fabulous service!

I was craving pasta and here we went! I was in love with my choice! Our server was so nice! And the inside is so cute and cozy. We sat outside during sunset and it was a vibe.

Chicken parmigiana

I really wanted to try this place based on its yelp reviews and it did not disappoint! The chicken parmigiana was a huge portion with 2 large pieces of chicken. It also included 1 piece of bread. Don't skip dessert... the chocolate cake was amazing. The food was ready quickly and was packaged nicely for take out. Highly recommend.

Homemade lasagna and bread sticks, the dipping sauce is to die for

Delicious authentic fresh in house made Italian food cooked with love. 26 years and running, must visit for a date night or group of Italian food lovers. The pizza is also amazing, one of the best I had! I've eaten there three times and the food surpasses expectation each time. Owned and operated by a Sicilian. Service is always attentive. Don't pass on the deserts!

I can't even begin to pronounce the name of this dish by HOLY MOLEY. I'm not an Italian person but I will be coming back for this. It was called like catchateo or caccatiore. The flavor was so rich and the chicken was the perfect consistency. The sauce tasted like a garlic tomato heaven in my mouth. You could order a Small medium or large and I ordered the small and have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!! Our waiter, Fernando, was very friend despite the ridonkulous comments from the elders at the table, including being asked to microwave the butter. He was very accommodating to our weird requests. 10/10 for this experience. The only thing I found weird was the chefs were Mexican and not Italian.

Café Cibo is a great Italian restaurant with very homey vibes. The ambiance is very quaint and family style. The service was very well oriented and friendly. I've been here for lunch, and more recently dinner, both are phenomenal options. They give you bread with the vodka dipping sauce and it's amazing. There portions are huge! So leftovers was definitely enjoyed.

Manicotti

I've been dying to try this place every time i drive by and finally ordered it tonight. I got the Manicotti, 10/10! arrived quick and warm, and so yummy. definitely want to visit in person to try other dishes!

Stuffed portobello

My husband and I came here after picking out our Christmas tree since it was in the area, and we got seated right away since it wasn't too busy, which was great. We ordered the stuffed portobello as an appetizer, he ordered the chicken and spinach cannelloni, and I got the penne con porto. The portobello was pretty good, but I was a little disappointed it was only one mushroom. The cannelloni was honestly just TOO much cream for me (doesn't help that I'm lactose intolerant, I usually take lactaid but I was out of it that night), and the flavors were just very homogenous/a little boring. I liked my penne con porto much better, but it also just felt like there was something missing. I think it needed a little bit more balance. Overall though, pretty good food and it was a cute little spot. I definitely would be willing to come back and try ordering some other stuff to see how they fare.

Bread was fresh

Food was good. Atmosphere was nice. Service was good except for the hostess. The tables for two are very small but so is the restaurant.

This is small pizza place with only a few employees and a small seating area, the building is next to other businesses and by the Publix very close to where we stayed which was another reason we picked this for our dinner meal. This business has listed on their door and on yelp that they close at 10pm but upon arrival we were told they were closing at 9:30Pm, not that I was very disappointed because it felt like I was walking In to hell with how hot it was in there. I am not sure if their ac was working or they just had the ovens at full blast but it was a much better idea that we take the pizza with us and eat it else where, the girl at the counter was nice about them closing early. The pizza was pretty good and was not as greasy as other pizzas I have had that end up giving me a stomach ache,my sons really enjoyed the pizza and the large pizza was big enough for four people but the price came to $27 witch is a bit high for one large pizza. Overall, good pizza but a little pricey they also offer subs and salads and even wings in their menu. I will have to try something different when I visit this area again.

I was here for a friend's birthday dinner, they aren't very crowded on weekday nights so it's easy to get a large table. I read my last review, which was that I should get a different dressing with the kale salad. When I read the menu, I saw that the blue cheese dressing is standard for the kale salad, but this time I asked what my other options were. I decided on a raspberry vinaigrette, and it was the best decision I could've made. So here is my order from now until probably eternity, it is the kale salad that has delicious amount of cheese and candied nuts so I don't feel deprived. I get raspberry vinaigrette which, even though I don't specify, I think they always bring dressing on the side just in case. And I add grilled shrimp. It is delicious, healthy, and just a great all-around salad. Parking was super easy on a Tuesday night there is tons of parking in this parking lot. They do close at nine, which I think is a bit early especially because there's so many people that live now in the apartments around. I hope one day they decide to stay open until 10. Our server was fantastic and we had a great time.

After about 10 minutes a manager named Arthur came around and asked if we had been helped yet and we said no. He said ok just be patient someone will be with you shortly. After another 10 minutes he said to just go up to the bar and order with the bartender. When we approached the bar the rude bartender said to go sit down and that she would be with us shortly. Again, no one ever came. No one ever gave us menus and we sat there for over 30 minutes before walking out. Terrible communication between management, hosting staff, and bartenders. Terrible staffing issues. Everyone was telling us to do a different thing and we were still never greeted or served by anyone!

I love discovering a hidden dinner diamond. You would probable never stop at this restaurant unless…read moreyou are looking for homemade pizza. After you go inside it still looks like a family pizza shop. Only about 8 tables and several racks of Italian can goods etc., off to the left. (they are sort of a Itallian Grocery Market) You probably got a friendly Hello when you walked in the door. They are friendly, you feel right at home. When you sat down things began to change. First the menu, colorful a feel-good menu with a nice verity of Italian dishes but not an over whelming number. Seven appetizers & Side Dishes including: Garlic Cheese Bread, Calamari Fritti /Marinara Sauce, Cozze Alejandra (Mussels Alejandra) Sauteed Mussels in Garlic, Herbs, Olives, fresh Tomato with Marinara Sauce. Italian Salad and Anitpasto Yes, Seven kinds of Home made Pizzas, 3 Calzones Ten diffferent Pastas ($6.50 to $10.50) Including: Shrimp Gamberi Pomodoro, Sauteed Shrimp with Garlic, fresh tomato, basil, Pomodoro Sauce served on Angel Hair Pasta. How about Penne Alla Vodka Pasta, Penchatta with Shallots, Vodka, Tomato Cream Sauce and Cream. Penne Sonmons, Pasta with Sauteed Garlic, Artichoke, Broccoli, Mushrooms, Sun Dried Tomatos and Tomato Sauce. Even if you are not a veggie this still sounds fantastic. Five different 12 inch Hogies Five Home Entrees ($9.95 to $10.95) including: Pollo Sicilliano, Sauteed Artichoke, Mushoom Chicken in Tomato Garlic Sauce. Pallo Marsala, Pollo PIccata, Pollo Parmigiana and Pork Piccata which caught my eye. For my order this trip as I will be back. I asked if they had Cesar Salad (it was not on the menu) The waiter (?) Louie said no but I would really enjoy their unique house Itallian Salad. I won't go into details but it was delicious, I scraped the plate. Next was the Calamari, with Marinara Sauce. It was perfect to my taste it was crisp and crunchy, I also finished the plate. Then the Piccata Pork arrived. I must be honest it did not look or taste like any Piccata I have had. It was served in a big plate heaping with Linguine Pasta. Topped off with two lightly breaded Pork Loin Cutlets the size of your hand. They were covered with graded cheese and a delicious white sauce like an Alfredo. The Pork was tender and had a perfect taste. I am not sure what it should be really called but it was so good. I'll have it again. I could only finish about one third of the pasta and only one of the pork cutlets. The rest went home for tomorrows lunch. The food is great, the prices are low, what else can you ask for? Italian Pavilion Restaurant is a also a bit hard to find as it in in a set of strip stores which runs vertical to Park Blvd. You can bring the kids... It's friendly.

Happened to notice a sign about an Italian lunch buffet and decided to check it out…read more I was thoroughly impressed at the offerings. 6 different pasta dishes and garlic rolls- tried the Alfredo, lasagna, and a rotini with mushrooms. All of the pasta was quite good. The Alfredo being a 3 plate ordeal. The garlic rolls were awesome, crispy on one side and soft on the other. The red bean soup with chicken was probably the best- I did not realize there was soup until after a few plates of the delicious pasta- I still managed to consume 2 smaller bowls, beans and shredded chicken in a delicious broth. Got to talk to the chef and who I believe to be the owner- I will absolutely be going back.
