Why to expensive for me £11 for English Breakfast just over the top on price. But it was a creamy buttery full flavour .

A lovely breezy cafe that opens out onto Boscombe high street, tables and chairs placed amongst the trees on the street. Gorgeous food, though it is not cheap, (dishes around 8pound, all freshly made on the premises. Fry-ups, sandwiches, aubergine based main courses, pancakes and a wide selection of drinks. Lots of good coffees served in large mugs, as well as choc based and fresh fruit smoothies of the day. Inside it's homely, large wooden tables with seats in the window. Art is dotted about the walls, and is available to buy. Super friendly staff, and a lovely way to spend a few hours catching up with a mate. Open Sundays. read more

This used to be cafe boogaloo. It is a Brilliant Cafe!! the staff are really nice - the food is gorgeous and yet healthy (but you wouldnt know it). They also do wheat free food (just ask - btw there pancakes are gorgeous) and food for veggies/vegans (this place is much nicer than the vegetarian cafe over the road) The decor is cool, funky and laidback and it is generally a nice environment to relax and chill out. In brief - Boscanova is the best place to eat in Boscombe. The food they serve is absolutely wonderful, and never before have I seen a cafe which caters for so many different diets without any hassle (there's no "Please ask if you want us to take meat/nuts/bread out of any meal). The food is of great quality, and obviously very fresh. The standouts for me are obvious: The sidewalk breakfast is a brilliant way to start off the day, and it's served all day on Sundays. And then there are the smoothies. They change every day, but are always utterly awesome...and so fresh, that they're still piles of fruit when you walk in the door. It's worth popping in for one if you're anywhere near Boscombe town centre (you can take away too!) The atmosphere is good inside, everyone seems really friendly. And despite the impressions you may get from the bohemian-hippy-style ethos of the menu, Boscanova manages to avoid falling into the trap of being holier-than-thou, up-itself as other similar cafes do. read more

If you happen to be in Boscombe, Cafe Boscanova is the place to stop for quality coffee (even for the pickiest of coffee drinkers!) & something to eat. Aside from coffee they serve freshly squeeze juices & smoothies. They have a good sized breakfast menu which is served all day long & a lunch menu from 11:30. They also have cakes & desserts up at the counter. Ingredients are fresh & some listed as organic. Menu prices are inexpensive & service was friendly & easy going. They do have wifi & local artwork on the walls which also gives Cafe Boscanova lots of character. read more

I don't really know where to start with the praise: 1) coffee amazing, delicious and thoughtfully prepared, 2) the food is ordered the avocado toast and steak and eggs and it was a total triumph, 3) but perhaps my favorite thing was the staff. They are so friendly, kind, and I want to be friends with the all. They were accommodating, let me charge my laptop even though the store holds no public power outlets, they were attentive and funny. Boscanova is a small restaurant with quick turnover on covers. My co-diners inhaled thier lunch in a matter of minutes partly due to the food being excellent, partly due to it being about -20 degrees celcius inside. As one of my peers waits for his warm breath to de-ice his lips from the quirky metal straw in his freezly squeezed fruit juice we will consider returning... after we have visited "The Northface" for matching kagools and some thermals... An excellent atmosphere, during my visit there was life band playing outside it. Lovely works of art all round the walls of the cafe. The chocolate brownie was very nice, despite the rather plain hot chocolate I had with it, you need to have cream & marshmallows to make it sweet enough. Local independent Cafe. Gorgeous funky decor. The walls Feature local art and artists. Great community noticeboard. Really good coffees from an enthusiastic staff . Lots of Organic choices on the menu- Also items that are vegan veggie and wheat free are clearly marked. Really useful as several of my freinds have allergy's. Menu features great breakfasts like Canadian style pancakes with blueberries- wheat free Spelt Granola and a great veggie breakfast with Haloumi and Bubble and squeak- Lunch service is fast and they do a good takeaway business especially popular at our local office are the Brownies a perfect pick me up in the middle of the afternoon or one of the amazing soups. Prices are great the most expensive dish on the menu is £5.95 and thats for a huge mezze plate. Sandwiches are priced from 3.95 Licensed buzzing and a great vibe read more

Excellent Food. My partner and I are both vegetarian and so it was brilliant to eat out and not be restricted to the usual cheddar sandwiches and jacket potatoes with beans. I had the Meze board which was gorgeous and was ideal for sharing. My partner had a tortilla with sweet potatoes and chilli. The smoothies and juices are refreshing and excitingly unusual. My friend is intolerant to wheat and dairy and this is a favourite haunt of hers as they cater for such a diet. Great food, great atmosphere and great to see a cafe making exciting food for vegetarians! Only wish there was one in bournemouth centre. read more

There is no where to hang out in Bournemouth. I moved here last fall from the states to study at the Arts Institute, and one of the first things I noticed was how radically my social life changed. Where, in America, my friends and I could wander down a busy street knocking between record shops and thrift stores and cafes, in Bournemouth, we mostly just stayed in each others run-down, poorly-heated student houses. For three months, I griped and I searched. We went to restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes, book stores, video stores, and even the university campus. Everything sucked. I couldn't properly hang out with my friends outside of our houses. Then I went to Boscombe. The Cafe Boscanova was everything I was looking for. The atmosphere is fun, the food is great, and the prices are fair. With the complete dearth of cool places in Bournemouth, something like the Cafe Boscanova should stand out. They make real pancakes, too, none of that paper-thin crap these redbacks love so much. We need more of this in Bournemouth. read more
