After the schnapps was served, the waiter told me they wouldn't be serving me anymore alcohol. What. The. Hell? I am a 120kg male. 2.2 std drinks with a pretzel and nashville schnitzel will not effect me in the slightest. Also hypocritical coming from the same establishment that services 1L beers, up to 5.5% and totalling 4.3 std drinks. Needless to say I was very annoyed by the comment and I won't be returning

The Dessert was a strawberry shortcake and it was nice, not too sweet and consisted of house-made strawberry ice cream, a shortbread base with strawberry jelly cubes, mixed berry coulis, and what tasted like rose meringue and topped with edible rose petals. All up it cost me $72. Tip is to park at nearby transit centre as no parking at restaurant as in a lane way. The transit centre is about a minute walk.

Sat for ages waiting for someone to give us menus, even pressed the little buzzer that says "press me for service " with no result. Went up to the counter and asked if the buzzers were working, bored look and response of "what?". Had to ask for menus, which "miss bored" eventually brought out to us. Both ordered the GPO breakfast. Crispy bacon, eggs (any way), grilled tomato, relish and toast. I asked for "well done toast", got lightly pan fried bread, not toast, and not well done. Tasteless, very ordinary breakfast. Bacon and eggs can be quite yummy, not this one tho. Not worth the effort of getting up early on a day off to have brekky here (only serve breakfast until 11am), a shame as earlier visits have been very enjoyable. Service non existent, food tasteless, boring really.
