Excellent food with beautiful outdoor patios. The fries were super crispy and fish were very fresh. The staff was very friendly and service was great. Very enjoyable lunch.

For those of us that live in the 305 this time of year is the ideal Tome dine al fresco and this is a prime spot. It sits on the intercostal canal so you see water and all the waterfront homes. The food skews towards elevated latin (Cuban, Argentinian etc) but you will find burgers and sandwiches too. I had this wonderful steak perfectly cooked served with tostones and a nice aioli. Excellent meal

This insider Mid-Beach Miami restaurant on the water doesn't need to advertise. It's the go-to for those locals with winter homes in high rise glass condos high above the ocean on sterile streets. It's a probably designed for someone to go a few times a week. Wish I could. A wry pro staff in a spot most will never find.

Lunch at Bernie's! Ate outdoors on the patio. Very hungry due to my first full day at a residence on 5445 Colllins street and having had no breakfast. Quite a nice experience. I was offered a small bowl of fried plantain chips initially. It is rare that a restaurant offers anything "on the house." It was taco Tuesday! There were several tacos offered, skirt steak, grouper, mahi mahi, pork and vegetarian. My crispy shrimp taco was an excellent blend of flavors. It was truly outstanding. For my beverage I had an iced tea which was very nice as well. Glad I decided to try this place.

This place is a must visit on Mid beach!!! Fantastic! Everything we ordered was so so good. The tuna tartare was one of the best I have had. The mahi sandwich was very well seasoned. The lobster roll had so much lobster in it!! We will be goin back again and I honestly can't wait. I also forgot to mention the stunning views of the water.

Great food, great service , great view! This hidden gem is located in a condo building, but once you get there, you won't regret it. The staff were fantastic, They were attentive and really hospitable. Overall, I would come back to place.

Another winner for awesome food delivered with great service. Nice little place right on the intracoastal with patio seating. Jackie was the icing on the cake that made for a great experience. Cocktails were perfectly prepared as was every dish; ceviche, avocado salad, red snapper fish and chips and pompano. The seafood linguine fra Diablo was fantastic, loaded with mussels, scallops, shrimp and calamari in a spice sauce. We will be back!!

Seafood Chowder GREAT! Booth was buttery and great. Baguette slices were also good. We had the seafood Salpicon De Mariscos starter VERY GOOD. Olive oil base - excellent. The main course was Linguine with Shimp, Calimaria, Scallops and Muscles in a spicy red cream sauce was very good and well prepared. ALEX TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF US. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND FOOD.

Café Bernie checks all the boxes for an excellent dining experience. This is a Miami Beach restaurant that is a must try for everyone. The water views from the comfort of the large canopy or the umbrella fitted tables on the water's edge are wonderful. With the sun setting and a nice breeze wafting in, I can't think of any better place to be for dinner. The fantastic menu holds many scrumptious selections. The Seafood Stuffed Avocado is a must have. Whether it's the Lobster Dinner Special or the Churrasco Steak, you will find something to please. From seafood to a burger, from dessert to drinks, everything leaves the kitchen to your table hot, fresh, and artfully presented. Lastly, the staff exemplifies all the hallmarks of fine hospitality. We were greeted at the door, welcomed in, and escorted to our table. Rikki, our waiter, excelled in every way. One of the managers, Grant, did a satisfaction check on us mid meal. At meal's end, we were fully satisfied and left with smiles and a cheerful good bye from the staff. This is the kind of dining experience you deserve, so try Café Bernie. You will be thrilled that you did.

Guava bbq ribs with Black beans & basmati rice sides

Hidden away in the lobby of a condo building is a little oasis of waterfront dining with a view of the Intracoastal Waterway and tasty tropical dishes. I'd seen Cafe Bernie's mentioned on another Miami Beach social media page and had a chance to stop by for a quick weekday dinner. You drop your car off at valet (or rideshare) then sign in at the front desk. There is inside dining space but try to access their waterside patio for your bites. (I heard they also have a weekend brunch menu) Niko my server was super friendly and on-point with suggestions. After ordering a chilled glass of Pinot noir and enjoying some complementary mariquitas (green plantain chips), I ordered straight from the main course. (Yes, I previously researched the menu). Although their menu seems to emphasize seafood, their beef courses are just as yummy. Personally, my dinner was their deliciously messy and sticky guava bbq ribs. Served with a side of basmati rice rice & a dish of black beans (frijoles negros), these are the kind of ribs you eat by hand at a picnic or your favorite sports bar with a generous lather of tangy sweet guava bbq sauce. Your fingers will get sticky - even though you're in a nice condo go ahead and lick them. Yes the ribs are that good! (They do have lemon scented hand wipes to clean your hands and phone screen). I also enjoyed an extra side of lightly crispy & thick yucca fries with ketchup. A slice of pistachio-dusted & whipped cream garnish key lime pie with a thin graham crust and lime scented jigglyness closed out my meal. This is definitely a find if you're in midbeach and want to enjoy a flavorful yet relaxing dinner.

    Entrance from inside the building.

Prime 54 looked like the perfect spot that would check all the boxes. Everything from the service by David, the food and atmosphere was excellent! Upon walking in, I got the upscale steak house vibes. We were seated at a round table which was great! We could all see and talk to each other while enjoying this feast! As a starter, I always order a Belvedere dirty martini up with bleu cheese olives. A proper steak house ALWAYS has my bleu cheese olives! We started off with the Caesar salad and their giant croutons. It arrived with large Romaine leaves uncut, but we had them cut it up for us which was much better for sharing. We like to eat family style. We ordered the octopus also which was as delicious as it looks. For the steak, we decided on the Chateaubriand. It arrived in five perfectly cut pieces for each of us. I thought it was cooked perfectly. Loved the rare to medium rare center. For sides, we ordered the fries- nicely done, light and tasty with an aoli and a side of ketchup. The green beans and broccolini also hit the spot. I could have kept eating that delicious bread also. The birthday girl was brought a slice of what looked to be Chocolate Decadence Cake. We all tried a piece of this rich chocolate dessert. After dinner, I enjoyed some Angel's Envy on the rocks. What a satisfying dinner and an enjoyable experience! I'd return to Prime 54 - chic modernized steak house interiors, great service and exceptional food. You just might break the bank to live a little though. So worth it!

We've had the pleasure of dining at many of his current and former venues where he has left a mark, and earned some Michelin stars along the way, Mirabella serves Italian (leaning Italian American) high end, high quality comfort food that I think most people would be very pleased with in an elegant setting with comfortable spacious tables. Here's what we had and all was excellent: Hamachi Crudo, menu says with smoked prosciutto, chive and lemon but I remember the well balanced lemon citrus flavors. $25 Tomato and Olive Foccacia with whipped ricotta and EVOO $10 a very nice focaccia served warm Casarecce with blue crab, Calabrian Chili, basil $35. Not spicy, delicious fresh pasta and very good quality crab meat in a red sauce that worked better than I would have expected. $37 Cavatelli with duck confit, peas and morel mushrooms $35. Another hit, served in a white sauce. Polpette $22, Tomato sauce braised beef meatballs with a splash of ricotta. Most impressive is the fact that you can order over 40 wines by the glass, including around 12 Coravin selections, although you may not love the pricing, i.e. $125 for a glass of Krug Grand Cuvee, $140 for a glass of Sassicaia. There are about 14 half bottles on offer. Wine markups average about three times retail. Serious wine collectors may be permitted to bring a wine from their cellar for a $60 corkage fee.

The ambiance sets the tone, classic Italian décor blended with a seamless indoor-outdoor terrace that makes it the perfect spot for any gathering. I always gravitate toward the terrace, where the ocean breeze and sunset views pair effortlessly with a Negroni or Aperol Spritz... la dolce vita at its finest. The hospitality is immediate and genuine. The hostess welcomed me each time with a warm smile, semplice ma importante. And then came Vivi, our waiter, who didn't just serve us, but guided us through a true Italian culinary journey. We began with their house focaccia, served warm (thankfully), soft, and ready to melt the butter instantly. That detail alone matters more than most people think. The second round arrived just in time with the burrata, allowing every bite to become the perfect scarpetta moment. One of the absolute highlights was the crudo di salmone. The citrus-kissed sauce brought a creamy brightness, while the peppers added that subtle sweet spark that makes you pause and appreciate every bite. The Caesar salad was decent, nothing to write home about, but it held its place. Now, the pasta, qui si gioca tutto. As someone half Italian, I don't say this lightly: the lumache with vodka sauce completely stole the show. Rich, balanced, and impossible to leave unfinished, scarpetta obbligatoria. The rigatoni with parmesan and basil, however, leaned a bit too salty for my taste. By the time the secondi arrived, I was already full, but curiosity always wins. The meat was cooked to a gentle medium-rare, tender and flavorful. The snapper, dressed in a brown butter piccata, stood out for enhancing the fish without overpowering its freshness. And then, the real knockout, the truffle purée. Creamy, aromatic, perfectly balanced... every plate around the table was wiped clean. The charred broccolini with parmesan fonduta followed closely behind, giving us yet another excuse to not leave a single piece of focaccia behind. No Italian experience is complete without dolci. The tiramisù was everything it should be, creamy, coffee-soaked, and indulgent, elevated with a dusting that leaned into cappuccino and cinnamon notes. The bomboloni, soft ricotta-filled doughnuts, came with amaretto or chocolate sauce for dipping. peccato di gola at its best. Grazie mille to Maestro Robert and the entire team, you didn't just serve dinner, you orchestrated a volare experience that took us off high!
