However, a single shot of espresso, as I for the most part find the double shot to be to strong for me. So like I always do I ordered the single shot latte. I had a couple of sips, and then one more, and released, this is basically hot milk. It had no taste of coffee (even for me). So I went inside and asked to please get a new one. The barista seemed confused, but still made me another. I thanked him and was happy. However, not for long. I took my first sip and the coffee strength was not even on my mind, as the milk had water-like consistency. The milk was not steamed what-so-ever. Again, I went back inside. At this point, I did not even want to get a new coffee, as I was pretty certain he did not know how to make one. So I asked to please get a packaged juice/smoothie, which I did. All in all, not very happy. Due to two things 1. The barista did not apologize at all, he seemed rather offended (even though he gave me new cup of coffee) 2. The coffee was horrible, BOTH times. I mean, come on! And lastly, I ate a sandwich too. The topping was good. But the bread! Uuugh, soooo DRY. Definitely not fresh from the oven, or even from that day. Not acceptable. Surprisingly difficult staff; poor to non-existent service and stressing their customers while they make their orders. They are also highly unhelpful in accomodating customers´ wishes; wishes that don´t raise any eyebrows in the other W.B Samson cafés throughout the city, are all of a sudden a source of debate with the staff at this one. Very sad to say that this way of business for this particular W.B Samson café seems to be a pattern rather than an exception. I have personally stopped coming here altogether- I came for the beverages, not to be verbally punched in the face.

Bought some beans to go - in 250 mg bags. They have 1 kg bags at discount - the beans are not quite up to the same quality. Definitely a destination if you are a coffee snob!

Take awhile since this is quite popular and a hype since it got #1 coffee place in the world for few years and as of 2025, it's #2. Just say that I was in heaven for at least 25-30mins. The beans, the smells, the tastes are quite different on each drink. The aroma, the strong, bitter taste lingering in your throat slowly and let it defined gradually. Just pure heaven. The service is excellent and no rush, just take your time to find your liking, and then your time to enjoying the coffee. Can't wait to go back for more.
