The verdict: nothing short of amazing. The bagel sandwiches are reasonably priced and loaded with all sorts of goodies. Mine came with seitan, a spicy-fruit habanero-mango sauce, veggies and fake cheese. It was perfectly spicy and filling, and a complete step up from the generic "bagel with hummus and sprouts" that I'm typically limited to in American cafes.
The coffee I had along with my meal was normal, which means it was good, and came with a small coconut-y cookie, which pleased me, because normally I can't eat the cookies that come with coffee.
For dessert I had a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting. For the pricetag of 2,50 the cupcake itself was pretty standard - similar to every vegan cupcake I've tried or made. But the frosting was out-of-this-world delicious. I think frosting shots are stupid but I totally would have bought one if Vux sold them.
The location itself is great. Small and cozy and clean inside, with a couple additional tables outside on a quiet street. The only thing keeping this cafe from five stars are subsequent visits.
