I totally recommend their cocktails, they have a large offer of mojitos (classic, raspberry, passion fruit, mango...) and also other classic cocktails like the usual sex on the beach and so on. They also give you complimentary dried fruits (banana, coconut, papaya..) with your drinks. I tried the passion fruit mojito, which was a great election! I liked it ! The service was good, with a welcoming staff. You need to order your drink at the counter though. I thought the space was alright, we sat in the group corner which was cool but it was cold inside. It is a lounge still kind of place but I think it still needs some more decoration. I recommend you to have few drinks here and have dinner in the neighborhood

I like a bit of tiki from time to time and have been to some great tiki joints world-wide. And,…read morewhile I'd say Paris' first foray into this particular cocktail culture is baby steps, they are definitely heading in the right direction. First off, the decor is spot on. They've tricked the place out with the appropriate masks, floats, thatched bar, kitschy murals and wood carving in every available corner. Drinks-wise it's a bit more simple & straightforward. The small menu features the appropriate tiki drinks - although I would like to see a bigger selection of both drinks and rhums. Yet, even so, my drink was one of the better mai tais I've tried in Paris. Although I do agree with Adrian's comment that some drinks are booze-heavy while others feel so light you're left wondering if there's anything stronger than fruit juice in there. But that's not too unusual for tiki drinks - I'm sure many have met their downfall on a high-octane tiki drink that was "nothing but fruit juice" I love the fact that it's in the area of the bar-heavy 10th, but just a little removed on a much less busy side street. So, if you're bar-hopping on Oberkampf and can't find something to suit your mood, you can easily make a five minute journey to a street that's not busting with student bars and find something a bit more quirky. On an international scale, I'd probably give them 3 stars, but the fact that they are the only ones doing this on a full-on scale in Paris and still bringing it even without any competition, earns them an extra star in my estimation. I've been popping in on some tiki forums and die-hard local tiki fans seem to be delighted with the place, which I think says something. Also of note: they're friendly on both sides of the bar. They seem to already be drawing in a pleasant & laid-back clientele and the bartenders/owners aim to please.

We ended up going with Ava and her boyfriend Yassine, lining up after dinner, around 10:30 on a Friday night. There was a small crowd waiting outside, and it took us about a half hour to get in. The place was fun and busy, and as charming as I remembered. We got seated in a loungey upstairs area and received excellent table service. There was free popcorn and even a complimentary round of welcome drinks, a strong mini cocktail of Gentian and peated whiskey. The menu had changed over completely since my first visit. The cocktail offerings were printed onto thick printed leaves arranged on metal branches, forming a cool little tree centerpiece that replaced a paper menu (there was also a more detailed menu available online). Several of the cocktails were labeled with raindrops, indicating they were available as mocktails--helpful for Yassine, who doesn't drink alcohol. Matt and I shared two rounds, sampling a good chunk of this new menu. Everything was delicious. The Carbone was a bright, interesting cocktail made with beetroot, black garlic, Origin smoked gin, and Dartigalongue Un-Oaked, served with a cube of frozen yogurt that melted lushly into the beet-red drink. The Serre Solaire was smooth and boozy, with black tea, green walnut and milk, Cointreau, and Rémy Martin cognac. The Résilience was a highbrow tropical cocktail, with sorghum, pineapple sage, Pasquet cognac, and Savanna rum. The Permaculture was creative and flavorful, with chestnut, butter, wakame umeshu, and Avallen Calvados. I also tried a sip of Ava's Aquaponie, a light, juicy vodka drink with basil, lemon and sweet clover, St. Germain, and Grey Goose. I love Little Red Door and I'm glad I got to visit a second time and share it with my husband. We do live kind of far away, but I hope a third visit is in the cards.
