I haven't found a better espresso or latte than here, and if you have achey cakey pangs, they have a nice selection of muffins and cookies etc. There's even free water in a jug on the counter.
It's self-service, so no waiting around to order and then pay, and you can get a card to collect stamps and get a free coffee, you can then collect the cards to get a kg of Hochland coffee.
You'll find it up the side street, by Karstadt, in the pedestrian zone. You can read a magazine or today's newspaper, there are chairs and tables outside and in winter there are blankets for your knees and patio heaters, to keep the top of your head warm. It's all very civilized.
