Here you'll find the most delicious and extraordinary coffee and hot chocolate creations in Darmstadt. Unfortunately they're only open during shopping hours, but sometimes they have an after work special with DJs upstairs. read more

Die Coffea Bar hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt italienische Kaffeekultur so nahe wie möglich am italienischen Original zu servieren. Angefangen bei tadellosem Espresso mit tragfähiger Crèma, Cappuccino in perfektem Espresso- Milchmengen-Verhältnis, sowie sahnig crèmig geschäumter 'frischer' Vollmilch. Kurzum, wir machen es richtig!

History

Established in 2003.

Die Coffea Bar entstand auf der Idee, die Leidenschaft für guten italienischen Kaffee zum Beruf zu machen. Als zweites berufliches Standbein war die Adresse Ernst-Ludwig-Passage in der Darmstädter zentralen Innenstadt schnell gefunden und mit Alexander Bernjus als Architekt ein unglaublich schön umgesetztes Coffeeshop Konzept ins Leben gerufen worden. Bis heute begeistern wir mit unserem Design aus viel Holz und Naturstein.

Meet the Manager: André S.

André kam im Jahr 2006 in unser Team und ist seitdem ein unentbehrliches Mitglied dieses Unternehmens. Er steht mit vollem Engagement hinter der Bar, als wäre es sein eigenes Unternehmen.

I haven't found a better espresso or latte than here, and if you have achey cakey pangs, they have a nice selection of muffins and cookies etc. There's even free water in a jug on the counter. It's self-service, so no waiting around to order and then pay, and you can get a card to collect stamps and get a free coffee, you can then collect the cards to get a kg of Hochland coffee. You'll find it up the side street, by Karstadt, in the pedestrian zone. You can read a magazine or today's newspaper, there are chairs and tables outside and in winter there are blankets for your knees and patio heaters, to keep the top of your head warm. It's all very civilized.

Das beste und netteste Café in Darmstadt!!! Ein wunderbarer Ort um Menschen zu treffen (wenn man draußen sitzt läuft eigentlich immer jemand vorbei den man kennt) oder sich mal für eine Weile aus dem Alltagsrummel zurück zu ziehen (oben kann man gemütlich auf der Fensterbank chillen, lesen, nichtstun, entspannen ohne "auf dem Präsentierteller" zu sitzen) Der Kaffee schmeckt sehr gut und ist fast immer richtig schön heiß. Auch über den netten Service kann man nicht meckern, Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass es neben Kaffee und süßen Kreationen auch ein paar besondere Kaltgetränke gibt (Arizona Eistee zum Beispiel) und man auch Abends auf einen schönen Spritz Aperol o.ä. hingehen kann :-) Von den Partys in der Coffea Bar hört man nur das beste, nächster Punkt auf meiner To Do-Liste!!!! Auch ich bin hier regelmäßig Gast. Bisher habe ich nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Kaffeespezialitäten sind überragend. Zugegeben die Lage in einer Durchgangspassage ist nicht optimal, dennoch kann man schön draußen sitzen. Bei schlechtem Wetter lädt der loungige Innenraum mit Loungemusik ein. read more
