Horrible experience. They hold your senior portraits captive. Outrageous prices Wish I could give them 1/2 star. Their costumer service leaves a lot to be desired GO ELSEWHERE !! read more

This place is just a huge money grab. "Professional photographers" are kids. Pictures are decent because the place has the backdrops, lighting, and cameras so that anyone can take a good shot. Since the schools demand you go here for senior pictures, your stuck. I suggest getting the cheapest photography session for sure - know that no pictures are included! Now your child is in the yearbook. I also suggest just getting the portfolio with the eight shots for $199 and be done with it. It's the cheapest way to get pictures with the most variety of poses. If you want copies then just take a picture of the pictures in the portfolio and have developed your self. I accidentally selected the photo session with the presentation. I unwittingly paid more for the photo session, just to go sit there and watch a hard sell to spend thousands. Skip the presentation at all cost. But think... for $199 you could probably hire your own photographer and get senior pictures and family shots as well! read more

Save yourself the trouble and hire a local photographer. My daughters in studio volleyball pictures were awesome but when we learned the ridiculous overpricing of packages, my daughter was left extremely disappointed. $1300 just for the Zip drive. Plus, they didn't help anything when they came to West to do player pictures. Horrible, weird lighting that wasn't flattering to any of them. 2021 was the worst ones I've seen after 8 years of volleyball pictures. The schools need to demand better, otherwise, we're losing memories and trust me when I say, it's gone in a blink and all you have are the photos and the memories. read more

This is the email I received from Cady after spending $70.00 on my son's school pictures. I wasn't able to see his pictures prior to receiving them. He has his mouth wide open and he looks surprised. It was a horrible picture and I asked for a refund. I got this... Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we cannot complete that request at this time as all sales are final and cannot be canceled or changed. We hope that we've taken care of any questions that you have. Please contact us with any further inquiries. Best Regards, Miriam M. Customer Experience Representative CADY read more

For such an exciting time in a student's life, the pictures were not good. The poses were nice. The pictures were horrible. I paid for light editing. The editing was absolutely horrible. For the casual pictures , my daughter's body was sharp and in focus, but her face was blurry. Even after they tried to sharpen, they were blurry. I asked them to send me unedited pics so I could edit them myself. I am still waiting. The formal pictures... what can I say. Only because I wanted my daughter to have a decent picture in the yearbook, I paid premium editing for one yearbook pose. The school's choice is CADY and it is the only way my daughter's picture will be in the yearbook. The cap and grown pictures, I rather not see. I will go to a local photographer who does amazing pictures for cap and gown pictures. Let's not talk about the portfolio they sent. OMG!!! I am so disappointed. When speaking with CADY, the young lady was helpful trying to resolve the issue. You can't resolve issues of horribly shot pictures. The young lady said we have the option to retake the pictures; however, paying for hair and makeup again is not an option. read more

I'm giving a rating of 3 stars because the employees that work at the Acworth location were wonderful. The photographer did an amazing job! My issue is with the cost and the package options you can't just pick what ever poses you want and pay the 60.00 per sheet, you have to pick a package and if you want additional poses you have to pay and additional 30.00 just for the pose . The cost of printing the photos is the part of the process that is should cost the least. If you want a digital format it's an all or nothing option at a cost of almost 2K. Why not offer digital format at a cost per pose you choose? read more

This was an absolutely atrocious experience at the Horsham PA location. The worst experience I've ever had with kids photos in my life . I got suckered in the elite package - and they said I get an elevated experience which consists of them taking more set photos and then wrapping it in a bow and putting a video presentation together to try and sell me the photos at an elevated price .. I get NO PROOFs with this package and everyone in my household MUST come to the presentation or they don't get to see the photos . Took these pics in the summer and I could not get everyone to view the SALES presentation so there is no way for my senior or husband to see the photos . On top of it the cap and gown photos were horrendous and need to be retaken which I'm not even sure I can deal with them again because I'm so frustrated . And I am hearing that the people who signed up for Elite are being pitched $900 - $3000 packages . It's the most ridiculous process I've ever seen . Photographers are decent - it's CADY's process and corporate BS that is absolutely horrible , fraudulent, and misleading. Oh and to top it off - in the summer they would only take appointments on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays ) . I complained to their corporate - which is in Georgia (another red flag - why are we dealing with a corporate entity that can't even resolve things directly at the studio rather than several states away?) but after I complained about the summer sat and Sunday only options they added Fridays - oh gee - thanks . 90% of people I have spoken to hated their experience . read more

This company is a rip off. You purchase the product and you don't get what you purchased and you can't get in-touch with a supervisor to help, not to mention you get a different person every time you call. I have been trying to get my product that I purchased in August and now we are in November. Senior year is stressful enough with all this nonsense. They need to give us another company to use for senior photos vs this company. read more

What a Scam!!! The website pre-selects items you haven't chosen, and they send you your photos in a $200 cheap portfolio that you can buy on ebay for $16. If you don't send back this item that you never requested, you are charged $200 plus tax to your credit card!!! No way to order online without agreeing to take the crazy overpriced picture holder. Ridiculous!!!! I WILL BE SPEAKING WITH THE SCHOOL BOARD ABOUT FORCING PARENTS TO TAKE PART IN THIS SCAM!!!! read more

The studio photographer for Amelia's cap and gown and senior yearbook pictures did such an amazing job He was very kind, patient, and helpful. Indie put together a great slide show and talked us through each picture helping us choose the ones we loved the most (which was a major undertaking with the amount of photos to choose from)! Never once did we feel pressured or hurried through the process from beginning to end. There were a few bumps but AJ, the assistant manager, was gracious, attentive, understanding, and super compassionate as she helped us resolve these issues. She was amazing. Needless to say, I highly recommend Cady if you are looking for photos for any event.Thank You Indie, AJ, and the Cady team. read more

This company charges way too much for pictures, especially school pictures. You have no choice but to buy packages that don't make sense. Perfect example of price gouging. Hate this company. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. This company is THE WORST. From senior photos to sports teams, my granny could do better and she died 12 years ago. Extremely unprofessional employees in the studio who have no clue how to use lighting or cameras...mostly all teenagers. I suggest avoiding this company like The Covid. ETA: after reading over other reviews, l expect the same generic copy+paste response from the owner within the next few days. read more

We were forced to use this company for our daughter's senior pictures. Honestly I could've done a better job with my iPhone. The pictures were ridiculously expensive. Also they double charged my husband for the "sitting fee". They charge clients $250 just for a "sitting fee". This doesn't include any pictures. The pictures we bought did not include any touch-ups. You have to pay extra for those. The minimum package fee for "decent" pictures is over $500. Thanks Lambert read more

I want to begin by saying that you have some amazing photographers in your employ and they were by far some of the best we've had the pleasure to work with. Specifically Nyla and Sara were personable, pleasant, professional, talented, and just all out amazing. They helped make my son, who does not enjoy having his photos taken, relax and enjoy the experience. He did not speaking about their impact on this morning. Unfortunately I wish I could stop there. All experiences today were not great. There was one just extremely unsatisfying and had it not been for a gentleman I will mention in a minute, it would've soured the entire experience. The Brick scene was the worst experience I've had with Cady between both my son and my daughter. The photographer started the session with a test photo and then snapped 3 shots. She glanced at her camera relieved that the pictures were not "too dark". I am definitely assuming she was referring to the pictures with her statement. She continued snapping pictures (many of which were amazing). She then repositioned my son next to the barn door and asked two coworkers standing nearby for suggestions. When they glanced one (a woman with a low sitting slicked back curly ponytail) immediately commented, "Why is he wearing his jacket," in a tone suggesting she did not agree. I replied to the statement (after she repeated it two more times) with "He likes is jacket and wants to wear it. That's why." She glanced in my direction and took a few steps towards my son to assist with his placement. She told him to place his hand under his chin and rest his finger on his hand which he immediately did. Then instead of giving further directions she took her hands, placed them on his face and proceeded to move his face in multiple directions. He glanced in my direction at that point and I told him he was free to tell her to stop touching him, which was completely not necessary. An extremely tall gentleman with a glorious beard stepped over and took over offering suggestions. We finished the scene and then the photographer came to hand us the paperwork. I asked her about previewing the photos and selecting the ones to move forward and she said, "Yeah they say we are supposed to do it over here, but they do it up front when you check out." This seemed strange since we sat through the two people in front of us and those two young ladies were not only allowed to select their photos but were given the opportunity to retake a couple they did not like. We were just brushed off and moved to the next station. I mentioned this again when we checked out. The young lady stated that, "Oh really?!? Oh well yeah umm sometimes it's up to the photographer to review the photos with you and some just don't like to do that." This again seems strange since 1) we are paying for these pictures and mostly importantly 2) she provided that exact service for the people ahead of us and NO ONE touched the young ladies while taking pictures. I am not concerned about which photos are going to be selected, everything had an "x" when we left the scene and nobody seemed to care that I was concerned about this. I hated that the experience was ruined through the actions of two employees when everything else was so good. These are his photos and a moment he will never see again. read more

I can not believe any county would have an agreement with this studio. They want you to pay a $200 sitting fee. Then in order to buy a pic you have a choice of 1 pose for $500 or 5 poses for $1900. Shame on the school for working with these crooks. How many kids don't get senior pics because of this rip off studio read more

CADY - What universe are they living in - Session Photography Near Me - Johns Creek, Georgia

So the second round of pictures, the tux jacket that they brought from their company was full of wrinkles. The photographer took his pictures in this wrinkled garment! When I asked to have this yearbook photo fixed, they did it! No questions, no fee! But when I went to order my pictures. I asked if they could fix the tux jacket. I was told for$29 single pose or $89 for I think 3. Why should I pay for something your company brought for the shoot? If it was your child would you think is fair for me to pay for something your provided? Oh yeah we could have the taken again, for the 3rd time!! But when he's in football, 5-6 days a week practice/ games, impossible! Oh and can't get a price on cap and gowns? Why because their not released yet! So you figure out the price as you go??? I don't understand how they think this is acceptable read more

Save your money. You'll get more professional photos by taking selfies. Low quality back of the mall a$$ photos. Terrible light8. The photographers just snap whatever and are quickly trying to get you in and out. Expensive way to find out their services aren't worth sh!t. Please read the other reviews. My wife had scheduled a session with this place while I had been traveling for work and the minute we walked in I knew it was the wrong choice. Our photographer was amazing. The rest of the process was a nightmare. Don't be fooled into purchasing the "Elite Session" and paying $199 for the sitting fee. There is a $30 option as well. As an "Elite" guest, we aren't allowed to purchase the cheaper (HaHa! Cheap?!?!) packages. The company wants to charge as much as it can and do not care about your opinions. The "Elite" are treated worse than the regular people. It's disappointing that the schools mandate the use of Cady Studios. If you have an extra $500 laying around for a portfolio and one 8x10, I highly suggest using Cady Studios. If you are a regular working person and don't have a million to drop on pictures, go elsewhere! read more

I am highly disappointed and frustrated with Cady Studios. I received my daughters pictures only to get a pose that I did not choose AND they spelled my daughter's name incorrectly. I called Cady Studios and spoke with a nice young lady who helped with the reorder. I was sent an email that my order was on it's way a week later. I received the new pics and I'm highly disappointed because I paid for my daughter's name to be on the pictures and theres no mention of her name. So the 1st set of pics had the wrong name and now the second set has no name and the word athletics printed partially over her dress. I'm so done!!! I think they have 1st graders doing their print work. I need Cady Studios to run me my money back because I'm so through with this debacle. read more

This company is a complete scam. My children are in 10th and 11th grade and their high school uses them for their yearly photos. I had to spend $45 per child last year to get a digital photo. Ultimately that was the most financially smart idea in order to save some money but still be able to get photos for all of our family. Meanwhile, Lifetouch is still used at my younger childrens' schools and today I was able to get two of their packages (8x10s plus both digital files) for about $32. For TWO KIDS. Cady needs to get their head's in check. Their photos are absolutely not worth the money they charge and it's a rip off. I feel so bad for senior parents who wants those very special photos and feel obligated to spend hundreds on mediocre photography. Fingers crossed that this year is the last year they make us waste our money on this company. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. First takes were awful, retakes were awful! The photographers do not help the kids make sure everything is ok, like their hair isn't sticking up or their clothes are crooked, before they start snapping pictures. The gown they gave my senior for cap and gown pics was ripped in the first takes and I had to repair the zipper on the gown on the retakes. If I hadn't been there, they would have just taken the pictures with a ripped out shaggy looking gown! They sent a portfolio home with the first takes and made it ridiculous to return and then charged my card after I told them not to, I wanted to return the portfolio. They would not budge! At re-takes I specifically asked if the $226 I was paying that day for ANOTHER portfolio and digital downloads would include the cap and gown pictures and was told YES. Come to find out that was an outright lie. I just had to pay another $169 to get digital downloads of the cap and gown pictures. It's impossible to choose prints from their online proofs because the plaster "PROOFS" ALL OVER THE PICTURES, INCLUDING THEIR FACES, so you can't tell what they really look like. So as of today I have paid $569 and have ZERO actual prints. This company is a JOKE and a SCAM! read more

It has been over TWO MONTHS and I still have not received the proof sheet! To be honest, the ONLY reason they got any business from me is their negotiated MONOPOLY on official school photos for my son's school! I seldom have need of professional photography but, in light of this experience, it is extremely unlikely that, should I ever wish for personal professional photography services, that I would even consider this firm! Even before the advent of digital photography, I never heard of it taking anywhere near this long! read more

This would be a 5 star review for Cady Johns Creek if it was not for their pricing structure! I feel like I'm paying ransom for digital photos of my son! Given the monopoly they have in the area, they should really do better with the pricing. I think the only way it will change is if we as parents pressure the schools to negotiate a better pricing structure. We loved our photographer Cameron M. she was really great. She got our son to open up and pose like a model. But most importantly he enjoyed it. Kudos to Cameron M.! All 5 stars to her and 1 star to Cady. read more

I cant even buy my senior pictures!!! I have to do the simple session cause it doesn't make sense to do multiple shoots if I can't even afford to buy the pictures itself. it cost 300 dollars to actually buy the pictures, where the session is barely even a fourth of what you pay, at this point go get you pictures done somewhere else if you actually want to print them, and only do it if your required to take the year book pictures. read more

As a parent of a HS senior we were required to go to the studio for the graduation pictures- the appointment was very specific and sounded safe and COVID- regulated. But when we got there we were assigned a time with 10 other students and their parents, re- using the same caps and gowns and portrait clothes. Also one family had four adults when it was specifically stated 1 per family- unsafe, dressing rooms constantly used and not cleaned after each use- a complete mess! read more

We were told that we needed to use Cady for Senior portraits for our son. Believing that it would be a better deal, I opted for the $199 Elite package that promised $200 in merchandise upon order. We were told once at the studio that we would have to return for cap and gown pics. We did, and as we were waiting to go into the studio 45 min from home, we got a call cancelling the session with no warning, but we did receive multiple texts to remind us to come. We were told we could reschedule or go to the school to get them. We opted to do it when they were at the school. Fast forward.to about 2 weeks after cap & gowns at the school. We get a paper from our son stating that we must return the portfolio within the allotted time, or place an order over $399 to get to keep the 8 picture portfolio. We begin getting shipment notifications and await arrival. It arrives with nothing inside! I call to question, and am told it was a mistake. The Elite package called for an in person viewing. No problem, I schedule that and we go once again to the studio. I am shown the pictures with a heart-wrenching video, and after that I receive a flyer with pricing. With the high end being over $3000, I had to opt for a lower priced package of $499+tax that included only 1 pose. No one can seem to explain the logic of 1 pose for a total of over $700 (sitting fee+package) at the studio & approx $450 for 8 pose portfolio + package pose. I am very frustrated and would not recommend this racket to anyone! read more

The photographers and my son's pictures were amazing BUT I will tell everyone I can get one of the cheaper setting fee packages. When you get the favorite or above you don't have access to viewing your pics online. You have to set an appointment and view in studio or via zoom. During this meeting you have to determine what you want. Verses lower packages get portfolio sent with all 40 or 50 pics taken proof (mind you doesn't say proof) and have weeks to review and buy what they want and send back proofs. Then comes Black Friday and my friends who bought lower cost sessions were sent a coupon to buy the disc or drive for $199. This is regularly $800 or $900. When I called in to ask why I didn't get that I was told bc package I bought. I said so because I bought the "better more expensive session" I get worse coupons and deal options. I am supposed to be getting a call from a senior supervisor in next 24 to 48 hours to talk and explain why me not being offered this better deal. On short buy cheap sessions and wait for your amazing deal options. read more

Such a frustrating experience, every. single. time. Their website is glitchy and not user-friendly. 2x now it has glitched and ordered double of one picture and not the other picture that I wanted. They state every sale is final, even when it is their mistake. I ate it the first time. Now when it happened again, no way. Once they tried to correct the double charge, they wanted to charge me extra shipping for the orignial item in the order that should have been shipped together in the first place when I made my order. My son is a senior, so the school has been using Cady for the past 4 years. Annoying #2 I can't ever get logged into my account and calling them did zero. #3 They are WAY too expensive read more
