WARNING! ‼‼‼ Don't be fooled by the good reviews. I failed by not reading and just looking at the amount of "5 stars" they had. They aggressively ask parents to leave a five-star rating during the session, repeatedly checking in to see if it's been done and even asking to see proof. We chose the Elite package and honestly regret it. The session lasted over six hours, and my daughter ended up skipping several scenes because it was just too much. I paid over $1000 for a package. When we received the prints, every image had "CADY" branded in the bottom right corner. So we have photos of our daughter on the wall with CADY written on it. The $200 credit they advertise only applies to certain packages. ASK WHAT PACKAGES. CADY is sneaky. They won't give you the prices until after your session. I'll post the CADY brochure here when I get home. They also promise free digital image within 30 days of your session, but what they don't mention upfront is that you must attend an in-person appointment that costs $50 so the "free" digital isn't really free. If we could do it over, we would have chosen the most basic package just to get the yearbook photo done and then had senior pictures taken elsewhere. I believe all the digitals on a USB were around $1,800. I've seen plenty of senior photos taken outside of CADY that looked better. CADY is outdated and their photos has a JCPENNY feel. The photos displayed at their studio and on their website were taken by extremely experienced photographers and they are not done by the photographers that are currently there shooting the Senior photos. If your Senior wants hair and make up I highly recommend your getting a wash and style at a local salon and having makeup done elsewhere like Sephora. What frustrated me the most was the in-person presentation. After paying for that appointment, they forced us to choose our package and photos on the spot. I even offered to select and pay for the package right there but take time to finalize our photo choices with family, yet they wouldn't allow it. There was no option to go home and decide. To top it off, the frame we received came damaged, and, as I mentioned earlier, all the prints have "CADY" branding in the corner. We ended up paying over $1,000 for products branded with their logo. How is it that school pictures have gotten to be so ridiculously expensive? Beginning with the 1st step of booking a session. The website is not user friendly, doesn't explain in detail the various sessions and packages available and to make a change, FORGET ABOUT IT! We booked the "most popular" session because that was the only time we could get. I asked several different employees the day of regarding the purchase of pictures and received different answers from each person. I do not have the time to come back to their studio for a "presentation" of photos and to face the high pressure ordering process. I just want to be able to purchase a small package of prints and a few digital downloads. I was told that you cannot purchase individual digital downloads unless you purchase the thumb drive for $900. This is not a wedding, this is completely ridiculous and offensive. I wish that my sons school would change their company. My other son went to a different school and his graduation pictures were easy, not a whole production and certainly very reasonable. High pressure sales, intimidation, photographers with no experience, a cattle line of students all at the same time, ridiculously high priced packages starting at a low 900.00 to 2,500.00, this is not a wedding! PSA: their price doubled in one year as my daughter was a senior last year and I still have all the paperwork! Their new packages also have less quantity of pictures and doubled the price! Very disappointed that our school district chose this studio for senior photos. I smell kickbacks. Just received our cap and gown photos. Photos were taken back in July. You pay for the formal portraits then have to pay again for cap and gown shots. SCAM!!!The only way to describe our experience was like walking into a factory. CADY uses very deceptive policies like the whole "bait & switch" game. We spent $2k+ and left without one printed picture and no cap & gown photos (that is an ADDITIONAL fee). They are awful. Despite so many negative reviews, we had a decent experience here for my daughter's senior portraits. But that is because I knew exactly what I wanted and nothing more. In order to get your picture in her HS yearbook, you must use CADY to do that. I did not want a whole series of senior pictures since we always take pictures and don't need 10 of her posing. Maybe I'll have a different opinion, once I get the actual photo (with retouching) but right now I'm satisfied. They were very accommodating and even when their internet went out and we had to wait awhile for the cap and gown part, the manager pulled me aside and gave me a monetary credit to make up for it (I will use it for my son who is also in HS but in a lower grade). I also have to laugh that they want you to valet park - practically every spot has a marking on it saying it is for this business or that business but we found one that said nothing - and that was perfect. read more

The pictures are wonderful but they allow the children (ie: my 17 year old) to make decisions on packages even though we have to pay for them. It's very misleading and not right. Kids will always request the best services available because they sound good. My next child will get a private photographer and will only do the senior pictures that are needed for the yearbook here. read more

Our experience with this company was bad right from the start! First they make you pay to have your child's photo taken, no prints with it, just to take their photo, which you have to do in order to be in the school yearbook. They do not do this for underclassmen, just seniors. We made an appointment, apparently with 50 other people, and after waiting about 30 minutes for them to take one photo, had to wait another hour to take a second photo in cap and gown. The appointment was useless. The worse part is that to get two photo sheets (one 8x10 and one of wallets), they were $50 per sheet! But even worse than the price, they plastered their company logo on the front of the photos! For $50, they couldn't have printed a professional photo without their logo on the front? When I called to complain, they said too bad. They said if you want a print without their logo, you have to pay even more for a digital copy and then pay to get it printed somewhere. So basically, you pay $50 for them to print one photo sheet and have to deal with their company logo on the front. I hope more schools will refuse to work with this very unprofessional company. read more

I have to say, I'm quite disgusted and disappointed with this company. When I booked my session, I was told that everything was included in my purchasing package, but I was completely shocked when we finished our session and were told we needed to schedule a day to come back to not only review the pictures but pick which package we wanted to purchase. When our session was booked, and we spoke with customer service, they told us that everything was included within the package that we purchased, which was the photo shoot as well as the pictures and studio time. Now here we are wondering how we're going to afford to buy the pictures that were taken when we already thought that's they was purchased during our payment at the time of booking. The wording that they choose during the process of picking your package is a complete scam and puts your back against the wall. When the session was initially booked, we asked what the minimal package was and if they had an option for just the senior pictures, they told us no and that the most minimal package was their most popular package, so that's what we went with. After speaking to an employee at CADay, we were told that a big percentage of the company's complaints from customers is that they were given misleading information like us. As a single parent, my heart breaks for my daughter because we will likely only be able to afford the senior picture and not the rest of the package that we thought we purchased. We spent about four hours at the studio, paid for a babysitter for the babies while we were there and got a sneak peek preview of pictures that are out of our budget. Would we have known and given accurate information during the process we would've only purchased the package for the senior picture. read more

I budgeted $400.00 to spend for prints and images but only spent $200.00 because I would rather burn my cash in the yard than give it to a company that operates like Cady. To give them credit where credit is due my daughter very much enjoyed her Elite session. She did not finish at her regular high school of MSD (a school shooting will do this) and she missed prom etc. I wanted her to have a special day of attention and looking pretty. The hair, makeup, and photoshoot were all fantastic. Her photographer was very sweet. Wish I could remember her name. Cady's modus operandi seems to make you happy on the front end while taking the photos and then try squeeze as much money as possible out of you. I wouldn't call it a rip off or a scam but it's close. Their prices are unreasonable. I really don't understand why a company would do business this way when they could operate fairly. Their scheduling to view proofs is atrocious. They make appointments for you that can only be rescheduled within a two week period whether or not you can make the appointment. So, I had to constantly reschedule the appointment they required for you to view proofs. They will do it by Zoom but only after a fight. Ridiculous! When I finally agreed to do the appointment by Zoom they tried to sell me one image for $200 plus tax. Really? So, I had to tolerate another painful presentation with these people where they finally offered three images for $200. Good grief. In summery. I would avoid this company. Upon inquiring why my sons senior portraits were not retouched as I requested. Via email only, I received the response that Artists Touch ($20.00) brightens the color of the portrait, doesn't remove blemishes or crop or frame the shot properly. Since this is my fourth child to get senior portraits, I've seen better practices. This company routinely overcharges and price gouges for extremely low quality products and all customer service representatives are flippant and cavalier about the company policies and prices.   Furthermore, there are NEVER any discounts offered.  I've never seen a company with such abysmal customer service practices and zero incentives. Given the fact that they have the entire high school population held captive, it's atrocious to see what they charge for the shoddy work they deliver.  A professionally retouched set  of  photos should be part and parcel of what a senior portrait photographer delivers.  Not yet another upsell.   My experience at Prestige Portraits was infinitely better as the photos were modestly priced properly framed and blemish free. I loathe being forced to use Cady's careless, greedy, untalented company.  I highly advise you to inquire if you can get your child's photos taken by a more professional photographer with a more transparent pricing structure. read more

I joined CADY as a Business Development Representative excited to represent a reputable school photography company in my hometown of Miami. I was especially enthusiastic about being the new face of senior photography and was assured that a studio would be opened in a safe, convenient, and appealing location -- something I communicated confidently to schools across the region. After more than six months of outreach and relationship-building, I was shocked to learn that the proposed studio location was far from what had been promised. Instead, the address being included in school bids was in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Miami -- ranked #4 in crime -- situated next to a gun shop, liquor store, and a dirt lot used as parking. This location was neither safe nor acceptable for students, families, or school staff. This felt not only like a betrayal of trust -- both mine and the schools' -- but also a strategic misrepresentation. The "Miami studio" I had been confidently selling to schools was never truly under consideration. I later learned that the real plan was to funnel students to a Miramar location or conduct sessions on school campuses, which was never disclosed to me during the hiring process or initial onboarding. Despite my dedication, once I gave notice of my resignation, I was asked not to return and was denied the opportunity to complete my two-week notice professionally. Additionally, employees are required to sign a non-compete agreement that restricts working for another school photography company for three years, making it difficult for professionals to continue in their field. To make matters worse, I was not the first to face such issues -- I was reportedly the fourth or fifth representative in just two years for the Miami market. In my experience, CADY has not demonstrated a true understanding of the unique needs of Miami's schools or communities, which ultimately hurt the very relationships I worked so hard to build. read more

My younger sister had a wonderful time with them and felt very comfortable. I would give this experience a 5/5 but I can't due to Mary-Kate. Were told that even though we booked an ELITE PLUS PACKAGE that said "location of our choice" that we couldn't go the places we wanted because we didn't buy the most expensive package? Ripoff! I visited Delray Beach location today with my daughter for her yearbook photos. This year they are using complimentary valet, so the parking situation is under control. The whole session was 30 minute long, but my daughter did choose the simple package. There was barely any people there today, being 10.00am and Tuesday morning (voting day on top of it), but we did take all of that in consideration when scheduling an appointment, since last year I spent good 2.5 hours with my son on the same session. All of the employees were very nice and friendly making it really enjoyable experience not just for the kids but for the parents too. read more

our experience today at Cady was AMAZING!! Our photographer JP was on point with all the pictures he took. He brought out a side in my son we weren't used to seeing. I thought it was going to be a struggle getting the pictures taken but JP did a great job and took such outstanding pics!! JP took the time to make sure we were satisfied with the results of the pictures and made the experience fun and enjoyable. I couldn't be happier with how our experience went and recommend JP for anyone looking to have their photos taken by an awesome photographer. Their packages are priced so wrong and unfair and If you want digital images, they are going to charge you $1,500.00 and this DOESN'T include the prom & graduation photos. I'd recommend the cheaper sitting fee and they'll send your yearbook photo included for that price, then go elsewhere for your actual photos to keep at a much more reasonable price! Unfortunately this is my second time having to use them since all the schools in Broward County have been monopolized to use this one company for senior photos. BOTH TIMES my kids photos have come out extremely overpriced and the quality is complete garbage. They photoshopped my sons teeth to be so white it was comical because it looked like he had chiklets in his mouth. Then when we were forced to used them a second time for my daughter her photoshop included heavy makeup and blurry prints. Word of advice: ONLY do the senior headshot that will be used in the yearbook and hire your OWN photographer for the photos you want to keep. I have 2 more to go through school and this company won't get another dime from me. Another heads up- the more you pay for your photo session- the more you will pay for your photo package. You would think that everyone pays the same for the prints but NOPE!
