Actually had a really good experience. Everyone seemed professional and was very kind and friendly. (Especially a dude who had a dreads and used a cool style of making people smiling. By breathing in and exhaling. It worked!) read more

So so so very expensive. The cheapest senior pictures package is $145 and that comes with hardly anything. The portfolio is $179 but will drop to $99 if you buy it with a package. Never again will I use them. I asked family if they could chip in the cost was $496. Go to a professional... They'll be better quality and cheaper. read more

I would NOT recommend this studio. There was NO sanitation between my kid wearing a Formal or Cap and Gown outfit that was obviously worn by many before. We had to ask for assistance to just get a picture taken at one of their 'stations.' We were told that only one person could go back with each kid. When I went back, there were kids with 3 people back there with them. We were told that masks were mandatory, which I wore, but there were parents that did NOT have a mask on in the studio. We were told NOT to take pictures, but there were parents that they turned a blind eye to the cell pics they took. This was a herd mentality. There were so many people in that studio that I was extremely uncomfortable. For the price we paid for just a sitting, I would expect that we wouldn't have so many in the building at the same time. Just send the yearbook pic in. I DO NOT plan on adding to your bottom line. There's NO WAY I would ever do business with them again. I don't normally post reviews. I made an exception this time. At the end of our visit, we got a half hearted 'How was your visit? Here's a card. Give us a good review.' You should have thought of that before you dropped the ball. I was asked by someone in charge, 'He's not very photogenic, huh?' Not a comment you expect from a manger or owner. Update: I have taken two calls from this company with apologies and requests to correct. Our experience hasn't changed. I'm not the type to look for a free product/service. All I ask is that you update your business practices so that someone else doesn't feel compelled to give a similar review. read more

Stephanie is rude and should really change her attitude and have patience when trying to sell. Overall experience was blah

DO NOT GO TO THIS STUDIO!!! My nieces school made them go to this studio to have senior pictures made. When they got to the studio the studio didn't have cap and gowns in all sizes. The only size they had was small. Let's face it people. (Everybody in this world isn't a size 2-3) They did have a lady that tried to help pin the gown so the pictures could be made but when my niece went out to have her pictures made the photographer(young boy that didn't look like he knew anything about photography to begin with) stated to her in front of everyone, "That's not going to work! I can't take these pictures if you can't find a gown that will zip up on you!" He said this very rudely and in front of everyone that was standing around waiting to get pictures made. Needless to say this was very embarrassing to my niece and should have NEVER happened to her!! This is a time she should have enjoyed and made memories and instead it has scared her. I pray not for life not because of someone's stupidity! I blame this studio for being so unprofessional and how they handled the entire situation. BOTTOM LINE, DO NOT LET YOU CHILD BE SCARED BY THIS PLACE. THE PICTURES YOU GET FROM THEM IN RETURN ARE NOT GOING TO BE WORTH THE RISK. read more

Y'all parents better RUN from this place!! Way overpriced, HORRIBLE pixilated quality. Scam alert!! Hire a real photographer! Schools need to stop using this crappy place. Ridiculously priced too. read more

Such a ripoff place!!! Please dont get your pictures done here. Save your money and get a local professional photographer instead. You will get a lot more with someone local instead of these guys. You think you are paying for several photos, but you dont get any until you pay for their package which runs $495 for only 8 small photos. What you pay initially is only for them to do the shoot and use their prompts. Then you have to pay more to actually have the photos in your possession. Stay away!!!! read more

As a professional photographer myself I tried to sit back and relax and let someone else take care of my son's senior photos but over $1000 and 2 months later unfortunately that was a big mistake. Horrible lighting and posing skills. They couldn't seem to figure out how to take photos of my son with his glasses on without horrible glares so he did all his photos without his glasses. The photographers themselves were pleasant but their skill levels seemed less than adequate for a "professional" studio. From the print products we've received so far (still waiting on the rest of our order) the photos are out of focus and my son's skin is as red as a lobster. Still waiting on a response to if they can fix that. My advice, just take the required yearbook photo that you have to and hire a private professional photographer to do your child's senior photos. read more

Photos are pricey and not worth the lowest package. My son wears glasses and the flash is reflected in his glasses. In an effort to get a quality photo, you have to pay an arm, two legs, four teeth and both eyes. All the pictures I have seen looks dark and sinister almost forcing you to do the enhancements. I took a better picture with my Android and 3D editor. Y'all need to do better. read more

Unfortunately have had a terrible experience from day one. We were encouraged in April to make our appointments for senior pictures early before things get busy in the summer. I tried a total of 13 times to book my session online, but every single time the site glitched. I tried different days, different times of day, etc. When I sent a request for help, no one got back with me for over a week. After going back and forth, finally had to call in for an appointment, and was scheduled for the end of June. Fast forward 2 months. We've received regular emails reminding us of the appointment. Even received an email and text the day of the appointment. When we arrive, they can't find us in the computer system ANYWHERE. I show them the text and email. They say, "those don't count." What? We get the pictures done. What the website states will take 15 minutes takes over an hour and a half. I'm losing time at work and becoming more frustrated. They put a SIM card with my son's pictures in a ziplock bag with a scrap of paper with his name written on it. Never asked us for phone number, email address, nada. Two weeks later, guess what DOESN'T show up in the mail? Yup. His proofs. It's now been 6 weeks since the session and they still can't find them. I ask for a refund. They say, "you have to ask the studio manager." I ask when the hours are for the studio. They say, "We won't give them to you unless you make an appointment for a retake session." WHAT? If this wasn't my son's senior year, and if it wasn't a big deal, I would skip the whole shebang. From a customer side, this company is terrible to work with. I can't say anything about the photos because after 6 weeks, THEY STILL CAN'T FIND THEM. Makes me angry that the schools mandate you get your photos here. North Paulding, you could do better! read more

They are not even worth 1 star. They are over priced and do not even know how to take pictures. There are way better and cheaper options outside. Learned my lesson and will not go with my second child. Will try my best to make people aware as much as I can. RIP OFF. SERIOUSLY RIP OFF read more

Our school used them for spring pics which did not offer make up or reshoot opportunity. There is an ongoing thread on the school page of all the parents that did not receive what they paid for. In my case I did not receive the digital order I paid for and also my kids photo looks like he's in pain not even close to a smile and it is one picture that they made close up and then in black and white for the "4 shots". They took one lousy shot and refuse to retake or refund and have not addressed the fact I have not received the order. I don't know why our school hired them after seeing the reviews on this page but seriously these people should not be doing school orders. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place. It's ridiculous how much the packages cost. We don't have family members to give pics to so therefore I only need a couple for us to keep. The cost to purchase just two pictures is almost the amount to buy the portfolio. Not only that, I have the portfolio here with me and when I went to order and pay for it online, I was being charged for shipping. I emailed the company and haven't heard anything back, now I'm on hold (which is apparently 30 to 40 minutes). Schools need to find another studio. read more

This place was a mess and extremely crowded. The layout is nice but they should consider students don't like to take pictures while 50 other people watch, many were uncomfortable. Then the lines, no organization, just people everywhere even though all had appointments. The photographers and staff were nice but overworked. It was a mess of a photography session for my senior. I wouldn't go there again. read more

If you want your senior to have a true experience, get a true photographer (cost around $500-$700 and get all of your photos, no BS). We paid $200 for an elite session, had no clue this did not include pictures. We were there for 3 hours taking pictures then scheduled a second appointment to come back (45 commute) to view said pictures and purchase a package. The set up is like a time-share sell. After picking out the pics that we liked, we learn that the $200 and $500 packages only include ONE POSE!!! ONE FREAKING POSE! We then asked if we could buy the portfolio which would at least have 8 pics on the page and were told that it costs $200 but you can only buy it with one of the packages upwards of $700! My daughter took great pics but too bad we will never see them because of these ridiculous ass prices and her senior photo experience is ruined. Thanks a lot Cady and Cobb County for roping us in with these jokers! read more

When a company is professional and full of creative talent, you can leave a positive review and think nothing of it. But when a company is able to correct their mistakes with integrity and respect for the customer's experience, that's when you know your review is worth leaving. I greatly appreciate how much the entire CADY staff (we engaged with) were attentive, accommodating, and supportive problem-solvers. But I am here to specifically leave a review for photographers, Emma van derHoeven and Brady Hill. Although we had to return from an hour away due to the studio not having her high school's cap and gown accessories (which was frustrating, inconvenient, and the only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars), we are so happy we were able to come back and do it better and right. When we brought to their attention that their lighting on her from the day before was unforgiving, they allowed her to retake her yearbook shots without any issues. They provided a second-day experience for my sister and family that will make us feel excited about her graduating all year long. Brady's willingness to hop in from the start (from him figuring out the correct lighting settings for her beautiful, rich, Black skin tone, to him diffusing the smokescreen by hand, he provided an experience that Emma picked up and ran with by snapping and directing INCREDIBLE pictures. She took so many shots, offered so many affirmations, and did whatever needed to be done to perfectly capture my sister's beautiful and stylish senior photo shoot. read more

Do NOT use Cady Studios for your child's senior pictures. I paid $500 for my son's pictures with no digital pictures included, they messed up which pictures were to be displayed in the yearbook, they would keep me on hold for what felt like forever, and then when I received my $500 pictures, the top of my son's head was cut off. Abysmal customer service and pictures taken by young kids. It's the "Picture People" of senior pictures except that Picture People is very affordable. It's plain and simple a racket for parents who don't realize there are many other options. For my second son, we paid around $200 for hundreds of digital pictures with a private photography and had individual attention. Just don't do it!!!! read more

What a rip off!! We were just charged $200 for not returning the portfolio in time! What? Where was that information? None of us received an email, a letter, a text message or phone call. The portfolio is probably a $10 item at Walmart! Seriously!! My husband called and there are no exceptions... boom! Its late... you owe! Well, when its time for my son to have graduation pictures taken, this will be a " heck no! " company. The high schools should really take note too... this is a scam!!!! Photographers were unprofessional, photo session was rushed and unorganized. The proof of the rush job when I received the proofs, I was forced to purchase a portfolio that looks horrible. They refused to give me a refund, I tried return the portfolio and was told that I couldn't get a refund but a credit for the more pictures. The cap and gown was worse than the yearbook pictures and casual pictures. I don't want anymore pictures from them, now I have to hire another photographer to capture my son's Senior moments the right way. I ordered my son's senior pic's and their prices are RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. I PAID $75 for a sitting fee and $400 for 3 settings and this price does not include his( cap and gown pic). They emailed me saying that the cap and gown pic's will not come out to spring of next year, who know what this price is going to be. THIS IS VERY SAD THAT SCHOOLS USE COMPANIES LIKE THIS. It's almost as if we are forced to purchase these pic's in order for our kids to be featured in the school yearbook. I wished I had read the reviews first otherwise I would not have paid for the pic's. read more

Every picture I get from this company is horrible it's like they hire kids or adults who could care les, they charge a fortune and then they require you to get retouched photos or the high school photos look like they are super imposed!!! I am a student at a high school and the photographer was being so rude to me and my friends trying to get ready for our picture. They had planned to finish before 2nd period which I don't blame them for trying to finish fast, however being rude and having a stank attitude was not necessary. My picture came out TERRIBLE and genuinely I just don't like the environment and the vibes from that photographer. My friend says that they need to be kinder and give more time to actually pose for the pictures. I don't know the name of the photographer but I remember her attitude. read more

Unfortunately, CADY is the company that my kids school uses for school pictures. I've learned (after speaking to about 10-15 other people), that they don't know how to photograph students who wear glasses. There's an awful glare and you can barely see my daughters eyes. I'm no professional, but I do know there are several simple ways to help reduce glare. Unfortunately, we do order pictures each school year because the grandparents like to receive them. I've learned my lesson and will never order the ones from them again. For future school years, I'll take my kids someplace else to have pictures made....especially for Senior photos. I contacted them via email several days ago to see what their thoughts were, but still haven't heard back from them. I tried calling, but the message said the wait time was "over 1 hour". And now, apparently the picture make up day has already passed as well. If your child doesn't wear glasses, then CADY is fine to deal with. read more

Schools make you go to Cady Studio for seniors pictures. Why? All but one of the photographers seemed inexperienced and the pictures show it. Almost every picture taken was unusable. We defaulted to the one we could stand but even it has an earring caught in her hair and sticking out oddly. I have requested repeatedly to have a photo shop correction made and they just will not do what they say they will do. 3-4 attempts with customer service has been a complete waste of time! We have had the worst customer service with this company. Quality is not there. And yet SOMEHOW these jerks have the entire school system on lock. You are not given a choice at all. Why are all the area schools doing business with this company? Extremely important to a student that their SENIOR PICTURE is decent - the people at Cady don't care at all. They do care about getting your money - over priced and terrible as they are. Incredible to think how much money this company is making off atlanta area families. Shame on Cady. read more

Our middle school, Elkins Pointe, used this photography studio to take the kids' photos. I purchased a package online, but the photo we received was only a proof and it had the wrong student's name on it. The teachers at the school figured out who the proof belong to and sent it home with our son. I did not receive the pictures that we ordered. I have contacted the studio twice online but have received no response to one of my emails and the second email stated only that all pictures were sent to the school for disbursement. They have been very unhelpful and in my opinion have poor customer service. They even sent me an online survey asking how I felt about the resolution of my concerns, and although I responded that the issue was not resolved, I received no response from them. read more

Worst photographers ever. When I think of them, besides disgust at how grossly terrible they are at their jobs...I think they must have hands like Hanson from Scary Movie II...This is the only way I can justify taking the awful pictures that they do. The cost for these pictures are expensive and conveniently nonrefundable. Most studios send proofs first and then you have the option to buy. These are the studios that are confident in their work. I think Bady Cady knows they suck and that's why they request the money upfront. In the future, at any school my niece or nephew attends, if Cady Kids/Cady Studios are providing the photographers it will be an IMMEDIATE no. My nephew has taken wonderful pictures through the studios that his daycare has chosen. The daycare teachers themselves have taken better pictures. This studio? The first session, my nephew looked like he was in the beginning stages of crying. (Which annoyed me in and of itself) The retake...no one bothered to wipe his face (the elementary school staff OR the photographer). Cameron has slight stains around his mouth, isn't smiling, and is standing ramrod straight like he's taking a mug shot!! I know it can be hard to work with young children and get them to stay still. I also know that it's POSSIBLE because my nephew HAS taken better pictures. Cady Studios obviously has ZERO ability to connect with kids or make them laugh. The kids section of their studio should not only be shut down but destroyed and the remnants sent to outer space. read more

WHAT A BLOODY JOKE OF A COMPANY! What these clowns do is go out and sell schools on a deal. The school tells students and parents that the only way they can get the student's senior picture in the school's year book is to use Cady Studios. So we are forced to pay absurd prices so the school can get major kickbacks. What that means is Cady pays for a monopoly with that school. This morning, I called the corporate office (the only way to get to anyone) and was told the studio would be open from 9:30 to 6:30. I arrived at 9:40. Lights were out and not a soul in sight. I called corporate. They had no clue and really couldn't care less. I waited for 30 min - no one showed. I left. When I got back to my office I called corporate and wanted to be notified when someone actually showed up at the store. I was finally connected to the Acworth store. The young lady claimed she had a slow tire leak that had to be fixed, that's why she was late. So I asked how late she would be there today - "I have my last appointment at 4:00 so I'll be leaving about 4:30." What the hell happened to being open 9:30 to 6:30. Not only do they have the arrogance of a monopoly, the "manager" of this store cares not for customer service. It was suggested that I make an appointment so I could pick-up product that we have already paid for. If you are forced to use these clowns go to principle of your school and complain - then complain to whomever is above them. These people pay for the privilege of ripping us off. Don't we pay enough in school taxes and/or if its a private school, don't we pay enough for tuition over and above taxes. The schools should not participate in mandating an extra tax / profit and require students and parents to use a company like this who cares nothing for their hostage customers. I am being forced by Yelp to give a one-star review because they do not allow zero stars. But I would if I could. read more

Worse Pictures ever! Horrible Photographers... Complete waste of money! SCAM go somewhere else.

Discovered we should have used a one-on one professional photographer. From what we saw and per the reviews online - just a lot of high school / college students operating and running this entire business. Blown out - overly bright photos, filthy props, a lot of chit-chatting amongst employees, and twice the norm on prices - stay away. After taking very amateur photos, they charge extra to edit the photos to correct glasses glare and other basic light and color issues that should have been avoided in the first place when the shots were taken - that is IN ADDITION TO and AFTER paying up front for touch ups when you choose your pkg. Regretfully, the photos are so poor that I plan to try to edit them myself. It will set me back $800. just for the usb drive they sell with the photos on them. Most professional photographers take nearly perfect photos in - camera, edit them free of charge, and offer the flash drive of all photos for closer to half that price. Prints from Cady are more than over-priced. For only ONE single image (3 sheets of mixed size prints), prepare to pay around $500! Add your pkg. fee you paid before even setting foot inside this kiddie facility, and a few prints ( most minimal pkgs), and you will find your bill well over $1,000. Yeah - could have, should have gone to an actual professional photographer, instead. read more

This company is not very good. They are the ones doing senior pics for our HS this year. I was not looking forward to it because all bad experiences in the past. I have tried for 2 weeks to go on website to book session but the website is so slow I have not been able to do that yet. Tried calling Acworth location no one answers. I should not be surprised in the past they have not once but twice send us the wrong photos, I mean the pics of the wrong student!!, and it took 3 times to get them correct, so not a good track record for me and several others I know said the same. read more

If I could give Cady Studios a zero rating I would...they are professional rip-off artists. Like other reviews stated, the photo quality is indefensible for the price point - grainy and old-school phone photo quality. But what's worse is their unethical business practice of sending unnecessary portfolio proofs in the hope that you will not return in time so they can charge you $200. In my case I did send back my portfolio by the due date and thought all was well until six months later when my credit card was charged for the portfolio they claim I never returned. No notification, no inquiry, no forewarning that they were going to hit my card. So unprofessional and desperate to cash in on the most important times in a family's life. I've asked for a refund three times and still get the runaround. I have to resort to a credit card chargeback. Do not use Cady for your senior photos! I plan to petition my school to find new photography studio. Definitely going to use a private photographer for graduation. read more

Horrible experience! There were not enough appointments at the school for all the seniors to have their portraits done. Their studio is over an hour drive from our home. My grandson had, at that time, practice every afternoon and Raiders meets on Saturdays which made it impossible to make an appointment. I finally got an appointment at the "last call" for him at the school. I was told that the picture package would arrive at our home and we could choose which one would be put in the yearbook. Also we would choose which pictures we wanted to keep, mail back the rest and only pay for the ones we wanted to keep. I NEVER HEARD A WORD FROM THEM! Finally, I called them only to find out that the picture was chosen by them to go in the yearbook, which doesn't even look like him and no portraits would be sent out to us even though I had to pay a $30 sitting fee just to have a horrible picture of him put in the yearbook! The customer service girl that I was talking to was not even concerned and just said to call the school about getting it changed. When I called them I was told it would cost $300 to have it changed. So I guess his picture will stay like it is. My grandson said that all his friends were complaining about the quality of the photos anyway so I guess it's just as well. Portraits of him will be done elsewhere. By the way they are being sued for posting a picture on the internet of a girl at the homecoming dance with her breasts exposed. It was a major dress malfunction. The picture was posted either because no one really looked at the pictures or either they thought it to be funny. Cady Studios for Senior pictures are the worse. First, only two out of ten of the formal pictures taken looked good. Second, their backdrops are a little cheesy. Third, they up the charge on their packages just because your child is a Senior by over 150%. The cheapest package for a Senior yearbook picture is $145 for hardly nothing.
