Stopped in for drinks before a concert..first time here! Beer was cold and servers were attentive and friendly! Caddy Shack is a well-known and enjoyed local bar in Kansas City. You can find this sports bar in the River Market area. There is some seating inside as well as a large outdoor patio with TV's to watch your favorite sports game. Start your experience off with a cold beverage and complimentary popcorn for your table. I love spots with complimentary items like popcorn! Along with great drinks and popcorn, you can order sandwiches, burgers, chicken tenders, appetizers, and very cheesy pizza. This is a great spot to go with friends and watch a game or chill outside on the patio. Add this spot to your KC bucket list today!

The pizza was delicious (meat pizza) but the beer tasted like the tap lines hadn't been cleaned for a while. Bartender women are nice and efficient, but sure like doing shots.

We came to the Caddy Shack to order some items to go since they are open late including the kitchen! Inside it truly looks like a dive bar, but not in a bad way. They had a good amount of people in there, and a small line for to go orders. Food: We had a Large meat lovers pizza and tater tots. I mean look at the picture... the pizza was just as good as it looks! I appreciated that it wasn't drowning in red sauce, but had toppings on toppings! Even though we took it to go.. we both had a slide before getting back in the car lol Service: We were immediately greeted and offered menus! Once one waitress left another one came and asked if we needed anything. Then, we ordered and the bartender came over to make sure we were good and taken care of! I can definitely see that they pride themselves in service, which I believe is the reason they had so many people in there at 12am ! I will be back to try other items when I can't find food after 11pm in KC!

I probably would have never visited Caddy Shack if my wife's hair stylist, who is located in the Little Italy neighborhood, hadn't told her that their Neapolitan pizza is the best in the city. This is a classic neighborhood dive bar where you expect good food, drinks and fun. Well, within 10 minutes of our arrival on Saturday, a brawl broke out in the bar. Some dude had been drinking alone for most of the afternoon and started to show some attitude. After a few WWE bodyslams into the wall, he was escorted out. The manager later came over and apologized for the scene, saying that rarely happens. Most of the Yelp reviews told us to order the Meat Lover's pizza, but we were super pleased by the Supreme, with Pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushroom, red onion and green pepper. Beyond the incomparable thin crust, is the sweet tomato sauce, which some have described as spaghetti sauce. When we return, we might order something with less toppings to really appreciate the crust and sauce. But before the pizza arrived, we tried an order of the hot wings. Last week we dined at Al's in Parkville and said they had the best wings in town. I'm taking the championship belt and awarding it to Caddy Shack. As my wife commented, the place is small, and when the food is ready, it comes out pronto. That made those wings taste even better. This place has a following, be it baby boomers, bikers or millennials. We can't wait to come back!

Do you serve liquor here or just wine/beer?

They serve all kinds of adult beverages, however they may not do certain specialty cocktails.

    Do they deliver?

Yes! They do deliver but I'm not certain about how far away they go.

With Restaurant Week kicking off, my wife and I finally headed down to NKC to check out this longtime local favorite - a bar, bistro and sports memorabilia museum all rolled into one. When you walk in, prepare for sensory overload. The walls and ceilings are packed with hundreds of college and pro football helmets, banners and framed memorabilia. Heck, there's even a Babe Ruth autographed baseball. It's equal parts sports bar and museum. I honestly wished they had an app or QR codes you could scan to learn the backstory behind everything. It feels a little awkward wandering around staring at the walls while nursing a beer, but there's so much to take in. We made a reservation, but it quickly became clear one wasn't necessary that night. A few patrons were at the bar, and a handful of tables were occupied in the side dining room. The vibe was relaxed and unhurried - easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. The menu is broad and familiar, with just about any bar-food craving covered. Our server recommended the deep-fried portobello mushrooms and fried pickles. We were in an onion ring mood, so we went that route. They arrived hot and crispy - solid and satisfying, though not especially memorable. In hindsight, I wish I'd ordered the loaded potato skins, which are an all-time favorite of mine. For entrees, the burger and sandwich lineup is strong, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable. The London Broil and KC Strip both looked excellent and tempting enough to justify a return visit. I opted for something lighter and ordered the Super BLT, which turned out to be a standout. The thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon was the star - perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor. Kayla, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel right at home. Between the food, the memorabilia and the laid-back atmosphere, Chappell's feels like one of those places you wonder how you overlooked for so long - especially if you're a sports fan.

A friend of mine and I went for dinner on a busy Saturday night. The girl who seated us was wonderful and immediately bussed a table so we could sit right away. Our server was great too. She was very attentive, took our orders properly. That was all that went well. My dinner companion ordered chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and I ordered a 323 burger. Her order arrived with regular fries, no problem, the sweet potato fries were brought out promptly. The other issue was her tenders were overcooked. Our waitress brought her a slice of chocolate cake which she wasn't terribly fond of as she is a pastry chef. My burger didn't taste right and I was tired so I got mine to go. Upon arrival at home, I realized why it tasted funny. It had sloppy joe on it which was a completely different burger than what I had ordered. I did telephone to let them know this had happened and they were very nice about it, but I have to say that after this experience, I likely will not be back. I do not fully hold the servers responsible for the failings, but I do hold the line cooks and line prep responsible. They should have checked those orders before they went out to the table. I am actually terribly upset about this as I do love Chappell's (their cajun pasta is my go to), but getting the food wrong twice is a deal breaker for me.

The service continues to be inconsistent at best--no patio service, long waits, and a general lack of attentiveness--but what's most frustrating is the latest beverage and menu decision. You can no longer order a single glass of wine. Instead, guests are now forced into purchasing a half bottle as the minimum entry point--starting around $25--for a very limited and underwhelming selection (Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc... and that's about it). No Pinot Grigio, no variety, no flexibility. Just a forced upsell on mediocre wine in a casual, outdoor setting. Let's be clear: You can order a single beer. You can order a single cocktail. But you cannot order a single glass of wine. In 2026, that's not just outdated--it's completely out of touch. This approach eliminates choice, discourages responsible and casual consumption, and frankly alienates a large portion of your customer base. What if someone wants just one glass? What if they want to try two different wines? That experience is gone. And the reasoning doesn't hold up. If this is about waste or throughput, there are countless modern solutions--by-the-glass preservation systems, or even high-quality boxed options like Black Box Wines that maintain freshness without forcing customers into higher spend. This feels less like a thoughtful strategy and more like a blunt, revenue-driven decision that ignores the guest experience entirely. So here's the question for leadership: Who is making these menu and beverage decisions--and how does this align with the kind of experience you claim to offer? Because from a guest perspective, this isn't hospitality. It's restriction. I'd genuinely like to hear a response from the team on this. Until then, this is a complete veto for me.

They have it all and the staff is very well versed and can reccomend what you are looking for. They can even reccomend things to an old dawg like me. The humidor is impressive, but what is really impressive are the two things 64th St. does not have, a brewery and an event space. Sure there are their signature leather arm chairs and multiple screens for whatever your sports pleasure is (and they will change a channel upon request), but the real winner is their bar. They offer a full and impressive selection of bourbon, whiskey, and scotch (they stock my favorite Angel's Envy), but they also have a great and delicious selection of microbrews done on site in their very own brewery. Prices are very good and the beers go great with a good cigar, they can even reccomend a cigar and beer pairing. Their event space is truly first class. it offers a full stage and plenty of room to accomodate your large company function or a modest birthday. They do not do food themselves, but on occasion, they host a food truck or two and allow food delivery to the location (Hawg Jaw BBQ is also right across the street from them). The staff is the best in the biz. Always friendly, always welcoming, and always knowledgable. When you walk into The Outlaw, you are in a truly comfortable space. No entitled jerks or complainers, everyone walks in an instant friend. If you are not a cigar smoker, the place is large enough that it never gets smokey or has that lingering cigar smell that most places have. I highly suggest grabbing a drink and a stick when you need a good unwind from a long day. Who knows, I might be there to buy you a drink.

I come here because it is convenient, always has been for me and now even more so because of the streetcar and because of the self serve beer wall. If that intimidates you don't fret because there is a full bar and some taps behind the bar the bartenders can serve you from. Sometimes I choose to do this because the beer wall can get pricey quickly but, it's a novel and fun concept that works for downtown. The food though I feel is overpriced, like why am I paying $15 for tots that are barely topped with toppings and really aren't even a sizable portion? Last time I was here to watch the Chiefs game I ordered the Rueben Tots expecting a fun pile of classic Rueben sandwich components on top of hot crispy greasy tots instead what I received was a small mound of stringy corned beef and a slice of melted Swiss cheese and a dismal drizzle of thousand island. I had to ask for more sauce on the side because it just wasn't enough for the amount of tots. If these would have been between $10-$12 maybe I would have let it slide and this review would have been different but for $15 I just wasn't too happy. Also, another note the menu online has absolutely no descriptions whatsoever so, if you're trying to place a pickup order good luck knowing what you're actually ordering. This could be an easy fix. The service is okay but sometimes it feels like you have to chase down the wait staff or just walk up to the bar to get another drink or ask for a menu. I'm sure happy hour is fine here but I haven't been for years so, I'm not sure if the prices have gone up for that too. Will I be back? Well yes but, I'll definitely order something different from the menu then the last time around. Maybe 4 sliders for $15 is a better way to go? Because I've also gotten the Rueben sandwich here before for $15 and I felt like it was sparse and the meat was lacking. I do believe they have a pretty good burger deal on Monday unless that has changed.
