Being a market, you can select all sorts of things to go with your sandwich from chips, nuts raw potatoes, etc. etc. Okay, maybe hold off on the raw potatoes but the variety of drinks and side snacks is just what you'd expect in a market. I don't understand why there's a line at any chain sandwich shop within 10 miles of this place as the friendly, English-speaking folks behind the counter make a sandwich that two normal people could easily share and be very satisfied. Today, for the first time ever, the owner told me I have to use a tap card to pay, instead of the ordinary insert/swipe card I've been using for years. My bank (a large regional bank) does not issue tap cards yet. So I had to put the bottles back on the shelf and drive across the street to Big John's. I know tap cards are trending but have never encountered a store that forced their customers to use them. Seems like Tip Top has hit rock bottom ... and just lost a loyal, long-time customer along the way.

We also picked up some aquavit and a nice Pinot and some craft beer. Get this, the beer was put in the can a mere 3 weeks ago. Lots of help - you look a little lost and someone is instantly next to you. So Much Wine, Bubbles, whatever you might be jonesing, for you got it, things for mixing there too. People are so nice in the store. If you see a big guy with a beard and a nice smile - be super nice to him.
