About as far away from Woodies or B&Q as it's possible to get, avoid it at all costs if you like ordered aisles, signs, clearly displayed prices, or a lot of choice. To be sought out if you have a general sense of curiosity and might like to witness a wily, wiry man, not in the first flush of youth but nimble as a goat, disappear into the midst of what looks like pure chaos in the form of a shelving system, and arrive back within 60 seconds with precisely what you asked for - however odd or out of sight - and present it to you without fuss, usually at a cost of around two euros. If that's ok. Because he may well ask you. Bulbs. Paint. A colander. Electrical stuff. Wire. Rope. Pots. Plants. Trees. Keys. A laser spirit level, anyone? Lamps. Bike locks. Vacuum bags. It wouldn't surprise me to find there's a sofa in there somewhere, or a self-assembly garden shed (maybe even modest dwelling?), in fact next time I might ask. It might better be know as the hardware Tardis of D7, as it carries much more than its exterior suggests is possible. In fact, the question may be, what's not available in Matt's shop? I've yet to find out.

Whether it's paint, tools or nails that you're after, it's here. The photo of the shop's exterior says it all really. They even have plants and they sell Christmas trees during the Yuletide season. Only problem is you could go in there and lose track of time purchasing stuff that you never knew you wanted or needed!

The service here was decent; some staff were dismissive but or the most part they were helpful in finding what I needed! The value was super nice, super cheap and overall good quality items. I was able to find house and kitchen supplies at a good price. Super good deals on some items! Will definitely come back whenever I need to shop for household items and furnishing!

Poor quality, not worth the money, rude support--avoid this bed…read more Because of the poor manufacturing quality and the weak spot by design, the bottom part of the loft bed (SMÅSTAD) snapped in half where the drilled holes are while I was still assembling it and pushing this heavy bed around on the floor. I contacted support for the replacement part, arranged the delivery date, and took the day off work for it to be delivered. The delivery driver arrived with the wrong item and went back without delivering anything. So I contacted support again, explained that the wrong item was sent, and they arranged another delivery day on Sunday, which meant I had to stay at home all day just for the delivery. Nobody came this time, nor did I receive any reason why it was not delivered. It has been almost 20 days since the original order, the bed is still broken and looks ugly. I contacted support again, had to explain everything all over again, but this time they were very rude, treated me like rubbish, and told me it was my own fault for breaking it and handling it incorrectly, even though there are no instructions on how to handle it properly when it is this heavy. Because of how badly they treated me, I told them this time that I want to return it instead and get a full refund, and that I never want to deal with this company again. They basically told me to forget about it--they will not accept the return whatsoever, they will try again to send the replacement part, and I will have to take the whole bed apart just to get to the area where it needs to be replaced. I raised my concerns about how poor the quality is and that if I take the whole bed apart and put it back together without the instructions, it might break somewhere else, become even looser, and be unsafe for my child to sleep in altogether. Their support said they could not care less about it, and that it is not their problem. Then I suggested replacing the whole bed and taking back the broken one--they still refused. After that, they disconnected me from the support chat three times in a row, simply because I raised my safety and time concerns. So in total, I wasted five hours on useless support chats, two days waiting for delivery without success, still have a broken bed, was treated like rubbish, and am now an angry, lost customer for life. Very disappointed, the support made 10 times worse experience, never again IKEA.ie
