The ice cream is creamy, rich, and packed with flavor without feeling overly heavy. Regular scoop is $5.00 which is the avg. price of competitors. Whether you go for a classic scoop or one of their colorful shaved ice desserts, everything tastes made for hot days and happy moods. This ice cream shop delivers old-fashioned feels. There were a few people in front of me in line, but it moved quickly and there was minimal time waiting. After sampling several different flavors, I settled on Bake Shoppe. This is a cookie dough ice cream with large chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie bites scattered throughout the creamy ice cream. Pricing was about $5 for a single scoop, which is in line with similar stores. There was plenty of seating throughout the store, and each room contained a different theme. These themes included a game room and a music room. There is also plenty of outdoor seating as well. Despite there being quite a few people savoring the beautiful summer evening on the front patio, I found an open seat and watched the traffic of downtown Jenks roll by the shop as I enjoyed my ice cream.

The staff is very friendly and willing to answer questions which is a good thing because you wouldn't know what to do by looking at the menu boards. Basically there is a $10 board which reads $1,095,000,000. (For Booger Masters) A "build your own flavors=(Booger rollers) for $4.95.=$4,950,000. Still a really big sno cup. And a $6.00 cup on the other poster that reads $6,950,000,000. (Booger eaters) Confused yet? Oh and you can get anything from the $10 poster put into a $6 poster size for the $6 price. There are other items that you can get which are represented in helpful posters off to the sides with appropriate prices displayed. OK so that's the how-to's. Now my review would say that as far as the strawberry one I got the flavor was quite lacking in fact I put some of my sons green apple one into it so that I could taste it. Very underwhelming. The cookie stick fell off before I got out the front door. I think it just depends on the one you choose. The sour booger my son got was much tastier. And I'm sorry I just can't get past the name. I can barely type 'how tasty my son sour booger was', it's just awful! That alone is a pretty big deterrent for me. Besides the name, my advice would be to have some type of music going vs silence. Even a Bizzarre calypso to accompany the wild colors. Also, when you enter such a rainbow-colorful candy confection looking shop you expect a sweet smell. Instead it smelled like paint. This is the one time I would have welcomed a cotton candy candle or gum drop room sent infuser.

They were supposed to close as we pulled up but they immediately told us to come up and order, no problem. They had THE BEST shaved ice (not sno cone) and they were so freaking friendly. I'm just sad they aren't around DFW. If you get the chance to experience this place, eat one for me!
