Let me start with the biggest issues. We ordered a Peroni and a glass of Prosecco. The Prosecco arrived but the beer never did. After asking multiple times, we were finally told they did not have it and were given other options. That should have been communicated from the start. The worst part of the night was that my soda glass literally exploded. I put the straw in and suddenly heard a pop and a chunk of the glass broke off. Soda went everywhere. While it was being cleared there was glass all over the table and I actually got pinched on the finger by a shard while moving a napkin. Resolution was basically none. Just an apology and I had to request another soda, which was disappointing. Now, the food. Overall, the food was good with some clear highs and a few misses. We started with the bruschetta. It was tasty but it needed more balsamic and there was way too much arugula for my taste. The octopus was good. The first few bites were chewy, but after that the texture improved and the flavor was solid. The chicken parm was the star of the night. It was delicious and very crunchy. They did accommodate my request to have it with vodka sauce, although it seemed at first like they could not because some were already premade with red sauce, which I did not want. Dessert was the almond budín and it was excellent. Honestly, it is probably the one thing that would make me go back. As for the experience, the table was small and the pony wall made it feel a bit cramped. It was doable but not the most comfortable setup. Bottom line, good food, especially the chicken parm and the almond budín, but service and handling of the glass incident definitely need improvement. read more

This was my first dine-in experience. I'm familiar with the food, so I was confident it wasn't going to disappoint. And it didn't. This time around I went with the Fettuccine a la Carbonara. Went to one of my favorite restaurants with the family. Wholly disappointed. We were seated in the new area, one door down from the main restaurant. The ambience is bad, acoustics terrible. Waited an eternity for our food. The pasta came lukewarm. In all our prior visits the pasta was hot and bubbly. The waiter was friendly and attentive but he could not make up for the lousy experience. It will be a very long time before I come back. Its a shame, we had good experiences in the past. read more

Excellent service. We had reservations but still had to sit outside which wasn't our preference. We didn't get the restaurant vibe because we were sitting next to the parking lot. This restaurant was very busy. We ordered the seafood linguini and the arancinis as appetizer. Pasta was great with a decent amount of seafood in it. Wow this food was amazing. I truly DONT understand the low reviews. Service was Excellent and the servers were very accommodating to the food you want. Even if the food wasn't on the menu they WILL make it! To start off we got free bread and olive oil with balsamic vinegar to as soon as we sat down. The fried calamari had a thick type of sauce that was delicious makes of sun dried tomatoes. The ravioli was SPECTACULAR! That vodka sauce that came with it was sublime! I was particularly impressed with my spaghetti Bolognese. I asked for some red peer flakes and it was great! We tried an Itálian restaurant in OSJ that was poor food. This restaurant however truly IS a hidden gem was amazing Italian food. I will DEFINITELY come back. Oh and they have a full bar and serve a very good amount of wine by the glass!!! Freaking amazing! I'm Italian from Milan and I didn't expected to find this quality of food in a neighborhood restaurant. I'm impressed. From checking in with the super nice hostess Gabriela to the end of the meal it has been a great experience. The Arancini were delicious. The Rigatoni Bolognese, served al dente (a rarity outside Italy) with a Bolognese meat sauce that was actually pretty good. Horrible service! Sat at the bar and Samu did not even offer us water. He was very rude and did not acknowledge our presence until we insisted. He went back and forth to the bar area without even looking at us and we left after waiting more than 25 minutes.
