Great place! Wanted some coffee and this place came up first on yelp and it was 0.2 miles from where I was. So, why not! I'm so glad we did. Delicious coffee and wonderful service! A huge plus, is their support for veterans! The history in this place is off the charts! As a proud wife of my retired veteran, I would happily support this place! Thanks guys!

Awesome local small coffee shop with tons of variety and amazing customer service! Recommended and helped pick out some coffee to bring home Coffee is freaking delicious and the kids absolutely loves their hot coco. Atmosphere is fun, relaxing and family friendly. I would highly recommend this place. Support small business.

Not the greatest cup of coffee. Still not a fan of anywhere in Cache. Just make kureig at home - it at home and it'll be better I promise

The Mean Gene coffee was spot on. It's a great coffee shop paying homage to our veterans. Loved every bit of it!

Very disappointed. I ordered a specialty latte and it seems as if it had no milk. No one was wearing masks, even the employees.

The baristas have always been friendly and patient with my indecisiveness, hahaha. The drinks are always strong and sweet and creamy. That perfect combination that's hard to achieve. It's my addiction, once I get a sip I'm like "ahhhhh" *sigh of relief , take a deep breath * everything is going to be okay! It's just so good! A 24 ounce latte has 5 shots, yes, that is standard and it's amazing! They do tell you that every time though and ask if that's okay. They will do less if it's not of course. They have some unique and yummy seasonal drinks too! There's a blackberry vanilla Salt matcha that I love, the some corporate latte is truly divine. (Vanilla and caramel. ) The pumpkin lattes in fall are like an absolute must try, do not miss or you will regret it for the rest of time. (Homeade marshmallow whip cream, and pumpkin syrup. ) everything has always been so good, when we're in Logan the hubby and I will have to get 2-3 drinks each. (Through out the day of course!) Because we are that obsessed. The shop is really cute too nice decor, lots of seating, records and coffee merch for sale as well. ) And they gave open mic nights. Love Grounds for coffee! (I thought I wrote a review a long time ago, apparently not, so here it is all jumbled together. )

They tend to be busy but waits aren't unreasonable. I don't generally eat in the storefront itself, but I think that it's very cute and benefits greatly from being a stone's throw away from Cafe Ibis. This month they have Reubens because it's March and they are phenomenal. (First pic.) Please go try them if you're a Reuben guy. As always their pastries are great.

Their croissants are amazing, the best in the country, award winning, their burrito, well, although good, it lacks a little flavor, but still five stars. Then why two stars? Why? One word, service. Nothing is more frustrating than walking into a food establishment and waiting 30 minutes to pick up two croissants. I walk up to the counter, I point at two beautiful butter croissants sitting right there behind glass, and say, "I'll take those two." The person at the register takes my order, but then doesn't just reach over and place the croissants in a small bag and hand them to you, they put your order in the queue behind ten burrito orders, so now you wait 30 or more minutes to pick up your two croissants. To me, this is absolutely ludicrous. In comes the coffee, now I understand why they have some of the worst coffee in the valley--cold, self-serve, rattle can coffee. They're located right next to the best five star coffee shop in the entire country, Ibis Coffee, so you might think, well, I'll go buy a cup of coffee at Ibis, and a couple wonderful fresh butter croissants at La Croissant. Nope, you'll order your two croissants at La Croissant, walk over to Ibis, order your coffee, sit down, drink your coffee, finish your coffee, and surf Facebook, long before your two croissants are ready for pick up. (No, you're not waiting for them to bake, it just feels like it.) ...and that's why two stars. Their own success and lack of efficiency is their downfall, and why I never go back.

I placed a…read moremobile order through the App and it said it was going to be ready in approximately 10+ minutes. I walked over in no hurry and lots of activity in the drive through and people picking up orders but not really anyone hanging out. The layout is nice and open with some long tables along with the smaller ones. Tables were all cleaned off and the place is inviting and organized. Since I ordered through the App, I didn't have much interaction with the baristas but I can say that they were all busy doing their part to get through the morning rush. It took longer than expected for my drink, I think they may have forgotten about it. My Iced Chai came out exactly how I ordered it. I ended up coming back the following day and my drink was ready much quicker.

Arranged to meet and transfer a large money exchange at the local Starbucks in Logan, Utah also to charge my phone after vast interstate travel. I was very early to meet and conduct a simple wire transaction with the Facebook marketplace fellow. No sweat, I was bored out of my mind... so rather than be numb on my content feed, figured it needn't be done professionally, I simply started sorting and organizing their heavily shopped coffee bag displays, nicely/aesthetically turning their cups, fitting in signage and squeezing in room for logical even back filled rows of merch displays, pushing in chairs, picking up garbage out of sheer boredom. NOT ONE EMPLOYEE ASKED ME TO STOP OR CEASE THE GOOD SAMARITAN VALUE I WAS CONTRIBUTING. After all is conducive and peaceful, the supervisor clocks in, staggers in bitterly gulping her employee drink in one swig then comes directly to where I was sitting as for a moment after I've inspected every inch there was nothing left to clean or make look nice. I asked her if she had witnessed what I had done. She was around for a good minute or two transition thus was either oblivious to my good intentions and actions, or she went as far as to keep her head down and turn a blind eye just to snap into Gen-Z girlboss with a mini-bob. She absolutely scolds that I better buy an item right now and if I don't that I would be removed by authorities. I told her I would like to do it in that case. Dumbfounded, her default NPC reaction is to immediately reiterate the choice of hostility; not of customer service. "You mean you WOULD like the authorities to remove you?" So I basically just was forced into a hostage situation of a tiny $3 cup of black bean soup. I got my sell and trade item successfully at the end of the day. I am not local to Utah so this was my first coffee experience to the state. Will boycott until I am informed of this particular employee being terminated, and that their policies improve drastically.
