We also got the guac and consome. Everything from start to finish was incredible - the steak was cooked PERFECTLY (not tough at all and absolutely delicious), the octopus was also cooked perfectly (not rubbery, just tender and tasty), the al pastor was really good, and the birria was also delicious. Paired with the consome, the birria was fantastic, so this is a must if you're ordering birria. The chips, salsas, and guac were all really good, too. Literally nothing short of perfection. The owners were cooking and serving, and they were so kind and wonderful. HIGHLY recommend if you're in the area. There's something for everyone (tons of meats, fish, and veggies to choose from). Excited to come back and try a bowl or burrito!

Despite the fact that the taco wasn't fresh, I think it might've been a day old and the shell was a little stale. But the flavor of the birria - wow. It was so flavorful even without adding on any salsa. The consome was loaded with meat but I do think the consome was a bit in the saltier side. With how good the birria was despite not being fresh, I can only imagine how good it would be fresh.

It didn't come with a birria dip but my partner got the consume and omg, it was the perfect dipper and amazing on its own. The little things that are always a stand out for me is that they give you a hand full of limes. I'm sure that can seem like a small thing but lime is such an integral part of tacos for me and most place give you one or two for like it's the lime shortage of 2014. So to open my box up and see five, I was super excited. The price is really affordable too. I paid twenty two bucks for tacos, consume and a drink. Can't beat that! I'm talking... let's compare these to my favorite local mexican restaurants and still... Rosie's is WAY better and fresher! It's no surprise really, as all ingredients are locally sourced! The steak quesadilla is SO tender and juicy, the sauteed onions make it a match made in heaven. The breakfast quesadilla with bacon is too good to be true- I order it for brunch and it keeps me full all day! (Don't forget to order a side of home fries with Rosie sauce! YUM!) Have you ever eaten ribs that literally fall off the bone and make you dream of them for months after? Well, try Rosie's ribs for the best dreams for weeks that follow! They literally melt in your mouth. Pure perfection! Actually don't... there won't be any left for me! Try Rosie's! You'll be SO glad you did!!!

Amongst the old factories of East Williamsburg sits Rosie's. And Rosie's has been sitting in its…read moresame spot since 1988. This food truck serves a wide arrange of American themed flare. Which I have no doubt keeps the local workers happy. There was a small line at 3pm and the only people I saw were all eating on the street on in near by parked cars. Every 'factory' worker I passed seemed to have a smile on their face and a sandwich in hand. Having just come from a tapping of Food Networks 24 Hour Restaurant Battle in which I might have had the worst meal of my life seeing Rosie's truck in the distance was almost a gift from God. However, my stomach didn't know what it wanted as we glared at the large menu. I asked about the pancakes but was told they are pretty much gone by 9am every day, the guy ahead of us in line called them "so amazingly good!" We settled on splitting a chicken sandwich. The roll it came on was soft and chewy - better then I would have expected for a food truck sandwich roll. The chicken cutlet was peppery and cooked to perfection. All in all a great sandwich! I'd like to think I'll trek my way back here some time to try a few other items on the menu and have a little chat with Rosie who seems like a great lady. But time will tell. And in a city where all our 'institutions' keep disappearing for condos and Duane Reade's it's nice to know it's going to take a long time for that to happen to Rosie's. The chicken for a taco I ordered didn't seem fully cooked. I tried to address my concern with the workers at the front who take the orders (a male with glasses and a female) and asked if it can be switched. However, the two workers responded with attitude, went on to gaslight me, and tried to convince me that the chicken was cooked WITHOUT EVEN EXAMINING THE CHICKEN I BROUGHT OVER TO THEM. The female worker said, "actually our chicken is cooked three times" and went on to explain the whole process. They could've simply observed the chicken I brought over to them, but instead they approached my concern with a nasty attitude and did not offer no solution. What a great way to run a business . I only took 1 bite and threw the rest away. I was not offered a refund, an exchange for something else, or an apology; just nasty attitudes from both workers and gaslighting. This wasn't the first time I ordered chicken tacos from them, and I never had a problem with the quality until now. Very disappointed to even have to come on here and write this review. I have attached photos as proof. Will no longer be bringing family and friends to this place.

I may have ordered the wrong thing here as the 4 orders before me were all for burritos. I went with 3 mixed tacos for $12 (vs $11 for 3 of a single protein). Went with carne asada, carnitas and al pastor. All were dry though with decent flavor. The carnitas was the best both for flavor and moisture but still lacking. Maybe the tip here is to go with the burritos. I also like that they had suadero.
