History

Established in 2016.

James worked for one of the biggest accounting firms in the US, right out of college. That's where he cut his teeth as an auditor. After getting some experience and wanting to get away from the traffic of the city, he moved from Denver to Cheyenne, WY. There he worked as a staff accountant for a small firm. After showing his passion and interest for clients getting what they need, in a timely manner, he was promoted to Audit Director of the firm. Shortly after, that firm downsized and he created his own firm from his audit clients, with the former owner's blessing. He worked as an auditor and general accountant to his clients, independently for 4 years. At that time he merged with another firm, excited to have the support of a Team. He worked with them for 4 years. He recognized his interest serving his clients at the highest level possible. He wanted to provide a high tough, compassionate and accessible service to his clients. He started CAC advisors in 2016 doing just that.

Hello! I'm James Childress, CPA. I'm excited to help my clients take their businesses and organizations to the highest level of efficiency, stability and growth they can achieve. Business starts and ends with financials. It's one of the few things that is common amongst all businesses and organizations. I want to make working with your financials something you feel confident in and supported by. It takes work, time and effort to create and refine and accounting system that gives you answers.
