I'm not sure what the deal is here save to say it is generally cheaper than other vets and you can't make appointments. We have used it a few times in emergencies (like when one of the cats got addicted to slug pellets) or when our current beast got a badly infected leg from god knows what. She replied, "Ah god bless you". I was absolutely appalled by her manner and tone on the phone, she seems to forget that it is still a business she happens to be volunteering for. The Vet was equally as nasty, showed little to no compassion for my dog. I'm afraid he is past his expiration date in terms of his career. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. There are plenty more vets who do not give you this sense of inconsideration for your business.

They passed my phone number on to a vet in another clinic who rang me even though I made it very clear that this was a decision I wanted to make myself without being pressurised. Really this is a warning. They can't be trusted to have the best interest of your pet as a priority. You rarely see the same person twice so Noone takes responsibility. A terrible experience for my pet and for me.

Lying in the clinical notes is standard practice. One vet Hannah Kearns wrote up an entry in the clinical notes detailing several treatment issues she claimed were discussed by phone. No such consideration ever took place. She said she remembered it clearly that I rang the practice and she had this discussion with me. I pointed out the call was six minutes long then she stated she recollected it clearly that she had rung me back. I replied that my phone records show there was no call from Anicare ( IVC Evidencia) to me any time during that week. She sent a document to the Veterinary Council of Ireland claiming it was a callback log ( for a call that never happened). So rather than produce their actual phone record they created this other document in-house to "prove" this phone consultation had taken place. This is just one of the many deceptive practices they used to scam me. They gave my pet a horrible death. I suffered a reactive depression after finding out the extent of the lying and the extent of the abuse my pet suffered at their hands. I did not find out until I request the full clinical notes after my pet died.

Unfortunately when I called I informed the lady that I already had a vet near my house who was gone away for Paddy's weekend.When she heard this her attitude changed quite abruptly,was sharp and essentially informed me that if I wasn't going to attend the vet regularly there would be a problem with my form............ It made me quite angry to feel that money was the priority over helping get a fluffy friend from the kennels.......................... Im sure the vet is excellent but having my own business I know how important first impressions are and that attitude on the phone is not the way to make someone choose your service.........................
