That's it I did it I called Verizon and switched to fios. They can't come soon enough. I have an constant in and out outages of internet for the past year. They said it was my cable modem and router I got a new one same issue they sent 3 different technicians to check everything lines outside etc. each one pushed the problem off to a different technician I have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service with no solution I am done paying hundreds of dollars a month for something that doesn't work. The worst company ever as well as horrible Verizon, as I will never ever do business with either one ever in the future. They have the worst customer service. Their technicians are in capable of performing their jobs as only one recently. A few months back came to my home, had ability to perform his job with respect and honor . He love how wonderful he was at his job as he was quite respectful. Do yourself a favor and never ever deal with poor customer, service, or company who does not care that you have poor health due to their frustration and dissatisfaction. I went to cancel my service in the Farmingdale location and was disrespected by one of the customer service women as she was rudely not hearing how frustrated I was with the company and how difficult it is via the phone to reach anyone to file a complaint. The wonderful men at the desk overheard and watched me try to contact to cancel over the phone as it was impossible. He then canceled for me as the woman should have done in the first place if she had listened to how impossible it is to reach the company to file a complaint or cancel services. read more

Omg! Why do I pay them? 64.99 a month for 200mbps Internet which starts at 39.99 at FIOS when they consistently bill me for the entire month despite me getting no internet or throttled connections many many times a month! This is the least reliable ISP I HAVE EVER HAD! read more

Absolute worst company on earth. You can never get a human and when you do they are all clueless and barely speak proper English. None of the customer service reps have any knowledge on the actual products and services. I have been without cable/internet for the past 5 days and the technician came to "fix" it, left without following through and I still have no internet and cable connection issues. What the fuck is this company seriously??? They overcharge for the worst service on earth and I cannot wait to cancel and go with literally any other company because their service is that horrible and that frustrating. When you finally get a human on the phone, who doesn't know anything 100% of the time, you have to BEG for a supervisor who is never available and literally never calls you back. Altice one is a piece of garbage! We have had nothing but problems day in and day out with this system. We've called up Cablevision every single day for the last two weeks to fix the problem. We've had numerous technicians out to our home to repair wires and to fix other issues with the system, and still Altice one DOES NOT WORK! I would not suggest getting this system. The technicians are not trained well enough to fix the problems associated with this system. We are returning the boxes today, and returning to regular cable boxes. What a nightmare. My parents ordered Altice last week. The tech showed up three hours late to do the install. Then attached the phone and told my parents he would be right back. he got in the truck drove away and never called or returned. I called customer service to complain about this very unproffesional tech, they said " I don't know what to tell you. make another appontment. " Going to cancel the order and stick with Fios. If I could give -1 stars, I would! I have 2 separate accounts with cablevision/optimum/altice or whatever slick name they go by to date. Since 1986, I've been a paying customer. The first check I made out to them was for $19 and change. Wow. Many greedy, greedy years later, I continued to pay...until now. I've had enough of HORRIBLE customer service(should be called customer abuse), their lies("you can't speak to a supervisor right now because they're all at lunch")and their unabashed willingness to impose bogus charges and threaten to cut your service if you don't pay up. I called numerous times to resolve bills in early June 2018. There were no call backs that were promised, no one who was remotely accountable for straightening out this mess of bills that added to almost $900.00!!!! I don't watch pay per view, always had the most economical plan, however expensive it got to be, etc. On June 30th, I RELUCTANTLY paid the bill in order to keep my service. I then called my credit card company to explain the situation and they are investigating my dispute. I wish them luck with that! Today this despicable company that I have been a hostage to for over 30 years has suspended my tv, phone and internet service. No warnings: no email, text message, snail mail, phone call, nothing. I am headed to the optimum store in Lindenhurst to give back all their crap and I'll take my chances with Verizon. I hope that I get to see, in my lifetime, the fall of this tyrannical company and all the greedy "powers that be" who turned television into a billion dollar industry! Where to start. I've been in my newly build townhouse for going on 2 years now. We have been cable customers for 30 years going to the "tipple play" days. This company shows no sense of loyalty, outright lies to customers in an effort to pacify them. I was promised an appointment on a Sunday, no show no call. When we called to inquire the agent on the phone said "I show nothing in the system. The previous week we had someone to the house, he indicated the problem was an outside issue, he was putting a ticket in. Another lie, and still no resolution going on 2 weeks. Spent almost 2 hours on the phone with them running around the house resetting 5 boxes that I pay for. Over $200 dollars a month for poor quality internet, phone service that makes it sound like the person your speaking to is underwater and tv service that makes your tv look like a flicker show from the 1930's. I think it's time for Verizon, I'm so done, we pay Cablevision to be treat like garbage. read more

Optimum by Altice has unfair billing practices which now charges customers even when not rendering services. For instance I cancelled my service on the 2nd day after the billing cycle and found out that I will be charged to the end of the billing cycle. So in essence they are charging me for 4 weeks of service that I will not be receiving. I spoke to numerous customer support employees only to receive multiple answers to the same questions. I will have to pay approx.$180 dollars without any services rendered for the next 4 weeks. I feel this billing practice is unfair and doesn't seem legal to me. read more

Beware of this company, they have the worst customer service, and the most unfair billing practices. I called on the 31st of the month to tell them I was moving on the 8th. When they pulled up my account they should have told me that my billing cycle starts on the 7th and if I don't cancel as of that date I will have to pay for the following month. AN ENTIRE MONTH I DO NOT HAVE SERVICE FOR. Of course they did not tell me that and now I am expected to pay for service I do not have. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!! No other company does that kind of business, they are thieves and liars!!!! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN and I also know for a fact that their Altice one is a piece of GARBAGE.
