How can you not give this place a 5 star rating, where do I start; the hospitality is not like many motels I've stayed and check in is quick, the rooms are adorable (spacious, clean, fridge, coffee, little kitchen area), parking is so great to be able to park right in front of your Cabin door especially when you ride in on a motorcycle. Laundry area nice, heated spa/pool..lastly the breakfast...wow we had been on the road for 2 weeks and hands down the best food, we were surprised with some homemade breakfast items and everything just tasted amazing. A lot of thought went into making sure guests were well taken care of and the price per room is extremely fair

This cabin has a beautiful farm view in the back, and convenient store/gas station across the street! Most of all--SO SO CLEAN! Massaging tub inside my own cabin is like a dream come true! Highly highly recommended! The cabin is like brand new home away from home feeling with clean/new towels! Love this stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute little inn! We had our own Individual cabins for our family and the were so roomy, clean and cozy! The service was amazing and they have a homemade breakfast which was a nice addition!

Cabin #5, porch with chairs and a stream behind the cabin

This place was such an unexpected gem! The price was great for a hotel room in the area so we booked it but what you get is so much more than just a hotel room. The cabin (#5) had a sweet little porch next to a running stream with two chairs to enjoy the view, a kitchenette with an expandable dining table and a comfy sofa in a little sitting area. The bedroom was separate and decorated so cutely. The two Queen beds were so so comfortable and the sheets were soft and cool. The free breakfast was such a surprise, it had the usual hotel breakfast options like cereal, yogurt, bagels and fruit but the owners were also in the back making fresh French toast and there was a crockpot with a sausage and hash brown breakfast casserole and mini ham and egg muffins. We enjoyed our time here so much we have determined that this will be our go to long weekend vacation spot from now. You will not regret staying here.

This place is wonderful. The cabins are roomy and ours had a seperated kitchenette. It had a big bathtub and a theme throughout. The creek is located right behind it. The couple that owns it is friendly and there is a complimentary breakfast offered with your stay. The breakfast is cooked by the staff and there is a wide variety like French toast, waffels (awesome), fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee and more They have two washers and dryers to do laundry and and a heated pool and jacuzzi outside the front. You get one parking space for your cabin. It's quiet and there is a gas station and grocery store located right across the street. My family and I are definitely impressed with this homey feel place. We will be back!

I would give it 100 stars if I could. Check out travlocity's review on cabin creek inn a lot more information than here. I stayed here twice, once about 3 years ago and again two weeks ago. Both times left with me good memories. Great staff working at this little cabin, super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Each cabin has its unique style and theme and there is creek behind the cabins, great spot for photos at sunset. Price is reasonable and they have a simple breakfast in the morning. There is a supermarket across street from the cabin closes at 930pm I believe where you can get supplies and some hot food and sandwiches. I will make cabin an offical stop each time I visit Yellowstone, it is about 54 miles from here to Jackson Hole. Stay here once and you will fall in love with it!

We decided to stay here when visiting Yellowstone because of all the good reviews we saw. From here, it is about 1hr drive to Jackson Hole and 2hr to Yellowstone. When we went inside the cabin, we were all very impressed at how cute the whole arrangement was. Everything was also very clean, and I felt like it even seemed brand new. The breakfast was good and service was great. The only reason why I gave it four stars was I found a dead bug on the bed when I woke up. I know it wasn't there before I slept since I took the blankets off and the bed was clean. But somehow it got in, and while checking the bed to check out, I saw it underneath the blankets. I don't think this is their fault, since their cabin was very clean, and I did not see any trace of any pests. This will prevent me from giving 5 stars, but I think they are definitely a great place to stay; I would say they are one of the best places I've stayed, bugs aside. So if you happen to be in town, this is the place to go for an even more amazing stay

A friend took us here on a motorcycle trip. Best place of our trip. The cabins are awesome. They are quaint, clean, and well maintained. Very cute place with all the necessary stuff. Nice shower, nice decor, nice beds, nice everything. Very cute place. Even includes a free breakfast and wifi. Paved and concrete parking. They even let us park our bikes under a cover when it rained. Nice place in the middle of nowhere. I will be back here for sure.

Amazing, clean cabins for a very reasonable price! Do not pass these up if you have a chance to stay here. Better than some I stayed in the Poconos and Lake Tahoe. The owners are a family business with a warm welcome to Thayne. There is also a small creek (Flat Creek) on the same property right behind the cabins. It is about 53 miles south of Jackson and a doable drive to Yellowstone if you would like to save some money or find reservations sooner.

I stayed for 4 nights. Pros: Quiet, meticulously clean, room had a microwave, a Keurig, a small fridge w freezer, a small kitchenette table, fast Wifi, and a TV (which I did not use.) Location is ideal, located downtown Thayne. It's a mom and pop run motel, run by a family. The owners were very responsive when I had a question about the heater. They came to my room immediately and resolved it on the spot. Each hotel room has a screen door which gave it a country, homey feel. Cons: None. It's a total gem for a great price.

My family and I are headed to Yellowstone and decided to stay the night here after a long drive,…read morebefore driving into the park. The outside is okay. You get your own little patio for each unit. We arrived at exactly 3pm which is check in time. They office doors were locked. We didn't know what to do and had to wait for about 5 mins before the owners came out of their adjoining restaurant. I'll talk about the restaurant at the end. We walked into unit 17. I was pleasantly surprised to see a kitchenette. There was a full size fridge and a microwave. I loved that there were two areas for the beds. One in the "kitchen" area and one near the bathroom. That's where my "love" ended. Further inspection of the $95/night room left me speechless and not in a good way. Let's start in the "kitchen" area. There was no kitchenware. They had all those cabinets and they were all empty. Maybe they expected us to ask for things? Not sure. They had a cutting board and no knife. The paper towel roll had one paper towel on it. The kitchen didn't have enough outlets so we had to unplug the light to make coffee. P.s. no lids. Next the beds were very uncomfortable. The kitchen beds were lumpy and the bedroom beds were rock hard. The sheets felt like plastic. It sounded like it too when you moved your feet. The bathroom had an abundance of soap and no shampoo. The water pressure was good, but the temperature changed constantly from too hot to too cold. The floors were uneven and it felt like a thin layer of linoleum was the only thing keeping you falling through. There was a huge black mold stain in the bath tub which freaked me out. I tried wiping it off with a washcloth and it stayed put so I assumed it was safe. The front door had a bedroom type of lock which isn't all that safe. But we are in a smallish town so I guess it's okay? Lastly the restaurant. We didn't bother going. We are from San Diego and get a giant, fresh and delicious burrito for $6. Juan's was charging gourmet prices of $12-$13. It might be good, but that price is outrageous. If we ever come down this way again, we won't be staying here. Thank goodness we are about to go camping and we had everything we needed already. I couldn't imagine having to get back in the car and driving to a market for utensils and toiletries.

It's very close to Palisades Lake; a huge expanse of blue water surrounded by breathtaking scenery courtesy of the Teton Mountains. If John Denver were alive, he would probably come here often. The restaurant is actually called "Brenthoven's." The menu is immediately eclectic and gives little hints that the chef- who also runs the bar- knows what he's doing. It's a favorite among backcountry pilots- the reason I was there- and is not only a great little restaurant, but is also a happening bar with an unlikely, interesting clientele. There were 6 of us for dinner, and I have to be honest: nothing was even close to mediocre. All the dishes were simply out of this world. Delicate flavors, bold swaths of color, perfect preparation, world-class presentation. It was amazing. Highlights: The pumpkin soup is like nothing I've ever had. Forget what it's called. Just know it's one of the tastiest little cups of anything you'll ever have the privilege to eat. The Cod Parmesan is the star here. It's a delicate, souffle-like concoction, with a beautiful light cod flavor and a perfect texture. The Parmesan adds JUST the right amount of counterbalance to the cod, along with a myriad of other ingredients. This is the stuff of dreams. I'd fly to Wyoming just to have this. The steak (Rib-eye) was like butter and with enough flavor to satisfy an Argentinian escaping from a vegetarian fat farm. Just excellent. The salads were fresh and crisp and the bread was just--baked. I'm told the drinks in the bar are extra strong...for what that's worth. This is a world-class gourmet restaurant hiding among the cowboy-pseudo-western trappings of Wyoming. Don't let the location fool you, the Nordic Inn could be numbered among the truly great restaurants in the West. It was that good.
