I've been around all the country and this is one of the best cabins I ever been I really enjoyed it my stay

My husband and I stayed here for a week (Monday through Sunday) and we were very pleased! The cabins are a great size for two people--mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, & kitchen table; king size bed, electric fireplace, TV, and nice bathroom with a jacuzzi tub! There is a parking spot located directly in front of the cabin which made it easy to unload our luggage and groceries throughout the week. There is a pool & hot tub, although the pool has been closed during our stay (we didn't ask why) but it looks nice and we've seen people laying out in the sun over there on the pool lounge chairs. There is also an ice machine and laundry on site which is great, especially when you're staying as long as we did. The washer & dryers do require quarters but the staff at the front desk can provide them to you, as well as laundry detergent and dryer sheets. It's $1.50 to wash & $1.50 to dry. One of the best parts of our stay was the breakfast every morning at main lobby--and it's FREE! They provide a variety of cereals, pancakes, French toast, fried eggs, egg & potato casserole, muffins, fresh fruit, bagels, breads, butters, jams, juices, water & coffee--a full spread. We ate here pretty much every morning and the food was always really good! There is a grocery store located directly across the street from the cabins so you can stock up during your stay OR you can walk about 8 - 10 min down the street and enjoy the few restaurants that are in town such as Dad's Bar & Steakhouse (phenomenal food!), Graze, 225 BBQ, or Juan's House of Tacos. It's pretty quiet on the property, and all the guests have been respectful of other guests and haven't created any disturbances. For the most part, it's peaceful however I must recommend that you request a cabin closer to the back of the property near the creek bed in advance of your stay--our cabin (#18) was right by the main road and you can hear cars/trucks go by all day (at night, it's not as busy so it didn't bother us as much). I must also mention that the cabins are NOT pet friendly HOWEVER there are certain cabins designated specifically for service dogs and small dogs that DO NOT shed. Our dog is a 10lb Shih-Tzu/Yorkie that is hypoallergenic (does not shed), older, and very well behaved. We notified the staff of this in advance of our stay and they were extremely accommodating and welcoming of our furry loved one! There is a $25 cleaning fee if you bring a pet and they cannot stay in the cabins alone. Overall, we had an EXCELLENT stay! We definitely recommend Cabin Creek Inn and look forward to returning. read more

This is the cutest place I have ever stayed and I cant wait to go back. The cabins were so cute and roomy. I loved that it had two bedrooms one for my son and one for me and the hubby so we felt a little like we had our own place. They had everything we needed and they were so cozy. The bathroom was also really nice. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good for a little place but not many options if you have food allergies so just be aware of that. My son is in a wheelchair and there are a few stairs in front of each cabin so also not that. He is small enough still that we could just lift his chair up the two steps but for those that cant that is something to note. The staff was super kind and everything was very clean. Like I said cant wait to stay here again. Loved it. read more

How can you not give this place a 5 star rating, where do I start; the hospitality is not like many motels I've stayed and check in is quick, the rooms are adorable (spacious, clean, fridge, coffee, little kitchen area), parking is so great to be able to park right in front of your Cabin door especially when you ride in on a motorcycle. Laundry area nice, heated spa/pool..lastly the breakfast...wow we had been on the road for 2 weeks and hands down the best food, we were surprised with some homemade breakfast items and everything just tasted amazing. This place was such an unexpected gem! The price was great for a hotel room in the area so we booked it but what you get is so much more than just a hotel room. The cabin (#5) had a sweet little porch next to a running stream with two chairs to enjoy the view, a kitchenette with an expandable dining table and a comfy sofa in a little sitting area. The bedroom was separate and decorated so cutely. The two Queen beds were so so comfortable and the sheets were soft and cool. The free breakfast was such a surprise, it had the usual hotel breakfast options like cereal, yogurt, bagels and fruit but the owners were also in the back making fresh French toast and there was a crockpot with a sausage and hash brown breakfast casserole and mini ham and egg muffins. We enjoyed our time here so much we have determined that this will be our go to long weekend vacation spot from now. You will not regret staying here. read more

This place is wonderful. The cabins are roomy and ours had a seperated kitchenette. It had a big bathtub and a theme throughout. The creek is located right behind it. The couple that owns it is friendly and there is a complimentary breakfast offered with your stay. The breakfast is cooked by the staff and there is a wide variety like French toast, waffels (awesome), fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee and more They have two washers and dryers to do laundry and and a heated pool and jacuzzi outside the front. You get one parking space for your cabin. It's quiet and there is a gas station and grocery store located right across the street. My family and I are definitely impressed with this homey feel place. I would give it 100 stars if I could. Check out travlocity's review on cabin creek inn a lot more information than here. I stayed here twice, once about 3 years ago and again two weeks ago. Both times left with me good memories. Great staff working at this little cabin, super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Each cabin has its unique style and theme and there is creek behind the cabins, great spot for photos at sunset. Price is reasonable and they have a simple breakfast in the morning. There is a supermarket across street from the cabin closes at 930pm I believe where you can get supplies and some hot food and sandwiches. I will make cabin an offical stop each time I visit Yellowstone, it is about 54 miles from here to Jackson Hole. Stay here once and you will fall in love with it! read more

We decided to stay here when visiting Yellowstone because of all the good reviews we saw. From here, it is about 1hr drive to Jackson Hole and 2hr to Yellowstone. When we went inside the cabin, we were all very impressed at how cute the whole arrangement was. Everything was also very clean, and I felt like it even seemed brand new. The breakfast was good and service was great. The only reason why I gave it four stars was I found a dead bug on the bed when I woke up. I know it wasn't there before I slept since I took the blankets off and the bed was clean. But somehow it got in, and while checking the bed to check out, I saw it underneath the blankets. I don't think this is their fault, since their cabin was very clean, and I did not see any trace of any pests. This will prevent me from giving 5 stars, but I think they are definitely a great place to stay; I would say they are one of the best places I've stayed, bugs aside. A friend took us here on a motorcycle trip. Best place of our trip. The cabins are awesome. They are quaint, clean, and well maintained. Very cute place with all the necessary stuff. Nice shower, nice decor, nice beds, nice everything. Very cute place. Even includes a free breakfast and wifi. Paved and concrete parking. Amazing, clean cabins for a very reasonable price! Do not pass these up if you have a chance to stay here. Better than some I stayed in the Poconos and Lake Tahoe. The owners are a family business with a warm welcome to Thayne. There is also a small creek (Flat Creek) on the same property right behind the cabins. It is about 53 miles south of Jackson and a doable drive to Yellowstone if you would like to save some money or find reservations sooner. read more

As I drove into Thayne from the Jackson I started to get a little worried because all the hotels we passed looked like they were falling apart. Oh boy was I pleasantly surprised when I entered the cabin. The cabin was large with a living room/kitchen area by the entrance. It somehow manged to look rustic and fresh at the same time. The attention to detail in decorating the cabin was also impressive. There were skis on the wall, a sled up above and other wall decoration throughout. It felt like a place you'd want to live in. Out of the hundreds of hotels I stayed at, this hotel is one of the best. Free wifi and breakfast included. read more

Our family loved this quaint cabin motel. We had an unanticipated stay here due to some car trouble. When I called to check on availability, the woman was so friendly and accommodating. As soon as we rolled into the parking lot, we saw all of the cute cabins. The rooms were clean and they even placed a cute moose stuffed animal on the roll away cot for my young daughter. This place surprised me when I entered into the assigned room. I was in Thayne for a night and got Moose cabin and boy was I surprised! The room had a moose theme with bedsheets, sofa, lamp shades and almost everything having Moose on it. I would recommend this place and would visit again if I get a chance. read more

Stayed here for three nights late August. Lovely cabin with jacuzzi tub, fireplace and king bed. I had never been to Jackson Hole and am very pleased we stayed here and not in that tourist trap! The cabins are very cozy, nicely decorated and comfortable. I think the breakfast could use a creativity boost but it is included and convenient.
