There is nothing like sitting at a table here and enjoying the great food and great view. I always have to order tortillita de camarón from here, but there's tons of great food on the menu. Throw a dart and order whatever you hit. I love the pollo frito, jabuguitos, salpicón de mariscos, solomillo a la cerveza, brochetas de pescado, salmorejo, and I could go on. This place has great food that is indicative of this city and this region. Definitely check it out if you find yourself looking for a true "sanluqueño" experience.

My absolute favorite dish is the duck risotto. It has a savory intense flavor that isn't overpowering. It's shredded duck with perfectly cooked risotto. They also have photos available to show you each of the dishes before you order in case you are torn between options. The service is stupendous! They didn't speak English but were willing to help in any way possible. You can't go wrong at La Lobera for lunch or dinner.

They have a lot of the same stuff that you can find at bars around the city, but rarely are these foods made as good as they make it here. The tortilla de camarón is a little less crunchy than Balbino's, and I'm here for it. It's one of the best. Depends on my mood. But if you are coming here, there are two dishes that I say are must-haves. The patatas aliñadas here are legendary. With a healthy portion of Melva on top. Get it. The other dish is something you have to try in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, whether it be here or at another restaurant in the city. But you can't go wrong with this dish here. Langostinos de Sanlúcar..... mythical in the city. And if you come here, get the langostinos à la plancha. They are my favorite langostinos that I have had in the city and I've had them at lots of places, including Casa Bigote. Get them. Nothing better (or more sanluqueño) than sitting in the plaza drinking a manzanilla and enjoying langostinos and tortilla de camarón. It is truly an experience.

Just ask for the sauce on the side if you aren't a fan of it. The decor inside is full of American movie posters, such as Lethal Weapon and license plates from different US States.
