This was a nice little find on the East Cape of Baja. This little hotel has a total of 7 rooms spread over 3 buildings, with a restaurant, bar, pool, firepit, and small spa. The price is very reasonable and included a full cooked breakfast in the morning.
Our room was fairly large with a king bed, small couch, and a mini-kitchenette area (sink, microwave, etc). The view out the front door/window was of the Sea of Cortez a little distance away.
While the hotel is not right on the water, there really aren't any on the water in this area, it is a 15 minute walk or a 4 minute drive to a very beautiful beach with some of the softest sand in the world. They even have a Polaris to drive you down if you wish.
Cabanas Vista La Ribera is located on the 2 lane road that leads to Cabo Pulmo. But this road is lightly traveled so there is very little traffic - a car maybe every 20 minutes. There are few other places in the small town of Ribera, so some people stop here for lunch or dinner, but it is never crowded. The beach is similar, with only a handful of other people there while we were there on the long expanse. read more
