This booth is very fortunate it has great empanadas and the price is reasonable. Unfortunately the man that runs it is rude and short. Me literally stamp here every Tuesday since May and not one time has he been polite or engaging. We decided this last week we eat here. Between the two of us and the kids we spend $40-50 as everyone gets two empanadas. We entered this establishment with no one in sight, but didn't mind waiting for someone to appear, which only took a couple of minutes at the most. It was clean & cozy and we had just enough time to decide what we wanted from their straightforward menu. Pleasant interaction with owner and staff. We waited for our order to be delivered to us in their nicely decorated dining area. Great food presentation. Abundance of fresh veggies in the house salad, but the dressing was lackluster. I absolutely loved the BBQ Pork empanada, but didn't care for the Spinach & Cheese. The later had a little too much onion. Overall, I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying their desserts! This is a must stop if you're in Medford. Wow, where do I began? The empanadas are sooooo good! They are authentic and have fresh ingredients. You can tell they put in a lot of love and work into their food. My husband is from Uruguay and he was raving about them. They have a cute seating area, a restroom, they offer lunch foods, and vegan friendly options as well. They had yummy coffee with non dairy alternatives, alfajores dessert, flan, tiramisu and more. They also had some Argentinian beers, yerba mate, desserts, chimichurri, and more. I was surprised when I had seen my empanada had a V on it for vegan, the B for beef and etc. They are all stamped so you know which one is which. Such a great place if you want to try traditional Argentinian food. The service was also spectacular and very welcoming. We will definitely come back. read more

Where do I even begin with this place? I'll start with the food. The empanadas are absolutely incredible. From the perfectly flaky dough to the incredible flavor combinations, the owners have nailed it! I ordered several different flavors for takeout and feasted! My favorites were the date, goat cheese and bacon (omg omg omg amazing!) and the Malbec Beef (insanely good). We also ordered the onion and cheese, Portuguese chicken and ham and cheese. Each empanada seemed to be better than the last. I was very impressed with the variety and the depth of the flavors. For desert we ordered the alfajores with dulce de Leche. Another huge hit! Just plain delicious! I will definitely be frequenting this place in the future. Some added bonuses are that you can order these freshly baked or frozen and each empanada is conveniently stamped to denote the flavor that you ordered. Great little alfajores! My wife wanted some for her birthday, but they only do special order (no brick and mortar to stop into and buy). I called them up and they totally went the distance and took care of us. We were totally willing to go out to Ashland to grab them. The girl who took our call insisted she would deliver them later to us in Medford that day cuz she was heading our way anyways. We weren't gonna be home when she was planing on bringing them so we worked out a drop off point and left some cash. Let me start off by saying the food at CABA is better then average. In fact it's good. And I dig the laid back vibe. But there is just no accountability for how slow and time consuming this place is. An order of more than one thing will take you 15 minutes at least. There phone number doesn't work so you can't call ahead. It's beyond unprofessional and I will not be trying to order ahead anytime soon. Further when you do go there an order the food it takes a lot of prep time. They are not on any of the mobile order food services. I hope soon they get with 2019 and put themselves onto Grubhub or door dash. read more

Loved this place! I had the chicken/Malbec beef, and my friend had the caprese/spinach and cheese. Overall, the spinach and cheese was our favorite, but chicken was a close second. Yo this place is dope af. I tried the two gourmet empanadas (malbec beef and then bacon goat cheese and dates). Wow. The texture varied between the two: the bacon goat cheese date had a crispier, flakier exterior whereas the malbec steak and potatoes empanada was softer. According to my friend from Argentina, people like to debate potatoes v no potatoes when it comes to empanadas. Both were extremely pleasant. I enjoyed the variety of textures. Keeps it fresh. Few other nice things I noticed about the place . . . they have really good coffee. They stock a wide variety of San Pellagrino. And they don't charge extra for larger Americanos. I never understood that. Basically all places have different prices for small, medium or large even if all they're doing is adding more hot water. That really rustles my jimmies. Laura had great customer service and we were even lucky enough to meet her chef husband Gerardo. I have been to Argentina and I must say that their food is authentic and even better than what I remember. I would eat here everyday if I could, a must try location! We tried the Caba malbec and beef empanadas at the Cheese Festival a few months ago and couldn't wait for the restaurant to open. The onion and cheese empanadas, which are a standard and fairly pedestrian option at every pizzeria in Buenos Aires, are decadent and delicious here. The tapas are closer to pastry, light and flaky. The spinach and queso also are wonderful as were the beef. Perfect alfajores, very nice service, everything down to the black and white Caba sign feels like it could be on a street in Palermo. We're hoping they're wildly successful and expand the menu to the occasional locro and choripan! read more

BEST EMPANADAS IN THE VALLEY! Caba is not messing around when it comes to perfecting their empanadas! The crust and fold of their empanada is perfection and they never disappoint. Each bite is bursting with flavor. They flavors are consistent and they are always my go-to at the Grower's Market. My personal favorite is the Portuguese chicken empanada. Very affordable too!
