Karolina was the first to reply and was the most on the ball, which is what I was looking for in a wedding planner. From the moment we Skyped with her I knew that was it and we didn't need to look any further. She organized everything, gave us enough options but didn't overwhelm us and took care of literally EVERYTHING. My husband had endless questions and requests and she was always patient (more so than me lol). All the vendors she works with are fantastic too which is a testament to Karolina's wonderful relationships with them! My husband was worried about being able to integrate his Syrian traditions with my American ones, but Karolina pulled it off and always made really wonderful suggestions and was sensitive and accommodating to the differences in culture. Our wedding day was flawless and even despite the threat of rain, Karolina handled the last minute changes easily! I had video chatted with a few other wedding planners in Barcelona, and Karolina was the only one who was willing to work with our budget. Other planners I spoke with suggested we make a higher budget. From the beginning Karolina was very organized and always made herself available, via email, Whatsapp, and video chat. She helped us keep everything organized and when we arrived in Barcelona, she immediately met with us to go over all the wedding details, etc. The wedding day itself went perfectly. Karolina was at our wedding from start to finish. She even went to meet our guests at our pick up location and loaded them on the buses to ensure the transportation went smoothly. She stayed with our planned schedule for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, etc., but never made our guests feel rushed. We were stress free on the day of our wedding because Karolina was so organized and on top of everything. We are so happy with the services she provided and would recommend her to anyone. This was my home for three nights in Barcelona…read more Just 2 blocks away was a metro stop. It made my commute so easy as I was out and about all day. They had a bar I never got to drop in at since I always got back late so they were already closed. There's a parking garage literally right next-door so if you're traveling in with a car parking is not a problem at all. There's also a lot of food options surrounding the area so you can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner all within 5 minutes walking distance. My dinner reservations happened to all be walking distance. You can also walk to Las Ramblas. There's a deck on the roof with chaise lounges. They even have a shower. The bed was comfortable and it was always made up when I got back after spending all day outside. I was in room 206 which unfortunately didn't have a window.

Room service was fast and efficient. Less than a few minutes after you call for room service, you can expect a 'knock' on your door. My Marriott status did get an upgrade so that probably helped. The rooftop bar is nice if not a tad uncomfortable (well the stools we were on weren't great), but there are spectacular views there. The breakfast was just serviceable. I'm not sure how good an extended stay would be but the location is pretty great and just a block or so off one of the main drags, so you can get to dinner and things easily on foot.

Gym is small and only has a couple machines. Breakfast is okay Will comment in that in second review. Great location only a mile or so from beach and in city center. So .... Problems with room straight away but maintenance josh was awesome. And hotel had us change rooms. In the new room and still showed some signs of recent construction but no more problems. Water drain fixed and AC works. Front desk did a good job of finding us a new room and making sure we were happy and comfortable. Have a good view of the surrounding buildings. Check in was easy but it is 3 o'clock and though we showed up early they didn't have anything for us. Had to wait till 2:30 or so but they were great and met us check our bags so we could walk around city. Will provide more pics with second review after we have been here for several days.

Custom typographical signage guides you through the hallways and in room features. The air conditioning system is the most quiet we have ever seen anywhere in the world. Someone was paying attention to the guest experience when they were planning this property. Small cafe downstairs serves great little sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and of course espresso in the morning. They'll make you eggs and other things if you ask. There's a great rooftop terrace with a self-service bar. The location is absolutely perfect with access to shops, cafes, main boulevard's and taxi services. We would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable room and bed. Staff was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast delicious. Location great. The rooftop bar was indeed quite nice. But the best part for us was our evening visit to the basement lounge and time spent with Archie, the best bartender and most fun conversationalist you can imagine. Very in tune with American politics and current events. And just plain fun! . I highly recommend this hotel!
