My husband ordered what was shown on the menu as seared tuna however he received overly cooked, gray tuna that tasted as if it had been reheated after having spoiled. When we complained the waiter simply stated that is how they serve the dish and walked away. The ox tail was hard and did not fall off the bone. The pork was dry and overcooked. And, the prices were exuberant considering the poor quality of the food. All in all, every dish seemed preheated, overcooked, and just plain awful.

As we are English speaking tourists there may have been a language barrier. We ordered the vegetable tempura and the black pudding to start. The appetisers were very tasty including the sauces they came with. 2 of the party ordered rib eye steaks for mains which were some of the best ever tasted. At €20 a great deal coming from a group used to US and Ireland prices. 2 of our party are vegetarian and they much enjoyed the vegetarian pasta dishes. Overall we were very impressed with the food, service and general ambience.
