I needed to get an international driver's permit and the only place that does it is CAA. Makes sense since they're worldwide. You can actually send in your form with pictures but I highly recommend going in person. It's super quick and they are able to issue the permit to you immediately. You can even take your pictures there if you don't already have them. Taking your pics here will cost $22, which isn't bad. I actually came to do so on 2 different occasions. The first time, there was no one in line so it took less than 10 minutes. The next time, all the counters were taken but even then, it was pretty fast. Most other people that were there seemed to also be applying for an IDP or renewing their CAA membership which were both pretty fast services. The staff were really friendly even though they seemed swamped.
If you haven't been in a CAA store before, they have some really cool travel stuff. They have lots of different plugs for all countries for your travels, luggage, and safe carry bags (like the Pacsafe brand).
