I ordered catfish, and they brought me tilapia like I wouldn't notice the difference. Completely unacceptable. They were out of every basic drink no sodas at all and handed us water in cheap red plastic cups. On top of that, the building was freezing, like they didn't care if customers were comfortable. The service was horrible. Our server had an attitude, moved slow, and acted like serving us was a problem. The entire place felt unprofessional, unorganized, and not ready to serve anybody. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money. Lovett's Soul Food is an embarrassment at this point. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

If you are already a poke fan, DEFINITELY check them out. If you are a newbie or poke-curious, Poke Munch makes it VERY easy on beginners - and the staff is the "sauce on the bowl" if you will. It has been the same, clearly-invested, friendly and engaging staff on each visit (Ie....no rotating high schoolers checking IG on their phone while you figure ish out). Poke Munch is a Hawaiian take on the poke bowl. It is in a small shopping area with plenty of parking. You enter the shared dining area mentioned above and head right to order at the counter before moving on to your seat. The dining area and restrooms were very clean each time I visited. There is a ginormous, easy to read (and understand) list of recommended bowls. Keep in mind you can customize whatever you like! Or ask the staff to make you their favorite bowl.....put their favorite combo of sauces on your custom bowl....etc. etc. I DESPISE ginger, and as I get older, the number of carbohydrates consumed and the size of my pants seem to correlate, so I always hold the ginger & grains and get all mixed greens as the base of my bowl. Their raw, cubed fish has always been exceptionally fresh. There are a ton of vegan options and if you don't care for raw or surf, there is an excellent Crispy Hei Hei bowl with sesame chicken tempura, white cabbage, cucumber, sweet onion, carrot, shiitake mushroom, crispy garlic, unagi sauce, and PM sauce - but again, construct and customize any way you want. Do not sleep on the *Shiitake Mushroom Pot Stickers*. LOVE! Chopsticks, cutlery, and soy sauce are available. Grab a lid for your bowl if you don't finish. The food is so fresh that it has been just as good during round 2.

Waited 30 minutes when I noticed only two tables had food delivered since we sat down. I looked around and counted 18 tables that were sat before us patiently waiting for food. I then saw Doc walk out the door carrying a paper bag that appeared to contain food. Two possible managers going table to table blaming a new line cook for the delay. Here's the issue. Docs items are not cooked to order. Owners don't walk out when 80% of their patrons are experiencing extended waits on food, and one new employee should not be the excuse given at Doc's Smokehouse. Docs has great food, and amazing customer service. Hopefully what happened Friday night is not the new norm. Go try docs, but don't count on it being the service that you're used to getting.

We were greeted by a lovely young lady working the register who took our order and we sat down at our assigned table. We were quickly served our drinks and waited for our overly large order (we wanted to try lots of things). The ribs were delicious. Just enough smoke (this is not Texas BBQ) and so juicy. My husband's pulled pork was very good and thankfully did not come sauced already. The turkey very moist and tender and flavorful. Yum. The burnt ends were a little dry, but can be forgiven because it was near the end of the night. We were checked on frequently, drinks refilled. Then we had the opportunity to meet Susan, the owner. If you don't know Susan was a competition BBQ'r for many years before opening her restaurant with her husband and you can see all her trophies and ribbons in the room She graciously bought us some bread pudding and gave me a little secret about it! If you think this is anything other than spectacular there is something wrong with your pallet. We have eaten around the world in some very high end restaurants and that gave us as much satisfaction and joy as many a dessert. Delicious. My husband was trying to be good but sadly had to finish the lot Lovely experience, delicious BBQ. Not as smoky as Texas which is what we are more familiar with but we enjoyed it a lot. My recent visit, I…read moretried the, Pollo Feliz and I can honestly say, it may be a future go-to or at least in my top 3 choices. Polo Feliz is one of their chicken specialties. It's a grilled chicken breast with shrimp. They serve it on a bed of mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and melted cheese. On a second plate, it is served with rice, beans, salad and tortillas. It was so much food, I could not clean my plate. The chicken breast and shrimp were excellent. They were seasoned and grilled perfectly. Honestly, when I order it the next time, I may tell them to hold the second plate, except for the tortillas. The service is always good and when it's super busy, I don't mind sitting at the bar. Being a single diner, I hate tying up a table or booth when they could sit a larger group. Arandas is on the backside of my subdivision, I can easily walk there. I'm going to check and see if their new patio is dog friendly. If so, my fur-baby and I may become regulars.

Anyone that has ever been to Texas or California (or even Chipotle or Qdoba) knows that real Mexican food has different types of meats to choose from, not the Taco Bell quickie menu options. I did like the rice. The chips were a little stale, the salsa was fine and I'm not sure what the sweet tasting dipping sauce was. The margarita lacked in taste. I was hoping for something that would make me want to drive back here again but it was a lot like all the others I passed to get here.

It's only open on Fridays and everything is done to order. While I waited for my order, I saw a sign saying you could buy their breading and that it was available in stores. Once I tasted it, I could see why you'd want to buy it. My nuggets had a nice crisp coating and the seasoning in the breading was full of flavor. The Hush Puppies had chopped jalapeños, which made them the best Hush Puppies I have ever had. The fries were seasoned and still had the skins on and that's a plus for me. My Cole Slaw was creamy and runny, but the had decent flavor. Other sides offered were, potato salad and baked beans. It was so disappointing, that I didn't even eat it all. I threw half of it away and I rarely waste food. My Two Plate was a Pork Steak and Brisket, with Smokehouse Beans and Spicy Cheese Corn. The Pork Steak was good, but the Brisket was dried and tough. The Smokehouse Beans have disappointed me before, but I wanted to give them another chance. Again, they were to runny and had not enough seasoning to give them pizzaz. Their Spicy Cheese Corn was just okay, it was cheesy, but did no live up to the "Spicy" name. What was most disappointing was the customer service. The young lady taking my order was friendly and professional, so she gets a thumbs up. The disappointment came when I was presented my order at the counter. As I waited for my for to be prepared I took a stool at the counter, just down from the register. When it was ready, the owner brought it out and dropped the bag in front of me and turned to walk away. No thank-you, no nothing. I had to speak first, to get response and it was just faint grunt. It is a sad day when a business owner cannot thank a customer for supporting his business.
