have always had a positive experience with this location. everyone has always been friendly and helpful. Love the ability to go into a location vs having everything shipped. Billing is detailed and all insurance issues handed without having an issue. Only downfall is when you call vs going into the location. Hold times are not the best but would never deter me from going elsewhere. Living in the area I can get to this location in less than 10 minutes with any issues that might occur and have always been resolved in a timely manner. read more

Overcharged my insurance and was told it was reasonable to charge a rate 3 times higher than I can pay elsewhere. Stopped using them and told them to take me off the renewal list. Even blocking the number will get voicemails with the automated message checking on my CPAP supplies. Service has gone down hill dealing with billing. read more

This is a horrible location to do business with for many reasons. The main one is their explanation of paperwork. You are told one thing and charged another. IF this would have happened on one occasion, I would have chalked it up to a misunderstanding, but twice there is no excuse. We went it to get a new machine and were talked into upgrading, in which we ended up with a monthly payment we agreed upon, then we get an automatic withdraw of over $600 additional that is not spelled out in the agreement. They "supposedly" sent notification via email to a bad email account. When contacted there was no working it out or even apologizing for not communicating clearly. But my husband and I could not have heard her wrong, it clearly wasn't explained. Shame on them for treating their customers this way. read more

We used to sing the praises of CPap Central. However, in the past two years the customer service has nose dived. If the insurance doesn't pay within a month or two, they send you to collections, even though you are willing and able to pay it. The hold time for the Dasco home office exceeds six minutes. Then you get a voice mail. The new guys are not as knowledgeable about the masks or their Point of Sale system. I had to tell him how to process an exchange. Very disappointed. Avoid this place. I wish I'd have known and saved myself the trip here. Don't let this happen to you. I came in with insurance information, doctor's prescription and was told I would have a onetime copay as $24.99. The whole transaction went too fast, not much explanation and made the one time copay in November of last year. After 45 days later, I received a bill from DASCO Medical Westerville, which is the provider for C-PAP Central. THEY billed for an additional $60.95. I called C-PAP and spoke to Demetri, he explained that it was upgrade payment not copay that non-related to medical bill, The Nasal mask were UPGRADE (which I never asked for) . As a result, they do not file this premium upgrade through insurance. Please don't be fooled by them.. read more

Absolutely worthless place to go for anything. I went there today, Black Friday, to purchase a new SoClean2. We arrived to an empty store with one lady who didn't seem to enthused to acknowledge us in any way and another employee, a man, who seemed so engrossed in his phone conversation he could not muster the ability to look up and acknowledge us when we entered. I asked about purchasing a Soclean2 to which the young lady, who also could not muster up the simple ability to smile, went off to the back to search for the SoClean2. In the meantime the man who was on the phone never once was able to even acknowledge our mere presence with a nod despite the fact he was not speaking and appeared to be on hold. After about five minutes of waiting the young lady emerged from the back of the store and said simply "Sorry we don't have any". To which I said something to the effect of how is this possible when it's the biggest shopping day of the year and she just sort of shrugged and said they didn't carry many of them. I went from being disappointed that they didn't have the product to very unhappy with the lack of any solution whatsoever being offered to make the sale. She said to my wife "The woman who orders them comes in on Tuesdays and Thursdays" and I told her to just forget it we'd order off Amazon and again, not one bit of "well we could order one and let you know when it comes in.." or anything to that effect. Pretty obvious to me these two people manning the store wanted to be anywhere else but here on Black Friday and just wanted us to leave. I told my wife we would order from Amazon and when we searched on Amazon we found the actual product $50 cheaper anyways. Avoid this place. It obviously has very little stock and employs people who who apparently hate their job and don't give a damn about customer service. And judging from the lack of customers in the store, everyone has mostly already figured that out. I wish I'd have known and saved myself the trip here. read more

She's pleasant and very apologetic, she stated that she'd speak with her staff to avoid the unforgettable mishaps I experienced, especially of the comment made out loud by on of the staff in regards to another client. My first visit to CPAP central was about 5 years ago. A couple things really impressed me about the business. I went there to ask questions about CPAP machines. I told the salesman (Reid) that I wouldn't be able to buy from their business because I have to get mine from Medicare. Even though he knew he wouldn't make a sale, he spent nearly an hour with me answering my questions. Today I went to the store again, this time to look at CPAP sanitizer/cleaners. Same story, and coincidentally, the same salesperson (Reid). He knew we would either have to buy on line or from another company yet he spent over 45 minutes with us answering questions. I mentioned about how my current mask was causing some problems and he showed me several and which one would meet our needs and again, knowing full well he wouldn't make a sale. Bottom line; the staff there are an A+ in my book. Professional, proficient and attentive. If you're younger and in the market for CPAP equipment, this should be your go-to place. read more

I just came to C-Pap Central for a new device. Extremely helpful from picking out unit and supplies. Came back a few days later because I was not sleeping well. Laura, a respiratory therapist, was awesome and helped diagnose that my prescription was incorrect for my current condition . Spent a lot of time working with me and my Dr. office and addressed the Dr office miss. Huge deal and Laura was very knowledgeable and responsive. New unit and all is great now. read more

Great for getting supplies. I set up a payment schedule for my balance and they said it would be fine. A month later in November 2019 they charged my account the full price, they didn't put it on the payment schedule. I had to play phone tag with them for the day to finally get someone to help me. They got it reversed and said they set it up. Money was refunded to my account in 3 days. read more

I came in with insurance info and was told I would have a onetime copay. I was a little disappointed when informed that my replacement would have to be at a lower tier. I made the one time copay in November of last year. Out of the blue I have been getting several calls a day to get in touch with them. This weekend 4/10/16, 5 months later I get a final notice for payment of $254.42. (with threats of collection) All calls have been robo in nature. Not one attempt by a human. I have always used CPAP.com for all my CPAP needs, but today I decided to give this local business a try. I went in to purchase a new mask and tubing. The young lady who assisted me was very pleasant. When I told her that the mask I loved and used for years was no longer being produced, she recommended an appropriate replacement. She then asked me what size I needed; I pointed out I never used this mask before so I didn't know, she didn't make any suggestions so I asked her if a sizing guide or gauge was available, she said no. So I asked if I could try a medium, she let me do so, but I still wasn't sure if it was correct, nothing was said about trying another size. I purchased the medium since they do have a 30 day return policy. When I returned home I looked up the same mask on CPAP.com. There, it was $10 less, with free shipping and a 30 day return policy as well. Not only that but the medium frame came with 4 different sized nose pieces for the same $10 less price. CPAP.com also advised that though the medium frame fits most, small and large frames were available as well. And to top it off they had a printable nasal sizing gauge from the manufacturer, which showed quite clearly that I need a small nasal piece. I'm going to complete my current mask purchase here but return to CPAP.com for all further CPAP needs. read more

4-5 years ago I used C-Pap Central and was happy with the service. Every time I have called since then it is a nightmare. I just called to ask for the price of a replacement mask and got the run-around, again. I just wanted to know the cost. Tell me the retail cost. Then if you want to ask about my insurance ask away. I ended up ordering what I needed online from a company that simply had their price listed. Click, ordered, free shipping, done. Online retailers make it tough for brick and mortar stores to compete, but terrible customer service is what is really putting them out of business. read more

BEWARE of charges called premium product upgrades. I was told to receive my CPAP equipment I had to pay for these upgrades out of pocket. They do not file these premium upgrades through insurance. After we figured out what was happening, my daughter got the exact same equipment, with the same insurance coverage, and was covered 100%, through another company. No out of pocket expenses or premium upgrades. read more

I've not seen any other store with the variety of masks on display - it's nice to be able to go in and check out the options. Getting what you need can take longer than expected if other customers have dropped in at the same time and need attention. But there are masks to check out, and nice chairs for while you wait. I've never had any staff there be unpleasant. And the convenience of being able to call them up and ask them to send me replacement masks is REALLY great. read more

I have had a very good experience with them and have brought several family members from out of state as well. These people know far more than people that perform similar services in other cities that I have dealt with. The problem that some in my family have run into it that some sleep study clinics only supply the cheapest quality products that they can get insurance to pay for. This business at least offers the option of higher level products that work better, are quieter, easier to use, portable, and are not an eye sore. Having read the one star reviews, I know from experience that even if insurance said that they will cover a product or service, that doesn't mean that they will. As I have seen with other people on here I was quoted a one time fee of 150.00 co-pay. On my quote for the machine it would be 499.00 total to purchase. After a so called, "rental fee" paid by my insurance for a year I get a bill for an additional 280.00. Wait isn't 280+150 a grand total of 430? If it started at 499.00 the math just doesn't add up. I just walked out of CPAP Central and called my supplier DASCO Medical Supplier. I love DASCO, the people are very kind and have gone out of their way to make sure that I got what I needed. I needed an adapter for my new ResMed Aircure 10. CPAP wanted to charge me ~$34.95 before taxes. SoClean only charges $20.00 for the same price. I went on to SoClean's Amazon site and the part will be delivered tomorrow to my door for ~$21.50 with taxes. I once was a customer of CPAP Central and left because in my opinion the provided poor customer service. In my opinion they haven't changed. I shared my experience with DASCO. read more

I kept getting charged more than the Member Responsibility on my Explanation of Benefits. When I contacted them they told me that they can do that because I signed a waiver. How it was explained to me is that insurance considers certain products as premium and covers those to a lesser extent which would cost me more. I was not told that they do not even bill insurance for this amount because they know it is above the contracted rate. As a result I am paying a lot of money out of pocket that is not even being counted toward my deductible. Get your supplies from somewhere that is more transparent and doesn't try to rip you off. In addition it took me a long time to get this information considering people in billing would never return my calls. read more

My husband and I were very dissatisfied with our experience. We wait 30 mins after our appointment time before we received service. Immediatly pulled over towards a wall and told basically here's the machine you're contracted and then here's the 2 we want you to buy. We were given hardly any overview of the machines and expected to make a choice. Then when we selected the base model and our respiratory therapist immediatly got an attitude and treated us like the cheap customers. Then we were whisped into the back and rapid fired information. As I tried to ask questions about the purchase we were making she was increasingly more rude and snippy. The overall impression I received was let me finish my prerecorded sales pitch and leave. At one point as I was asking purchase information I actually was told rudely " I don't know I'm just a respiratory therapist." Even when we asked general product information we were treated like a burden. To make matters worse we googled the products we just purchased on Amazon and realized every cpap model is nearly 3 times cheaper online. Overall, we left feeling insulted and unsure of our purchase we just got stuck with for next 10 months. I almost feel robbed! My advice to new customers buy your device off Amazon where you can truly research your purchase and if you do go here avoid the respiratory therapist Amari! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the store has nice setup and the respiratory therapist did explain how to use the device well read more

Very RUDE They have over charged me for a "upgrade" and did not even send in the invoice to my insurance company. The machine they said would my insurance would pay for and the one I ended up buying only showed a $200 difference on their codes and I ended up paying an additional $400 ?????? Plus, they overcharged me another $51 and then sent in a full bill to my insurance company????? What the hell ... this place is a joke and I will continue fighting them on this one... absolutely ridiculous and the woman who waited on me was incredibly rude and obnoxious. I have always found the staff at C-PAP to be friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all my questions. Since I bought my machine there, I have had several questions which they always answer. They went over the different machines that I could buy, only after I tell them my needs. They always give me a tutorial on how to use the machines, etc. I went out of the country this past October and bought a battery to use. No problem. My only complaint is that they do not bill Medicare. read more

For a recurring theme search Dasco Medical Westerville, which is the provider for C-PAP Central. I have been called every 2 days from Dasco for a billing dispute. From the time I picked up the equipment till I returned it, I felt like I was working with ppl that had no job training. I have spoken to three ppl at C-PAP, one was the office manager Natalie. All 3 said I had an outstanding fee for a mask upgrade that would be removed. I even have a voice mail from Natalie that confirms this. But now Its not a mask upgrade (which I never asked for) but for another reason, and the recorded calls continued with no resolution. I called Dasco and C-PAP and asked for the calls to stop which I believe is collection abuse. I'm going to pay the balance. i just can't take it anymore. Don't let this happen to you. I think of all of the elderly or ill people that are going to them for succor and it makes me sad and mad. read more
