It's been 3 years since we had our original wide board pine floors refinished by this company and I…read moream still bothered by the finished product and experience. We asked for a glossy finish to match the existing floors in adjacent rooms and throughout the house, but we were apparently ignored and the floors ended up satin. The crew that came, which included the owner, made such a mess. It seemed that one person on it was barely even trained. They dripped stain on our front door and porch. There were stain drips left running down the walls of the stairwell. The corners of the floors and low spots were not sanded down properly because they told us "they didn't bring the right tools", leaving uneven color across the floor. We were quoted for refinishing stair treads too, but the crew showed up surprised that the stair treads were to be done. They did such a terrible job, because again, they did not have the right tools. The tools they used ripped into our risers leaving nasty gashes. We asked them to stop halfway and leave the job unfinished - I ended up having to do extensive patchwork and painting due to the damage. The workmanship was sloppy, attitudes were snappy, and they were pressed to leave both days because of another job they had scheduled. The service was not dust free by any means and certainly not professional. I am still so sorry we chose this company, but based on their portfolio we thought they could match the work we previously had done, which was phenomenal. Unfortunately, we were wrong.
